  When I went on the website for the first time and found the piece we had ordered, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for - something more detailed than anything I had even seen. I have a 2.4 ct. VVS1 asscher that was purchased from Blue Nile originally that was mailed to Victor which ended up going very smoothly. The experience you have with Victor and his staff is above exceptional and the result is something extraordinary with loads of detail. What was important to me is that Victor hand forges his platinum and to understand the difference you really need to see and handle the finished product - its like hot and cold in differences. He used the highest quality metals and diamonds and you can tell the difference in what is truly an heirloom quality piece. The prices are reasonable and expected for such high quality work. Would use Victor again for any speciality jewelry needs that requires something truly exceptional!

  Victor and Tim are both very responsive with emails. I trusted Victor to find a beautiful sapphire that fits my budget and he definitely delivered. The ring is exquisite. My fiancee and I both love it. The ring design makes it unique from anything we can find with local jewellers.

  Our initial communications were prompt but thorough. Victor and I had never met face to face, as I live in London, but he still gave me the time via phone & email to as if I were a shop customer. He paid great attention to the kind of ideas my fiancee-to-be liked in a ring, and then put his own design forward.
  
  The end result is a breath taking work of art. Truly a cut above rings I've seen around. I am see myself coming back for wedding bands pretty soon. Thank you for your excellent job.

  I first encountered victorcanera.com in my search for a rare, ideal antique cut cushion diamond. Victor had many of his signature antique cushions already in stock including a few that matched my criteria. There were photos and even a video that showed how brilliant this diamond was. It was quite fortuitous that I decided to purchase a diamond from victor because as it turns out, he also happens to be a master at designing and creating hand forged jewelry, a process that is not to be underestimated. I was expecting to purchase the diamond and take it somewhere else to be set in a custom setting but after reading all the excellent reviews about Victor online, I decided to work with him on a setting. I told him roughly what I was looking for, and provided him with a few photos of examples of what I was looking for. He then provided me with some additional photos of other settings to highlight certain design aspects that he suggested. We pieced together a concept and eventually agreed upon a design. He was incredibly patient with me during the planning process and educated me on some of the finer points in his jewelry making process. I was admittedly a little hesitant to place an order for a ring that I had not ever seen but in the end, he delivered an incredible work! In person, the ring is even more stunning than any photo or video could ever do justice! He is an absolute artist and a master craftsman, perhaps the only person you will find that makes his jewelry completely hand-forged. My fiancee now has a ring that she loves and has been highly admired by many. Thank you Victor!

  My boyfriend proposed with a Victor Canera engagement ring after seeing all of my Pinterest likes of Victor's designs. I've been a fan of Victor's for years!
  My fiancee proposed with a 1.5ct VC signature antique cushion in a halo. I think if anybody is looking for a halo, please do yourself a favor and stop looking and give VC a call. You will not be disappointed!
  It's been 3 weeks and I receive compliments on an almost daily basis on my ring. I've wanted a VC halo for so long and now it feels like a dream come true. Some things that are immediately visible to my eyes is the perfect proportion of the halo. The center diamond sparkles so much when I'm outside too. It's amazing. Thank you so much!

  My fiancé recently proposed with a round & pear-shaped trilogy ring from Victor Canera. I was wow’ed by the beauty of the gem and the workmanship of the ring. The 1.5 carat center diamond glistened wildly in the sun. I loved how Victor set the side stones so that the lovely pear-shaped side diamonds weren’t covered up. The ring is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend Victor Canera!

He did a wonderful job on my engagement ring, listened to all of our requests, provided us honest feedback, and gave us a 5-star customer service! I would recommend Victor not just for the perfect engagement ring, but any other jewelry pieces. I have seen some of his other work in person and they are amazing!

  Victor Canera is simply the best! I cannot say enough about the quality in craftsmanship he puts into each ring. My round, double edge Emilya engagement (anniversary) ring turned out more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Victor's assistant, Nicholas, was very responsive to the numerous emails I sent. I knew that I wanted a custom hand forged ring from victor so I contacted him. The email process was great and so was his help on the phone to choose a diamond. The end result was an amazing diamond that visibly outshines all other rings I have seen. I will use him again for other fine jewelry.

  Working with Victor was the result of several months of research into diamonds and settings. There were many choices but we ended up valuing quality and craftsmanship above all other aspects of the ring. It was also important to me to have a good relationship with a vendor that I trusted so that we can work together again in the future. The lifetime tradeup for his diamonds meant a lot in case we want to upgrade in the future. Overall when we put all the pieces together the decision to work with Victor felt right and when I saw the quality of the stone and ring, I was not disappointed. The optics of the Caneria Ideal Hearts stone is a thing of beauty - wonderful to look at in different lighting conditions. The pave work and platinum is also beautiful. The customization options can be overwhelming but Victor is good at giving you the + and - and letting you decide with little pressure.

  I have been on the hunt for a thin diamond eternity ring for my wedding band for a really long time. I went to a bunch of retail stores, scoured pictures online and nothing seemed to live up to my expectations. Everything else I saw seemed to have too much metal showing and/or felt really uncomfortable between my fingers. That's when I found Pricescope and found out about Victor Canera. His work was absolutely gorgeous and I knew he had to make my band. I was SO nervous about not being able to see the ring in person first or try one on to see how it felt, but with all the positive reviews online I took a leap of faith.
  
