Jeffrey (makeup) and Gina (hair) made my wedding morning and wedding day soooo relaxing! After trying out some other vendors for these services, and being so upset by my experience - these two were a GEM! They both ensured I was comfortable, happy, and feeling like an elevated version of myself for my wedding. I cannot recommend them enough!Varuna Aveda Salon Spa's reply:

Perfect Bridal Hair + Makeup!
Varuna Aveda was such a great choice for my wedding hair and makeup! They were so responsive to all my questions (of which there were very many :D ), and did an incredible job for myself, my mother and mother-in-law, and nine bridesmaids! My hair and makeup lasted all night-- about 12 hours in total!Varuna Aveda Salon Spa's reply:

Fabulous Wedding Service Experience
The makeup artist and hair stylists were professional, attentive, and did wonderful work! I was so pleased and they put me at ease with their safety measures. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you for making me look fabulous for my wedding day! -

Lauren went above and beyond to coordinate all of the bridal services. The morning/afternoon before my wedding was very relaxing. The staff is very professional. Both my hair stylist (Brittany) and makeup artist (Natasha) created such a fun experience for me. I’m very thankful that I chose this salon! All of my bridesmaids loved their services as well. -

Ashley Sent on 10/10/2018These ladies were absolutely amazing. The morning of my wedding felt like a day at the spa. Aromatherapy, chill music, natural products, and an incredibly professional staff--it honestly doesn't get better. My technical hairdo for our vintage-themed wedding held beautifully and everyone commented that I looked like a product of the 30's (the style traditionally took hours and loads of hairspray, but we did it in an hour and with natural hair products)...Brittany North did my makeup flawlessly. She matched me the lip color of my dreams, and created an organic look that I felt comfortable in-with smokey eyes that were ravishing. Any bride who appreciates fewer chemicals and a relaxing atmosphere, will absolutely adore their experience at Varuna Aveda.

Bethany Sent on 01/14/2018Varuna Aveda Salon worked with me to accommodate myself along with four members of my bridal party for hair and makeup. They helped me create a schedule for the morning for all of our services and stuck to the schedule we planned. They allowed us each to get the services we wanted and the quality of the service was amazing. From the extremely personable staff to the beautiful bridal up-do to the blowouts some of my bridesmaids received. The quality of the makeup is amazing and the application was great. Their stylist worked with me for exactly what I wanted. If I was not loving something they adjusted it.

Andy did a great job styling my very fine hair into a beautiful chignon (in a short amount of time!) that stayed up all night through the Maryland humidity. Brittany did a FABULOUS job with my makeup. It looked very classy and natural, and my mascara never once dripped :). Thanks, Varuna! -
User2398419 Sent on 10/29/2015I booked Varuna Aveda for hair and makeup before my engagement session, and I loved the salon. I thought my hair was a little expensive, but the girl who worked on me did an amazing job and my curls held all day long. Kris did my makeup, and he knew exactly what I was looking for, and I loved it. The products they used were wonderful, the salon itself was quiet and tranquil, and if I hadn't already booked my hair and makeup for my wedding, I would be bringing my wedding party here.

User1725747 Sent on 07/22/2014Salon was great for the day of wedding prep! Heather (hair) was awesome. I did a trial the weekend before with her which made the day of a breeze. My updo lasted ALL night (even through dancing) and it even looked good the next morning when I took out the pins! All my bridesmaids looked great, too. Brittany (make up) was also amazing. My only complaint is that the salon did not have any fake eye lashes (they were out) and I really wanted to wear them for my wedding. Bummer!
