    Outstanding

Jamie was AMAZING!!! She has one of the kindest souls I've ever met. She genuinely cared for our wedding day and our overall vision. She took the time to make sure our ideas were heard and helped us pick and plan accordingly. The flowers were beautiful and really added that wedding venue glow I was aiming for. I cannot recommend Upsy Daisy enough. Thank you, Jamie!

Jamie is amazing! She helped me to stick with my budget, helped me pick flowers that were in season and would make our purple and gray theme pop, delivered them to our venue, and was incredibly friendly! I can't recommend her highly enough, and know you won't be disappointed in her work!

Jamie at Upsy Daisy Designs is amazing! I was going for a classic, timeless, romantic feel and she suggested garden roses, tulips, lilies and peonies in blush and creams. My bouquets and the bridesmaids bouquets were stunning! The colors were so soft and beautiful. She also made our center pieces, bouts and cake topper - all stunning! She was a pleasure to work with - very responsive and attentive. I kept making changes and requests along the way but she was so sweet and accommodating! I'd recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or any kind of event. She's a lovely person and a great vendor.

    Super nice and flexible

Jamie was so great! And I definitely dropped the ball on a couple of things and she took it in stride. My centerpiece vases ended up being nothing like I thought and she just went with it and still made it look good, and I ordered a totally different arch last minute She also did the greenery on the farm tables, and the stair rails, and then she did my bouquet and my bridesmaid's bouquet. I told her about what I wanted for my bridals and the bouquet I got was really really pretty, but then my photographer suggested that it be a little wider and after I gave Jamie some of that feedback and switched out one of the flowers, WOW did she deliver. It was gorgeous and I got so many compliments. The greenery on the tables was perfectly done, and the arch was so cute. She was just super sweet in general and very willing to talk through what you're looking for. Only thing i'd say is she's much easier to reach by phone than email, but I was very happy with her work.

Jamie was great and so responsive when I needed something. We were on a budget and she was able to put all the flowers I was wanting. The cake floral was my favorite & so full! A couple things that we were a little disappointed with was the greenery. I had asked for greenery around a couple center pieces, and the greenery that we got wasn't full at all. Another thing I asked for was petals spread out on each table. But we felt like there was 5-6 petals on each table. (which is small in comparison to 60 inch rounds) Overall, I do recommend Jamie just communicate specifics on what you want and she will receive!

    Bride Beware

I had really high hopes for Jamie. She started off seemingly helpful. I was referred to her by her cousin Caroline Wilks who was a friend at the time and a bridesmaid. I did not ask nor receive any discounts based on this referral I was just doing a local business a favor and of course wanted to get a great florist. Jamie stopped communicating for weeks at a time multiple times during the planning process. I had to double email her ie more than once a week, or get her cousin Caroline to ask her to reply to me. The only day she was super attentive was our first zoom call and then the day she wanted the money. I gave her every detail except for the creative vision. I told her the flowers i wanted and those that i definitely did not want. She kept making quotes and was not updating the info of what I said I did not want. I felt like I was going to be forced to take flowers I did not want. I specifically asked for roses and even the last month before the wedding I had to ask again for roses to be included. Why?

I had to go over details to reiterate what we wanted several times. I was gracious because I figure people get busy she has a family etc etc. and she has kids. I guess my graciousness was taken as a weakness because then she stopped caring much at all.

She showed up over an hour later than the *cutoff time* for any vendors for the wedding and instead of reaching out to the church contacts I gave her she TEXTED ME... the bride... as I was getting ready to walk down the isle. She said she was stuck behind a train and was going to be a little late. She lives 2 hours away and didn't plan for that I guess? Super confusing. She was over an hour late past when the vendor deadline time is which was 130pm. I quite literally was like wait i dont have a bouquet to walk down the isle and she had just entered the church and ran up with it. The flower girl was to have a flower ball she did not get that at all. She had to use the toss bouquet so she didnt look awkward walking down the isle with nothing.

My aunts and uncles, my now mother in law, my now father in law did not get their bouts or corsages respectively and they were to get them. After the ceremony and before the reception I asked her where they were and why they did not get them. She said "I did not know who they were". Never has a florist known the faces that match with the names of your family unless they specifically asked for pictures of them which I could have gladly provided. She could have asked the church wedding coordinator or literally just said their names out loud. Nope, nothing.
no effort. I asked her to make it right and hand them out at the reception which was next door about 300 ft away she refused. I asked her again she said well " I am wearing yoga pants and a tshirt so I dont want to go in there I will be embarassed". I tried to tell her no problem what you're wearing and please just hand them out and she said she would. This was all going on while I was taking my professional photos outside after the wedding! Why again was she bothering the bride with this? She could have consulted anyone. Anyhow, she said she'd do it. I have video and photo evidence she never did any of that. I ended up finding SOME of the corsages and boutineers sitting on a table in the reception in a plastic tupperware container. How embarrassing! I had to hand them out myself and then make apologies to those who never received one due to her negligence.

