    Ah-maz-ing

    TL;DR We had a partial planning package with Grace for our wedding Oct'22. She was amazing - super detail oriented, responsive, and trustworthy; and would refer her to any friend in an instant!

    My fiance and I were engaged April 2021 and had a wedding date 1.5 yrs later, in October 2022. We live in the Bay Area and our venue was in Winters, closer to Sacramento. We originally hired a different planner who was local and had a large instagram following, but quickly learned not to base decisions on social media clout... We ended up dropping our first planner because she wouldn't respond to emails for months which gave us anxiety during the planning process.
    When choosing a replacement planner, we considered hiring someone more local to help us with rentals or a planner familiar with our venue. However, we chose Grace because after speaking with her and asking questions, she was the most thorough and quick in her responses and was very understanding/sympathetic to our situation. Even though Grace had never done a wedding at our venue before and she was traveling from LA, this wasn't an issue at all; Our signage vendor dropped us last minute (a month prior to our wedding) and after one text, Grace was on it and provided some alternative options to look into. She communicated clearly with our venue and other Bay Area vendors, put together a contingency plan and backup floor plan for rain, etc.

    Grace has a great eye for design and she created a beautiful moodboard for us. She was always patient and available during the planning process as I went too deep into wedding design rabbit holes and questioned my decisions. She provided a great sounding board for all decisions, big or small.

    Month of, Grace was instrumental in executing all our ideas. She facetimed into our floral mockup, and provided thorough templates with table/seat assignments and meals/diet restrictions, decor and photo checklists. There were a lot of considerations I would not have thought of if I hadn't had Grace by our side. Grace created multiple versions of detailed timelines and adjusted it based on our feedback and edits. She was also always responsive, and if she needed more time to get back to us because she was busy with another wedding that weekend she would let us know. Because we had all our meetings over zoom, we had no idea that Grace was actually pregnant the entire time and gave birth a couple weeks before our wedding! She is truly a superhero.

    The real magic happened during the wedding weekend. Grace ran our dress rehearsal smoothly, and had the ceremony songs and officiant speech pulled up. Then for the actual wedding - my now husband and I were able to sit back and thoroughly enjoy without having a single worry. After the wedding, my husband noted, "you know, things just happened to work. My dad popped out mic'd up, ready to play guitar during cake cutting, things magically appeared where they were supposed to, and everything was on time". I later found out that my reception chair rentals were late, but I had no idea during the wedding because Grace handled it all behind the scenes. My husband's parents are also older (60s), and were confused about how to find their seat assignment and they noted that Grace kindly escorted them to their seats.
    There was so much happening behind the scenes to pull off an amazing day for my husband and I and we are so grateful to Grace!

    Amazing Wedding Coordinator!

    After postponing once, and eventually cancelling our destination due to Covid, we decided to book and plan a local wedding within 3 months. At that point we were so over the planning process and ready to get it over with. I found Grace and decided to hire her for month-of coordination to help with the planning. Although she was a month-of coordinator, she was helping us even 3 months out, and would send emails to confirm details as the weeks got closer. I appreciate that she was very straight forward and gave her honest opinion on things like décor items. There were many times where I would be out shopping and texted her to see what she thought some things, and she would tell me if it would go or wouldn’t go with our theme.
    We had several zoom calls leading up to the wedding. The month of the wedding she reached out to all our vendors to confirm details, collect COI’s, and finalized our timeline. The week of the wedding she prepared an Inventory List of all the décor/personal items to pack and bring to the wedding which was so helpful. She even let us borrow some of the inventory that she had available. She made sure our rehearsals and wedding day went smoothly and that we were all on schedule, and even brought us food and drinks when we didn’t have time to eat. At the end of the night, she packed up all our personal items and had it ready for us to take home, while she stayed behind to hand our vendors their tip money. We are so grateful to have Grace and her team work our wedding. They really made the experience stress free!

    Most awesomest planner ever

    We were so blessed to have Grace as our wedding planner. I am going to try my best to sum up how awesome she is so I don’t go over the review limit. When our original wedding date got postponed due to covid, she helped us to readjust details for our future date. She found out about sudden changes to our venue that would have ruined our wedding. She helped us twice more to find an alternative venue until we got our third venue. She ensured all our details were in order and was available literally 24/7 whenever we had any questions. On the wedding day, she kept us on schedule while still checking up on both of us periodically. When uhhh certain individuals were inebriated, she has iv water and made sure all our things were packed in our car.

