  Dearest Minoti, we, the parents, wanted to express our gratitude for the amazing work you did at Ishani and Adithya's wedding. We are so glad that they selected you to be their wedding coordinator. Every little detail was addressed and the timing and flow of events was impeccable. You took care of every little detail and managed all the things that we did not see or hear about. Your personality, sincerity and can-do attitude is just amazing. It was wonderful to see such a young girl carry off the entire event so well. Everyone was talking about the timing of events and how things moved seamlessly from one event to another.   Amazing Experience!

  Minoti Mehta and Vermillion Weddings were an absolute asset to our wedding planning journey. The main reason I chose Minoti as a wedding planner was because she was able to relate to me on a personal level and understood my vision for my wedding. What began as a routine wedding planning process, encountered several twists and turns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Minoti was always kind but honest, and generous with her time in helping us troubleshoot different options we had to ensure we were still able to have the wedding celebrations of our dreams, when we were safe and able to do so. We were lucky enough to have her for the full planning process, including day-of coordination, and this is what I would recommend to any couple that is starting the wedding planning journey. She provided nuanced guidance along the way, listened to our questions and concerns, and also navigated the complexities particular to South Asian weddings with ease. Most importantly, throughout it all, she ensured that my wedding vision was not compromised. Our wedding celebrations were fantastic and Minoti and her team were an absolute critical aspect of our events- they were prompt, attentive, and ensured that not only us, as the couple, but also our parents and siblings were well taken care of.   If you are looking for a wedding or event planner, look no further. We had used Vermilion Weddings and Events for my brother's Indian wedding and I cannot rave more about the experience. The events were so well planned out and the minute-to-minute schedules were so thoughtfully put together, that, without Minoti and her team, the wedding and reception would have been tremendously difficult to manage.
  
  But what I would like to focus on in this review is not the 'general' wedding planner expectations, which Minoti and her team excel at. What I would like to focus on are Vermilion's unparalleled ability to adapt to situations while displaying such a polite and reassuring demeanor. We had a problem at the Reception that Minoti and her team immediately adapted to and solved, on the spot. They provided clear direction to all parties involved and worked so well to calm the minds of the Bride and Groom's parents, who of course are extremely stressed during this time. Additionally, they worked diligently to ensure the Reception ran smoothly and, even though a last-minute problem occurred, I can say with ease that they had succeeded in ensuring the Reception went smoothly. When you are looking for a wedding or event planner, one of the key qualities I hope you are looking for is an ability to adapt to changing and stressful and new situations, which Minoti and her team did phenomenally. Even greater than that, they did so with a positive and professional demeanor, especially during the most stressful times.
  
  Overall, it was a privilege to work with Vermilion on their successful planning of an Indian wedding and reception. Their exceptional organizational skills, flexibility, creativity, and eye for detail were invaluable to the success of our events. It is important to remember that the event coordinator is not just for the Bride and Groom, but also for each of their respective families, as a wedding "takes a village". Vermillion Weddings was a great choice for us.

  If you're looking for a wedding planner, whether it be for the whole process or even just the month of, i would highly recommend using Minoti and her team. They were professional throughout the entire process and had the mental toughness to solve the most complicated problems as they arised throughout the month.
  
  Indian wedding planning is not fun at all, even if you think you're prepared the month of or the month before, things just love to crash and burn without notice. The services provided by Vermilion Weddings, specifically Minoti, went above and beyond our expectations, as she was constantly available to talk through every issue that came about. She constantly made sure that the vendors knew their roles, responsibilities, timelines, and had our requirements top of mind. As we started moving closer to the wedding, we had three different vendor cancellations, and the second we told Minoti, she had a new vendor to replace the old one within 24 hours at the exact same price. Days later, the hotel didn't put out enough tables for our reception, and Minoti's ability to solve the issue on the spot was pretty impressive.

  My husband and I got married in August 2017 in San Francisco. While my husbands family resides in northern Cali, both of us live in NYC. While researching for a planner, I was looking for someone whom I can completely trust in their expertise and able to create the vision that I have for my wedding. I was please to find Minoti who was recommended to me from one of my friend and immediately contacted her. She was very kind and listened to everything we had to say and went above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns we had prior to making a commitment. Not to mention, she is very reasonably priced for her services when compared to several other planners in the area. I felt complete confidence in her even though I had never met her. She was very thorough and had an agenda as to not get distracted or off track on the subject - for every phone conference we had with her. She had great vendors in mind and was extremely flexible to work with vendors she had never worked with before. Our conference calls became more frequent as the time got closer. She was always able to schedule around our work hours and the time difference between the east and west coast. I felt very comfortable to call her about concerns I had even if it was in the middle of the night for her (not that I did), but she will make you that comfortable with her. I appreciated her honesty and redirecting our options to fit within our budget.
  