The next thing she did during my professional photos was that she blamed her lateness on someone telling her the wedding didn't start until 4pm while all contract data, all meetings, and all provided info between us was for 230 wedding with a 130 vendor arrival time deadline. We went over this information for months. The only person who even knew her name other than the church was her cousin Caroline. No one on church staff would have told her the time was changed as it never changed my wedding was at 2:15pm. Furthermore, the info forms from the church said the same.

I definitely am not a fan of being lied to or unprofessional behavior. She showed up in a Tshirt and yoga pants which would not be a problem per se until she used it as an excuse to not do what my contract stated she would do.

She didn't provide the flowers on the bridal table she says she forgot or ran out of time. Heard different answers on this from her. She didn't provide the right flowers on the tables at the reception hall or the right amount of them. She and her cousin took my bridal bouquet without telling me from the reception hall and said that Jamie would help me preserve them but later she said she could only give referrals for this starting at $500! Their attempt to dry the flowers ruined them.

The centerpieces were to have 4 flowers minimum in the bud vases and this did not happen.
The bridal table was ivy and was supposed to have purple and white flowers in it. More than 3/4 of the flowers that were to be in it were missing. I was still charged for this of course even though it was incomplete.

I have emailed her multiple times, and even text messaged her with space in-between the messages being relaxed and professional with her but to the point that we need to get this handled. Her only reply was that my wedding day is over and therefore her contract is over. That is incorrect.

She did not provide items that she charged me for and did not provide services as outlined in the contract. She's ghosted me. Right after the wedding she told me the contract is complete despite not providing multiple parts the contract that she owes me a refund on but refuses to refund anything she left off so basically I paid for things I never got. Highly disappointed.
I have asked nicely 5 times to hear back from her and for refunds of items not provided per the line item invoice and contract we both agreed too. I have heard nothing. Can't believe it. Especially since this was our big day.
I do not know how someone who claims to be a Christian and a professional florist can do this to someone and then not try to rectify it.
Highly disappointed. If you are going to use this person I would suggest maybe for a funeral but not a wedding unless you want to be left out in the cold on your big day.
Not worth the money I spent $$$$

    Floral Regret

Jamie, while a very nice person, was not a good fit for us. When we first met up, she was full of great ideas and seemed very willing to work within whatever budget needs we had. We are small business owners, so we are on a limited and (somewhat) unpredictable budget. Her initial quote was significantly too high for us, and once we asked to tailor it back, we began having issues. But we'd already given her a deposit, so we continued on. We couldn't seem to get a response for days on end and she seemed to get more and more irritated with us each of times we asked to make an adjustment to the quote, eventually telling us, "I need to make money off of this deal, too". We understand that this is a business- but at that moment, be stopped feeling like clients, and began feeling like simply a paycheck.

We had already paid her half of her fee, so we kept her on when our date was postponed due to a family emergency. The week of the wedding, the beginning of the Coronavirus issue had started. I will say this, Jamie did not back out, which we so appreciated. Our venue and plans changed, so her original design had to change too, and we did appreciate her ability to work "on the fly".

However, for the (almost) $1900 we paid her, we absolutely believe we were not delivered anywhere near the product or services what we paid for. Our original plan included 14 centerpieces, a 10 foot pergola over the ceremony site, a 24 foot staircase banister, etc. The home we held the wedding in had one staircase banister (approx. 15 ft), our centerpieces were reduced down to 3, and our ceremony site was a 8'x12' foyer. All in all, the scale and site downsized significantly. Surely, we would be just covered in flowers, right? WRONG!

In spite of having such a downsizing (and in spite of being very clear to her from the beginning that we did not want a lot of greenery), we felt like we got almost ALL greenery on the day of. Another giant issue? There were flowers literally falling of the walls DURING THE CEREMONY. She chose to use sticky tack to adhere things to the wall...in a 100 year old home. While it did not work in these specific spots, it worked too well in some spots. We had to ask her to return the next morning to remove the tack that we couldn't without damaging the walls.

She also did not make my toss bouquet. My wedding planner and her assistant put together some of the loose flowers Jamie had dropped in a vase on the sign in table, wrapped a ribbon (that I brought for the rehearsal dinner the night before), and created a bouquet for me to toss.

In the reception hall, random buds and greenery were sticky tacked to the wall, haphazardly and seemingly without rhyme or reason. And she only decorated one of the four walls of the room in this minimalistic "design".

We contacted her afterwards, detailing all of our concerns. Her response was that we should be happy that she showed up at all, as "She didn't have to". After A LOT of debate, photos, and documentation regarding what was ordered vs what was delivered, she refunded us $100 of the almost $1900 we had paid her, and called it a "good will" gesture.

Overall, we did not have a good experience with Upsy Daisy Designs.
