Book her now!!! Best decision we ever made!
@Uptownandmore https://uptownandmore.com/ It just doesn't get any better than Heather Shepke and her husband Nicholas; and I seriously mean that. Heather is everything you could ever want in a photographer + more. Her husband and partner, Nicholas is an absolute gem and a killer videographer. The combo of them is guaranteed to get you photo and video you will cherish forever at an affordable price that most budgets can afford. Since 2016, Uptown & More has been ranked EVERY year as The Knots 'Best of Weddings' photographers, among several other awards. I had features/body parts I was a little self conscious about and she was able to help me pose in ways that made me feel so confident; while still capturing the most beautiful candid moments. Even better is that her turn around time is so quick! I had 40 edited sneak peak pictures from my wedding about 10 days after our big day. FOURTY! She also did our engagement pictures and we were so impressed with those as well. Heather and Nick split their work between Georgia and Florida depending on the time of the year. If you're looking for a great team then this is who you want!! -

User2484708 Sent on 12/29/2015If you're looking for affordable photography for your wedding or other event, I highly recommend Uptown Downtown Photo, Video, and More. When I first found the website I loved that they offered a variety of packages that specifically fit my needs. This was not something I was able to easily find with other vendors. Heather was great with communicating back and forth, which was amazing because I did not live in the area. On the wedding day, Heather was incredibly punctual and patient (as I was less punctual). She interacted phenomenally with my family and guests when needed and got some awesome shots! The rest of the time she was so discrete I didn't even realize she was still taking pictures. As someone who feels like they are not the most photogenic, she made me feel incredibly comfortable and less camera shy. Even when I was unsure of what pictures I wanted, she took control and gave great direction to everyone. She was quick and efficient and the photos came out beautifully! Heather is so personable and has such a fun personality, I strongly recommend using her for all of your photo and video needs! -
User2042088 Sent on 02/17/2015We still have some time till our wedding (10/24/15) but it's been an absolutely pleasure working with Heather thus far. She provides more than wedding photography!! We recently did our engagement photos and Heather put together a whole theme not your typical stand and pose looks. My Fiancé and I had a great time laughing and truly enjoying the moment while she took photos. Great memories for us to cherish and amazing photos for us to keep! The "& more" to their name has exceeded our expectations as she continues to go above and beyond!!! She is soo attentive and no request seems to big to ask. Her creativity is limitless! I highly recommend this company as you'll get amazing quality service and is worth every penny spent!!! Sooo thankful we choose to hire Uptown Downtown Photo, Video, & More. When we looked at their website, we learned that they also offered video services, a photo booth and DJ services! After meeting with Heather and Nick, we loved their commitment and attitude and booked the DJ and photo booth as well as photography! We stayed in contact regularly before the wedding because they wanted to ensure that they provided everything we wanted to make our day perfect including certain pictures that we may want and, of course, the reception music. The day of the wedding went flawlessly. They were prompt and professional and FUN! Our pictures turned out so good. Kim did an awesome job as the DJ and MC and Leah made sure everyone had a great time in the photo booth. We loved every aspect of Uptown Downtown services and would highly recommend them to everyone in the area! Thank you for a perfect day! -

due to traffic and timing, missed the the makeup session on the day. The photos turned out great and she was entertaining to watch as she took the shots. -

Best of all they are a all-in-one service with the cutest photo-booth & totally amazing props; plus, they also have a DJ. I couldn't ask for a easier, smoother and better experience. I highly recommend Uptown Downtown for any event.

User2013208 Sent on 01/17/2015I am new here in the States; to arrange a wedding without my family, friends or anybody willing to help me around would be a given disaster. I only had 3 weeks before the wedding and I haven't had a solid thing going on for it. Until I UPTOWN DOWNTOWN Photography responded back to my inquiries. The first time I spoke with Ms. Heather I felt like I got a friend in her--- she knew exactly how stressful a wedding could be. She was prompt when I requested for a quote, and even threw in really good deals to complete a very competitive package!!! Hiring UPTOWN DOWNTOWN PHOTOGRAPHY is like hiring a photographer for the price of two. They were there for the whole duration of the event! I'm really thankful to Ms. Heather and Mr. Nick for going out of their way to make their clients feel comfortable, and for being really, really friendly. You would never feel awkward working with them because they're that cool. I definitely would hire them again for our next life event. Baby shower perhaps? :))