  I cannot say enough good things about the service from her team during the sangeet/wedding days. They were there for me every step of the way! I felt very relaxed and able to enjoy the two days of my wedding without having to worry about what needed to be done. Minoti even made the extra effort to listen to any problems and concerns I had until the very last minute. What resonates the most about her in particular is her ability to problem solve.

  Five Stars, Two Thumbs up, and a Gold Medal would hardly suffice for the incredible work and effort put on by Minoti and her team at Vermillion Weddings. I can hardly begin to find the words to describe how incredible the team was in really helping us get everything together for that once in a lifetime, special wedding day! I had a traditional indian wedding, with events split into two days, and Minoti was absolutely critical to helping everything run smoothly. One of the most incredible feats was really making sure that every member of the wedding party, including the Bride, the Groom, the Bride's parents and the Groom's parents, were all on the same page. This was made extra easy with the walk throughs that she helped us coordinate with each venue. I'd be hugely remiss if I didn't mention that the Vermillion Weddings team also did an incredible job making sure that both the Bride & Groom were well fed. On both days of the festivities, the Vermillion team made sure to prepare us plates of food. It was that level of attention to detail & genuine care for the Bride & Groom that truly made the days! Minoti's expertise was irreplaceable and I genuinely could not imagine having the wedding without her. We opted for the month of coordination package, and true to her word, Minoti helped us coordinate MORE than I can even describe! Minoti really did wonders at assuaging all my pre-wedding anxieties and assuring me that all would go well. Sure enough, everything went incredibly well!

  We are so thankful to Minoti and the entire Vermilion team for helping us coordinate such a beautiful, fun and well organized wedding! I think any bride or groom can understand how stressful planning a wedding is. From big things like choosing out vendors, attending venue meetings to more minute things like choosing out decorations and songs, Minoti was there every step of the way. She is easily reachable, responsive and willing to help with any hurdle that comes in the way. She was calm in times of stress and willing to listen and solve any problem that came up during our 7 months of planning.
  
  Many couples who start to plan their weddings believe that they can do it on their own. Trust me when I say that you NEED a wedding planner.
  
  The things people take away from weddings are how fun it was, the djs music, the food and the beautiful decor...But the one thing that no one understand or even notices at the wedding is the wedding planners that are running around and making sure each one of these things gets done right and on time. The stress was completely taken off of both of us on the wedding day so that we can enjoy our big day. We were completely unaware of the outside stress factors. Vendors enjoyed working with the vermilion team as well!

  Perfection is what a wedding coordinator is hired for... But you get more then that with Vermilion! Polite, cordial, timely, great listener and always there to go above and beyond what's promised. All our events started on time and ended on time. Great job working with all our vendors and family that helped too. Everyone enjoyed working with Vermilion. All the pre event work was done to perfection!!! Will use for other relatives weddings and continue referring to friends too.

  Minoti was absolutely fantastic! She coordinated our wedding and sangeet, and we could not have been happier. She completely absorbed all the stress of coordinating all the vendors for both events. She assisted and provided valuable input in almost every decision made. Most importantly, we felt that she strongly protected our interest when dealing with all vendors.

  Can't say enough about our fab experience!

  We cannot say enough about Minoti & the entire Vermilion Weddings team. We talked to multiple wedding planners and after speaking with Minoti, there was no question she was the right fit to deliver on our fusion wedding. Minoti went above and beyond to ensure we honored our Indian and Jamaican cultures / traditions seamlessly, found incredible vendors to make our dream wedding come to life, and was always available to talk wedding or catch up.
  
  As our vision evolved, Minoti was very flexible in taking on additional coordination to ensure all of our events went off without a hitch. In all, she planned and coordinated our wedding (two back-to-back ceremonies plus cocktails and reception) and helped sort out logistics for events over the entire weekend. Our guests were so impressed with how organized entire event was - from receiving our invitations to attending our wedding to receiving our thank you cards.
  
  Throughout the planning process, Minoti was a calming force and always incredibly genuine in her support and encouragement. What we appreciated most about working with Minoti was her honesty - she was upfront when there was amazing progress AND when she had concerns or was experiencing challenges with vendors. She is kind, super easy to work with, and operates with admirable focus and determination. Minoti has become a dear friend and we would recommend Vermilion Weddings to anyone!

In all, she planned and coordinated our wedding (two back-to-back ceremonies plus cocktails and reception) and helped sort out logistics for events over the entire weekend. Our guests were so impressed with how organized entire event was - from receiving our invitations to attending our wedding to receiving our thank you cards.
  
  Throughout the planning process, Minoti was a calming force and always incredibly genuine in her support and encouragement.
