University Club Louisville Reviews

This venue offers a hefty discount for faculty - no site charge, even to rent THE WHOLE BUILDING! The food costs are on par with every other reception venue we researched, making the University Club the best value for U of L faculty. The event coordinator is friendly, kind, and professional; she has been doing it for 20 years and is eager to help! The building is very fancy, with multiple event rooms that can be rented out as well as multiple bars and a professional chef.

Great.. would definitely use again

We LOVED the University Club, the food, the amenities, but most importantly, Patricia the wedding coordinator. She was with us every step of the way and we could not have had such a smooth, beautiful wedding without her.

This was the PERFECT venue! Patricia was my (free!) wedding coordinator and handled the tiniest detail with professionalism and grace. She gave suggestions now and then, but overall did exactly what I wanted even when it wasn't 'traditional' to do so. It was such a stress-free experience and I couldn't have done it without her! It's a gorgeous place, very accommodating, affordable and so flexible. The food is amazing and everything was included except the cake (tables, diningware, set up/take down, food, chairs, linens, changing rooms). I can't recommend this place enough!

This venue needs a new wedding coordinator. She didn't listen to anything i wanted in our reception. Our rehearsal was rushed and not in the same spot as the wedding day so everyone was confused day of the wedding.

The description on this site and our contract states that there is no charge for the ball room. We were charged $500.

On the morning of my wedding she didn't help with anything she hid in her office.

I had several complaints from my guest and other vendor's that she was rude to them. Then she left in the middle of our reception.

The venue its self is beautiful aand the food is amazing