  Tim Bauman answered every single question I had. He even waited for me to buy some cheap rings of different sizes on Etsy so I could send down the ring that fit me best.
  
  When the ring finally came in the mail I could not have been any happier. Victor's work is so good, it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing an eternity band. The diamonds used are so sparkly. They are a glittery row of diamonds on my finger. It's my dream ring.

  Victor did an excellent job with our engagement ring. He even took the time to sit down and meet with me in person to answer a litany of questions that I had. He was very helpful and the ring looked amazing in the end. My fiancé and I were extremely happy.

  Victor is a pleasure to work with and creates amazing jewellery. Victor created an absolutely gorgeous engagement ring for my faiancee. I had many questions and ideas for the ring. Victor was patient, pleasant and provided his expert guidance throughout the process. The ring turned out as I had been imagining and looked even more beautiful in person than I thought possible. Until you see one of his pieces in person, it is hard to appreciate just how amazing his work is. The detail and precision of Victor's work is incredible.
  Tim, who handles such things as payments and updates was great to work with as well. Tim helped to put me at ease when I had a bit of an unnecessary scare during the shipment process.
  For anyone who is looking to have a custom piece of jewellery made, I can not imagine why anyone would select anybody other than Victor Canera.

  Victor is a pleasure to work with and creates amazing jewellery. Victor created an absolutely gorgeous engagement ring for my faiancee. I had many questions and ideas for the ring. Victor was patient, pleasant and provided his expert guidance throughout the process. The ring turned out as I had been imagining and looked even more beautiful in person than I thought possible. Until you see one of his pieces in person, it is hard to appreciate just how amazing his work is. The detail and precision of Victor's work is incredible.
  Tim, who handles such things as payments and updates was great to work with as well. Tim helped to put me at ease when I had a bit of an unnecessary scare during the shipment process.
  For anyone who is looking to have a custom piece of jewellery made, I can not imagine why anyone would select anybody other than Victor Canera.

  We visited Victor Canera in his shop in DTLA. Victor was friendly, not pushy at all, educating us on diamonds and jewelry. He helped my now fiancee to pick the ring of her dreams. We really appreciated that while he was easygoing, he gave us his opinion when asked for it. People should be aware that they don’t stock a lot of samples to show you. Some of the rings we were interested in were past works that he had done but we were shown high resolution videos of those designs. All of the designs are completely custom made just for you making it that much more special.
  
  We purchased a 1.30ct signature hearts and arrows diamond along with a design called the “Gabriella” solitaire. The diamond and engagement ring are both spectacular. Totally crystal clear... Two thumbs up, thank you!

  Exquisitely detailed hand-forged platinum jewelry. They have a particularly beautiful Harry Winston style Halo ring which we bought and love. If it is within your budget, I would reccomend no other but Victor Canera.

  I had the opportunity to work with Victor during January 2016 to create a bespoke engagement ring for my fiancé after I was referred to him by my diamond consultant. It turned out that Victor was exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend him to any and all of my friends and colleagues that are looking for diamonds or engagement rings.
  
  Since my fiancé and I used to work in the luxury industry, we have friends and former colleagues who currently work in Cartier and DeBeers who gave us great access and time to their internal sales tools and even the Iris diamond demonstrator machine from the DeBeers. In fact, after I proposed to my fiancé, since I purposely did not give her any of the specifications to the diamond on the ring that I purchased from Victor, she decided to take it to our friend's store who works at DeBeers so that she could have their sales team try to decipher the specifications from the diamond.
  
  At the start of the process, they thought they saw a couple of inclusions on the stone and tried to comfort my fiancé not to be disappointed as I should have bought the ring from them; however, their store manager then asked their store associates to thoroughly clean the ring and do a reassessment. After the cleaning, not only were the so-called inclusions gone, but they were able to give the diamond a rating very close to the one specified on the AGS certificate. To evaluate the cut, they put the ring into the Iris diamond demonstrator machine so that they check the cut quality of the diamond. That was when the store staff realized that the diamond they were evaluating was one of the best quality diamonds they had ever evaluated, whether it was from their inventory or brought in from a customer.
  
  I completely agree with the other testimonials regarding the benefits of Victor's level of quality and service. Thank you so much for your help, Victor! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  Victor is from a family of jewelers, and it shows. The ring he made is truly one of a kind. The diamond's unique shape combines the rounded edges of a cushion cut, with the rectangular shape of an emerald cut. As for the diamond pave around the gem and the band, it's ultra-thin and incredibly elegant—no wonder it's his specialty. And to top it all off, it was a great experience to work with him. He was very responsive and it was obvious that he takes pride in his work and wanted to make sure the ring not only came out well, but it made us happy.

After searching through many retailers my fiancé and I were thrilled to come across Victor Canera and his jaw dropping masterpieces! We were sold on the Canera Ideal Hearts diamond because of its flawless sunburst look. The impeccable details of the ring were outstanding, especially on the Emilya Halo. Victor pays special attention to all of the fine details that other retailers leave out which results in a truly unique and beautiful ring. This ring was even more gorgeous in person, my fiancé was over the moon when I placed it on her finger. I wouldn't recommend any other jeweler!
