  John and the band from Uptown Music did a great job keeping the audience involved, we received many compliments on the band. John helped during the decision process by getting the whole band together for a private demo, helping us plan out the flow of the reception, and keeping the everyone dancing, I was blown away by the quality of the band and the affordability. You can tell the band has played together for a long time because they groove!

  The band, Uptown Music, was truly amazing! Every song that we requested whether it was an oldie or something new, they knew, and/or learned and played! So many people came up and raved about how great they were!!!! We had people on the dance floor all night long! Definitely a great choice for our wedding!! :)

  Amazing band! They sounded even better at our wedding than they did in their music samples on You Tube. The music selection was awesome, and the dance floor was full all night. While in the bathroom, my father overheard several guests talking about what a great band we had. We were so impressed! The only issue is that you need to be careful how you schedule their breaks, to ensure it fits in your reception schedule nicely. But, overall, I do not think we could have found a more talented band with great party music.

  Uptown Music did a great job at our reception - I wanted it to be a big party and they made that happen! They played a wide variety of music and also included a DJ at no extra charge for certain songs we requested. I wanted to do an upbeat dance with my mom that incorporated my sister and MIL and they made it flow so nicely! They understood exactly what we wanted with very little direction. Let this band do its thing and it will be a great party!

  The band did a stupendous job at my New Year's Eve wedding. We got many compliments from our guests about the great dance music. The singers were topnotch, and I would recommend the band to everybody!
