  Beautiful and Delicious Cake!

  We were so happy with the cake Vanilla Sugar Bakery made for our wedding! They were very easy to work with, quick to respond to emails. The cake came exactly as discussed and was both delicious and beautiful! Very affordable, as well. Delivery was on time and without any issues. Would recommend!

  SO tasty!!!

  We got a two-tiered cake and so many cupcakes for our dessert table.. and they were delicious. We actually ordered too late for delivery, but they were able to accommodate a pickup order so we went with that. Everything we got looks amazing and tasted fabulous!

  Oh my goodness!!! We ordered a cutting cake from Norma which was beautiful and just what we wanted! We only took a bite because we are freezing it for our first anniversary -BUT I wish I ate more!
  We decided on cupcakes as the dessert for our guests and boy am I happy we did! We ordered 50 more cupcakes than our guest count and they were all gone! People couldn't get enough! They not only did they look great, but they tasted even better! There are so many flavor options offered and every single one we tried was delicious. I would 100% recommend and will definitely use in the future!

  I would highly recommend Vanilla Sugar for your custom wedding cake. Norma was amazing and was able to take a image from pinterest and create our dream cake. Every detail was achieved in the cake, the cake pops, and mini cupcakes. Besides being beautiful, everything tasted amazing. Our guests raved about everything and that it was the best tasting wedding cake that they have ever had and I have to agree. Additionally, Vanilla Sugar was the only bakery that we could find that was willing to do a square cake. Thank you for making our dream a reality!

  Vanilla Sugar Bakery is amazing! They did our wedding cake and grooms cake. For the groom's cake I had a bit of a special request. I wanted to incorporate 2 of my husbands favorite things and asked if they could create an R2D2 in a chicago blackhawks jersey. It came out so great! For not having any photos and just ideas of what i was looking for, they nailed it! The husband loved it. And the wedding cake turned out gorgeous and exactly like i described of how I wanted it. And not to mention the flavor. For someone who is not a huge cake fan, the cake was so delicious! It was moist and just delicious! They were so great to work with and will definitely be a return customer for any future sweets purchases!

  Vanilla Sugar Bakery was not mine, or my venue's top pick for desserts. HOWEVER - after using them for our wedding, I fully believe they should be the number one option. There is a more popular bakery close by who don't even compare to Vanilla Sugar. My husband and I had tastings at both bakeries and Vanilla Sugar topped the other bakery by miles. We worked with Norma who was super helpful and answered all questions I had very quickly. We heard nothing but great reviews from our guests during and after our wedding. We had a dessert bar so our guests had a chance to taste all different types of sweets and every single one was great. We can't wait for our 1 year anniversary cake and will definitely stop by before then!

  They made our wedding cake (Cubs-themed) and did a fantastic job. They are reasonably priced and really are creative....and the actual cake tastes great ! We had a three-tiered cake with three different flavor cakes and each one was delicious.

  My original bakery changed owners (without my knowledge) so 1 month before my wedding I did a tasting and realized what I thought I was ordering was completely different & disappointing. I scurried to find a new bakery but I wasn't looking for cake. I wanted a chocolate explosion of moist, rich, brownie-like texture with a milk chocolate topping like a truffle in individual bites - call it a cake bomb, cake pop, cake ball, chocolate truffle - the name doesn't matter - what I found at Vanilla Sugar Bakery was BETTER than what I started with. This bakery is top notch and the girls who run it are absolutely wonderful. They accommodated me in my scramble & provided a product that was everything I hoped & wished for! If you are looking for cake, cupcakes, or in my case - an alternative to the traditional, this is THE place to go! Several of my guests, including my sisters are now regular customers! :-)
