    Wow! Villa Gilgal!!!!!!!!!
    Michael and I (Karen) thank you so much George for allowing us to host our wedding ceremony and reception at your stunning villa last Saturday. It was the perfect setting for our magical day, and an enormous heartfelt thank you to the superb staff and their incredible attention to detail and for making the whole family feel so incredibly at home throughout our entire stay.The sunset...OMG....I'm still in awe. The surprise in our room (flower petals all over) was so beautiful. Words can't explain how appreciative we are❤️❤️."What an amazing way to begin our married lives together at Villa Gilgal🤗🤗.." Special big up to Slim our butler he was superb👌👌. Thank you so so much....

    Picturesque

    My husband and I recently had our wedding at Villa Gilgal. We were blown away but the professionalism of the staff but most importantly the beauty of the property. We’ve gotten a lot of positive reviews from our guests about the breathtaking scenery of the property. We would definitely recommend Villa Gilgal to anyone getting married!

    Amazing Villa/Location/ and STAFF!

    Villa Gilgal is one of the greatest locations in Jamaica. My wife and I along with some of our family stayed at Gilgal for our amazing wedding and a short family vacation and it was the greatest decision ever that we chose this location. George made sure from inquiring about the property to booking to actually arriving and during our stay that it was nothing but amazing and provided us with “Endless Possibilities” the staff: Junior, Slim, Chef Dave, Fiona, Oneil and Brittany made sure we to make our entire stay extremely special and also made us feel like family….They were the BEST! They accommodated any and every need/request for all of us and always went above and beyond! Not only is this an amazing vacation spot but also a great location for a wedding and please see the photos attached that Villa Gilgal was a huge contributor in giving us our dream wedding. Thank you so much to George and all of you apart of the Villa Gilgal team!!!

    The Perfect Venue -

    Villa Gilgal is one of those hidden gems that you want keep to yourself but at the same time want to share with everyne because everyone needs to know how amazing it is.
    It is well kept with stunning, breathtaking views. The most amazing space and the most amazing staff that goes above and beyond expectations.
    The venue was perfect for my wedding and every single guest was asking how I found it, commenting on how amazing the place is and many stating that they have every intention to come back.
    I would highly recommend Villa Gilgal and I am looking forward to going back.

    Among the best Wedding Locations in Western Jamaica

    I have had the privilege of working at Villa Gilgal and with the team and I must say that the experience, the ambiance, the responsiveness and willingness of the team as well as the Sunset across the Caribbean sea will be a memory worth having for a lifetime.
    I would recommend anyone looking for "the perfect wedding Venue" to check out Villa Gilgal.

    It’s worth your money

    The experience was tremendous, property absolutely beautiful. It made my wedding look like it was in paradise. They helped and assisted with set up on the day of. Staff made my guest feel very welcome on wedding day and was very helpful. However, after celebration we could tell a slight change in attitude of one or two of the staff. We tried to be thoughtful that they were probably tired and tried to help them maintain the property by cleaning up after ourselves etc in hopes it would lighten up the atmosphere. I’m unsure if one of my family offended or what happened but we could tell a change in aura (less smiles; grace look). One in particular wasn’t as welcoming from the first day of arrival. My family mention having an “attitude”. Some felt as if because they were locals they weren’t treated with glee as if they were foreigners. This made us not tip as much as we intended to. But like I said there could be factors that I’m willing to look past because they still were professional and treated us with respect my husband and I enjoyed the property regardless. The owner was very considerate, understanding and was willing to make sure our accommodation and wedding went perfect and we had a terrific experience. He was willing to help outsource if need be. The property is multifunctional, clean, well maintained. Everyone was in awe and I’ve had people reached out to me to potentially book. I would return with my husband, I highly recommend. It’s private and give a very intimate experience and a plus is after your wedding you can go straight to your room and fall straight in bed. I did!!! It’s worth the money. Make sure you give your guest specific instructions on how to arrive as your GPS will take you to a different community.

    Worst wedding day ever will extort you

    Warning Do not Book with them ‼️‼️‼️ I booked this villa back in February for my wedding in August. After making 1500 deposit and receiving invoice receipt stating it’s been paid . Seem like all was goin well . Months went by I ask owner for new invoice for remaining balance. He then tells me we didn’t pay and have no records showing that. I send him every proof I had from bank statement, screenshot zelle transaction, and invoice receipt HE SENT ME . After a lot back n forth still not convinced I paid, he calls THE BANK on 3way ( which sooo unprofessional) to clarify that he didn’t receive my payment by time we got off phone the bank confirm with him he did receive the 1500 . he then starting arguing with bank he didn’t see on his end which seem like a lie . It seem like extortion. Now fast forward we came to visit the villa in may to do mock set up with planner food Tasting with chef. I’m not sure the once owner seen us he figure we had money . But once we came back we received a whole new bill different from price from the one we been receiving past few month. We got on conference to get understand why our bill went up extra 2,000. We try to come to understand but all he did was yell to top his lung would let us get word out .. just rude aggressive and disrespectful. Told us either we pay or can book somewhere else .. literally two weeks before my wedding had no other options . The extra fee was to cook there n SERVICE FEE . The past invoice there was never service fee on there . It seem like he was just making u stuff at this point to get more money . REMINDER THE 8,000 included nothing . No chair , table , no cook , security NOTHINGGGG WE PROVIDED EVERYTHING. The day of wedding the owner was no where to be found he seem like he was scared show his face because how rude disrespectful he was through whole journey. As we was getting ready to leave villa the day after wedding . He added extra 1500 to the bill because he stated we had 100 guest n only told him bout 80 ... this villa is a joke and will extort you. They need to do better business and hire new employees cause they way he handle me a female was soooo distasteful and unnecessary. He ruined my wedding day I will neverrrr recommend. You’ve been warned. THEY WILLL EXTORT YPU
