  The Urban Stems wedding services were relatively new when we started to plan our wedding. We went to an expo and were really impressed by the high quality and convenience of the service. The process involved choosing a customize-able package from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres and arranged centerpieces or bundles of raw cut flowers and greenery. If your wedding is in DC or the immediate area, they can drop it off right at the venue. Ours was a little outside of their area (Leesburg, VA) so they dropped it off at our home before we left. That was a smooth process because they packaged everything up for easy storage and transportation. I think this service is best for people who want the ease and convenience of set packages rather than picking out each of the varieties of arrangements.

  Kevin delivered my flowers to my work which is where my client had sent them. Unfortunately we are closed on Mondays so he called me & then came a few blocks down on his bike to bring the flowers to my apartment! What incredible service! He was so pleasant and sweet & acted like it was totally normal to go out of his way for a delivery! In a world of Average Service, Kevin totally shocked me and made my day by being extremely professional and helpful & even going above and beyond of what is expected! My flowers are STUNNING - I am a plant lover and have never seen such beautiful flowers delivered. My day is made!

  Kevin delivered my flowers to my work which is where my client had sent them.   I was looking for a beautiful and seasonal, but simple, hassle-free and low-cost option for wedding bouquets, and these guys were exactly it. They worked with me over the phone to understand what I was looking for and if we were a good fit, then Neil moved to email to send me images of the different bouquet options (their wedding website may be up by now, do check!). There's a limited number of seasonal options, and they are available in a smaller and a larger size, and the stems can be wrapped in a white satin ribbon. That's pretty much it - no frills, no customized options, no hassle. The 2 bouquets I ordered (for myself and MOH) were beautiful and fresh, and delivered to my house right on time the morning of the wedding. This was the easiest vendor we worked with - absolutely recommend them and hope they continue expanding this service!

  UrbanStems did a great job putting together the bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding. We were hoping to find pretty flowers for a reasonable price and we looked no further than UrbanStems. They were very accommodating to help us figure out what the best choice would be for our wedding flowers - you can tell they care about their customers and want the flowers to be a success! We went back and forth a few times before finalizing the order and from there it was so easy - the day of delivery was perfect, the flowers arrived with more than enough time and in great condition. Would recommend to anyone - and not just for weddings!

  I didn't give myself a floral budget because I'm allergic to flowers. But, I still really wanted to have bouquets for myself and my wedding party of seven. As someone who has worked with UrbanStems before & loves using them personally, I reached out and spoke with Neil on their team who handles Special Events & Initiatives. We spoke on the phone first to go over what I was thinking for florals and my wedding colors. Then, we moved exclusively to e-mail which was great for me to keep track of everything. It was so easy - it was just like ordering a regular UrbanStems bouquet to send to a friend. Neil kept me up to date on what would be available in mid-October (and what arrangements were coming up that weren't yet on the website). We set up delivery, just like you do for any other UrbanStems order - I delivered the order (8 bouquets!) to a bridesmaid's home and it arrived the day before my wedding, right on schedule. (I'd like to note that I did have the option of picking them up at their offices, which is also a nice option!) My friend spruced up the bouquets, added foraged leaves from her own yard, and wrapped some ribbon around the stems; she brought them to the hotel the next morning.
  
  The bouquets were beautiful - and if you have ever received an UrbanStems bouquet, you know exactly what I mean. These bouquets were in so many pictures and they look vibrant.
  
  If you're not a big flower person, or you're like me & allergic, or you're really just trying to figure out a cost-effective way to have some florals or bouquets, you will not be disappointed with UrbanStems. They're so easy to work with and low-stress. I'm not sure if they're venturing into the wedding space, but even if they didn't - I would still recommend just ordering the arrangements you like, setting up the delivery, and having a beautiful picture-perfect bouquet show up at your door.

  Warning!! 0 Stars if I could

  0 stars if I could! Do yourself a favor, and forget about UrbanStems. I am not sure how they are so highly rated on here...
  
  I came across a blog post from a bride who used UrbanStems as a way to ask her bridal party to be a part of her special day. After reviewing the post many times, I was sold! I was so excited to have this be the way I asked my own dearest friends to be in my bridal party. Unfortunately, UrbanStems completely disappointed me. I will never be ordering from them again, and will do my very best to make sure anybody who thinks about ordering from them, is discouraged.
  
  1) I received an email the day before delivery saying that an inbound shipment of the bouquet I ordered (specifically for this occasion, I wanted all white, so I ordered the Buttercream bouquet) was delayed, the on-hand bouquets were already spoken for, and that they wouldn't be able to do a Buttercream for 1/4 of my orders. They offered a free "upgrade" to a different Bouquet, which I was unhappy with. I emailed asking if they would be willing to upgrade to Peonies instead because it was a good second choice for the vibe I was trying to go for (and the same price as the offered "upgrade". Apparently, it was too late. I was upset at the comment that the "on-hand bouquets were already allocated" because I placed my order well in advance, I feel like priority should have been given in chronological order. They offered a 25% refund, which I did not feel was enough, but decided to drop the issue and just be done with the interaction.
  
  2) All 4 of the bouquets I had ordered had significant browning when delivered. They were also a little wilted and barely had enough stems to make the bouquets look half-decent. For how expensive they were, you would think they would look like all their marketing pictures or at least a nice arrangement.
  
  3) One of the bouquets (not the replacement) did not look at all like the pictures on the website or the other bouquets of the same style that was delivered.
  
  4) None of the notes were handwritten, which is not a huge deal but added to the disappointment. UrbanStems brags about their handwritten or AI handwritten notes, and these notes were clearly just a basic font from a printer.
  
  The cherry on top was that after multiple back and forths with customer service, being told that all of my deliveries had passed quality review, among other assurances from UrbanStems about why they were in the right, they refused to refund my order. Eventually, they offered a less than 20% refund and at this point, I just hope that my review, comments on social media, and efforts to reach out to their influencers, convince people to go elsewhere for their flower delivery needs.
  
  The bottom line is that UrbanStems is extremely OVERPRICED and the flowers that do get delivered are POOR QUALITY. UrbanStems is NOT worth the money, headache, or disappointment. They ruined what was supposed to be a sentimental experience for me and my bridal party. Absolutely ruined it.
