  I contacted Vel-Mar events for help with the decoration portion for my wedding. Within 5 minutes of our first meeting, she already had turned my vision to the next level. During the planning, Keila was always accessible and quick to respond to any of my questions, concerns, or requests. It was always about our vision and what we wanted. The day of the event, everything was amazing! Every little detail was thought of and executed perfectly. Nobody would have done a better job with our wedding!

  The prior customer is only venting because i offered to set the rentals up for a fee but she chose to use someone else who didn't do their job. Per the text message I received the reception did not start until 6:00. That was plenty of time to set them up. As far as the chair covers being wrinkled, they are spandex chair covers that stretch to fit the chairs and no wrinkles ever show up after installation. We tried for a resolution but the customer wanted 100% of the rental fee back. We delivered the items and the customer chose not to use us to set them up. My work speaks for itself.   I can not say enough about Keila and Vel-Mar Events. Keila helped me plan my daughter's wedding and she also coordinated the event. I had an idea about what I wanted the centerpieces to look like, but Keila added some beautiful extra touches and made the tables and centerpieces look amazing! I had an idea of what I wanted the reception to look like, but Keila used her creativity and brought the entire look together.
  
  Keila is a great planner/coordinator and my daughter's day would have not been perfect without her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a planner/coordinator. In addition, the quality of her rentals (china, water glasses, champagne glasses, vases) is impeccable and affordable.

  Keila is amazing! She exceeded my expectations when it came to the decor. My flower arrangement were gorgeous and the best was my bridal bouquet!!! I sent her a pic of what i wanted and that's exactly what she provided!! Loved everything!!

  Mrs keila with vel-mar events was amazing! She did my wedding decor on Easter Sunday of this year I was very thankful for her help on a National holiday. She was very punctual With time , worked with me the whole time by making small payments up until the wedding day and made me feel very at ease while my bridal party and I got ready she was setting everything up beautifully. I am very grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone with any budget or taste. Thanks again keila!!!!

  Keila did such a wonderful job transforming our reception space. She was very quick to respond to a number of requests and questions and also allowed us to come into her office to set up a sample table to see how our linen selections would look and I'm so glad we did that because we ended up making a few changes that really helped put everything together on the day of the wedding. Keila was also very flexible as I ended up calling her on the day of the wedding requesting 100 more chair covers for the ceremony chairs. Keila wasn't hired to set anything up at the ceremony but she was so nice and offered to do it last minute with no issues. The pictures really do not do justice to how beautifully she put the everything together. I will admit however that I was slightly concerned when I first booked her as she e-mailed me a couple times with incorrect info, however, this was all when the wedding was far away and I was asking a lot of questions so I could see how it could have been confusing. By the time the wedding came, she had everything organized and it really turned out beautiful at the wedding. I'm very happy I went with Vel-Mar events and would recommend them to any bride!

  If there were zeros listed I would have chosen them to most properly rate this company. My fiancé and I thought we had a vendor who would be reliable- we were assured great service, affordability... We were told directly that there aren't instances where they have to tell a bride hey can't help them- they work with all kind of budgets and are a strong team that will come through for us. During the time we spent working out the contracting there was consistently things missing, follow up was pathetic- when she did follow up it was only with my fiancé after he would hound her, she never answered any email I sent her. We assumed we were secure and ready to get in touch with her to secure payment and have her come with us to the site on Saturday and got a voicemail canceling with us because they'd rather commit to bridal expos instead of weddings despite all the quotes given out- if I could play her voicemail with how cheery she sounds to ruin someone's day you'd be disgusted. Our wedding is exactly 3 months away- how can you call and leave a voicemail to cancel as if it's no big deal? This is all besides mentioning the poor attitude and tone when having a discussion with this person. How very selfish and rude. I guess ultimately we dodged a bullet because she very well could have just not shown up day of the wedding. So this is just to help you dodge a bullet too.