    Grace is extremely detailed oriented, hardworking, and careful. She will not bullshit you and will give it to you straight when you need answers or help. If it was not for her, we would have strongly considered just canceling the wedding given all the recent circumstances. Six out of five stars for sure! I strongly strongly strongly recommend her if you want a fabulous wedding.

    The Wedding Planner You Can Trust

    We learned about Grace when we went to our friend's super fun wedding back in 2019. We wanted a wedding that was just as fun, so we decided to hire Grace. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding date at our original venue and moved our wedding outdoors at the same venue. Approximately 2 months before the wedding, Grace, being the very detail oriented planner she is, asked our venue about the dance floor. This is when we found out that our venue did not allow a dance floor due to noise restrictions. From there, we had to decide whether we wanted to postpone our date again or completely change venues. We ultimately decided to change venues. Grace was so supportive the whole time. She helped us find venue options and she helped us contact those venues. When we did fine one we liked, she helped us try to secure it, but within minutes, the venue informed us that someone had taken the date we wanted. Feeling defeated, we continued the search with Grace's help and finally found another venue. She helped with the price negotiations so that we wouldn't lose so much money by completely changing venues. She also helped us find a restaurant for our rehearsal dinner, as we did not realize that it was difficult to find an restaurant that could accommodate 20 guest party. The dinner was such a hit!
    Our wedding day was beyond our expectations. We had never visited our venue prior to our wedding day as we trusted Grace's impression and skills. She worked closely with the florist for floral designs, and helped to design the stationary and signs. She was in close communication with all the vendors on the weeks/months leading up to our big day. Our wedding day went so smoothly. Our venue ended being such a romantic setting with all the lights, table candles and flowers. We also were able to dance the night away on the dance floor!

    After the numerous emails, meetings, and text messages exchanged with Grace for the last 1.5 years, we are so glad that she helped planned our wedding. She essentially SAVED OUR WEDDING, despite the pandemic, one date postponement, and 2 venue changes. we are forever grateful for all that Grace did to make our big day possible! If you want a wedding planner that is reliable, detail oriented, and organized wedding planner, you need to hire Grace!

    Exceptionally Detail Oriented, Responsive, and Reliable Wedding Planner/Coordinator

    Originally, we were looking for a day-of coordinator to help us with some minimal planning and to keep us on track of the schedule on the day of. Grace definitely went above and beyond what we expected of her, as she took over the wedding planning process midway, right when COVID started to unravel our plans in February.

    Planning a wedding during COVID has been tremendously difficult, as our event was postponed twice due to the shelter in place restrictions. Grace was extremely accommodating to our changes and provided valuable advice on how to plan a safe, yet fun and memorable wedding during these times.

    We had many hours-long Zoom meetings to go over our ideas and plans. While we initiated the vendor selection ourselves, Grace helped us put our ideas into action through many well thought-out action plans and schedules. Several things that stood out about Grace that makes her a successful wedding planner:

    1. Detail Oriented - There were so many checklists and “to-do’s” that we asked Grace to follow up on. She followed through every task we threw at her and proactively updated us on her progress.

    2. Responsive - The week before the wedding day was the busiest. There were couple times we texted her at midnight in which she responded right away. There was also a time when we had to have a last minute 3-way call w/ a vendor in which she joined without hesitation. This responsiveness is really important in wedding planning especially when there are so many things to do and it’s easy to forget to follow through.

    3. Reliable and Hardworking - Grace was always willing to help out on any task, no matter how mundane or simple. Whether that meant offering to buy decor for us or help with printing name cards, Grace was always willing to help, making our lives a little less hectic.

    All in all, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Grace and her team to anyone who are in the process of planning a wedding.

    Coordinator and Day of Coordinator

    Grace was amazing! Extremely helpful and friendly, organized and kept in constant communication throughout. Honestly above and beyond. So many details that we wouldn’t have considered without her help, and we had the best time. I would STRONGLY recommend her to anyone, and already have! Thank you so much for everything!
