  What can I say about Lina and her team that hasn't already been said? It is because of Lina that I was introduced to such wonderful vendors across the board. Lina is vibrant, compassionate, has incredible taste, and will make sure your event comes out beautiful, rain or shine. Our wedding was LITERALLY under a tropical storm. His name was Philippe. But Lina didn't let him get in the way, not one bit. While I was getting ready in my bridal suite, I saw Lina and her team scrambling in the rain to make sure every detail was perfect. Her assistant, Carlitos, was a godsend. Whatever you needed, he always seemed to be nearby to get it. Lina's husband, Tomasito Cruz, did the percussion show alongside the DJ; He was SPECTACULAR! He gave the party this extra depth and flavor that would otherwise be missing. I cannot say enough about this team but I am so happy they were the ones to do our wedding. Thank you for your patience, your friendship and your love. I hope we can continue this past the wedding and collaborate again soon. Xoxo

  By far the best decision I made when planning my wedding. Lina and Tomasito are dedicated and experienced professionals. They both bring a unique and artistic set of skills when it comes to event planning. Lina is always willing to collaboratively work with the bride and family to make their dreams come true. She is efficient, organized, and hardworking. She is always on her "A" game and gets the best possible deals out there. The value they give for the cost is just unbeatable! I urge all brides and grooms to get their services with UME. They have excellent relationships with top vendors (everyone absolutely loves them), which is of upmost importance when planning to have a successful wedding. Wedding planning requires much detail and juggling many pieces that Lina handles graciously, allowing the bride, groom and close family members to enjoy the night without any worries. Also, Tomasito is a true artist. As my mother says "what makes a party is the music!" and rest assure that Tomasito can definitely make that happen! I couldn't have been more blessed to have Lina as my wedding planner, and now amazing friend, and UME as part of my entertainment. Thank you UME for making the wedding planning process enjoyable and for your outstanding services!

  Lina and the UME team are beyond amazing! From the moment you first speak with Lina she is warm, charismatic, and genuine, trust me you will love her! Lina pulled by wedding off in 3 months and it was a night to remember. Her team is very hands on, but also allow you the space to speak freely and incorporate you're own vision. No matter what size wedding, venue, or style, the UME team will deliver. I feel I have found a lifetime friend with Lina all due to the birth of my wedding. My guests still talk about how beautiful the wedding was and no doubt was it fun!!! Thank you UME for a lifetime of memories!

  Working with Universal Music Events is a breeze. Lina is amazing. She is kind, courteous, and professional. I hired Tomasito Cruz and his small salsa combo. band for a corporate Christmas party in December 2014. They arrived on time, and set-up under less-than-desireable conditions. They were willing to "roll with the punches" to make it work, and they did so with the utmost professionalism and care.
  
  Because they were so well received, and working with them was such a joy, I hired them a year later for a party on a yacht. Once again, Murphy's Law prevailed, and the dock location had to change at the last minute (to another county). Once again, Universal Music Events worked WITH me to make the evening a success. They are true "partners" and understand the challenges "the biz" often presents us.
  
  I cannot recommend them enough for their professionalism, kindness, and top-notch delivery of services!!!

  I did a chair rental from Lina for a 3-day weekend event. Her people showed up on time, chairs were in good condition and great price. Very important and difficult to find good reliable vendors here in Miami, and she is wonderful to work with. Definitely recommend people to use her services.

  Lina has been a great help when it comes to making me standout at special events! With her professionalism and personable approach, I have come to her for many, many special occasions for my make-up and look!   I booked Lynette and Tomasito Cruz for my wedding in Miami in 2013. Lynette was very professional, organized, and responsive before, during, and after the event. Tomasito is an extremely talented musician and really understands how to create excitement and festivity around him. The musicians had the technical ability and creativity to give my husband and me four distinct musical sensibilities for our wedding, each of which perfectly executed. We had a gorgeous Bossa Nova duo for our ceremony, a jazz combo for the cocktail hour, DJ'd music for the dinner, and a full Cuban band for the reception. I was impressed by how discreetly they were able to move their equipment around in a challenging space—a historical venue with many, many rules for set-up. They didn't disturb the flow of the wedding at all, and they packed up very efficiently. My guests couldn't get enough of the music: they were dancing until the venue made them stop. I highly, highly recommend this organization.
