Shannon captured our Savannah wedding in Nov 2021 and it was the best decision we made! Her eye is impeccable and she is so easy to work with! Photography was the most important vendor to me because that is what you look back on from your special day and let me tell you she exceeded expectations. Do not hesitate to book with her, she is the best of the best!!! -

Our wedding planning process ended up taking close to 3 years and the *only* decision we didn't change or question (other than choosing each other, of course) was having Shannon at Vine & Light as our photographer. Hands down the best and most confident vendor decision we made. Not only was planning and working with Shannon leading up to the date an absolute dream, but she is the perfect balance of everything you could hope for on the day-of.
Shannon made us feel confident and calm through every moment she touched. During the ceremony we didn't even notice her taking photos and she caught so many sweet moments we would've forgotten about otherwise and she knows how to pose couples in a way that feels natural and turns out amazing. Her steady reassurance throughout the day was a gift in itself and when we got the pictures, we were absolutely blown away.
Here's the thing I'll say that make our pictures above and beyond: Shannon really takes the time to know and connect with her clients. She doesn't just want to take beautiful pictures - she wants to help capture and share your unique love story. While looking through our gallery, we were transported to how we felt in that exact moment, which is a testament to Shannon's vision. She doesn't just see a moment for a great picture, she SEES her clients in a way that truly shines a light on the little things. We'll treasure these photos and our relationship with Shannon forever. Can't recommend enough. -

Highly recommend Vine and Light!
My husband and I are so incredibly happy we decided on Vine and Light to be our wedding photographers! Shannon and Mark are beyond talented at what they do and they have an extraordinary way of capturing the sweetest moments without making any situation look forced. They provided the perfect amount of direction and it put us at so much ease working with them, because we knew all of the important moments throughout the day were being captured. Working with Shannon for our engagement shoot prior to the wedding also made it feel like a friend was taking our pictures once the big day arrived. We are truly grateful for the beautiful work of Vine and Light and will treasure our pictures for years to come! -

Angel Sent on 03/01/2018I was pretty particular about every detail of my wedding and photography was the most important to me. I did TONS of research. I seriously had excel spreadsheets of photographers haha I am so happy I chose Vine & Light. Shannon and her husband, Mark, were so great to work with. They are so sweet and Shannon goes out of her way to be helpful. She was so responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the year. We had an engagement shoot with her and Mark and they were so fun to work with. She gave us great direction and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Same thing on the wedding day. They did a beautiful job capturing the details of the day and we couldn't be happier with our wedding pictures. Shannon is also a writer. She is one of the few wedding Instagrams I will definitely not stop following now that I'm married! She is so eloquent and she always posts beautiful pictures and stories. Seriously, you should follow her! We thoroughly enjoyed our time working with Shannon and Mark. They are a beautiful couple and they do beautiful work. -

Not only did we love her personality, professionalism, and kindness, but her pictures were everything we could ever have dreamed of! And on top of everything, I still get compliments from guests on how great she was both at the wedding and from seeing her pictures. I recommend her 100%!!! -
User1280567 Sent on 08/10/2013I couldn't possibly say enough glowing things about the entire V&L team! Shannon is not only an amazing photographer, but a fantastic person and artist as well! She worked with my fiance and I on multiple separate occasions to help make our engagement shoot and our wedding photos everything we could have asked for and so much more, including assisting me with things that had absolutely nothing to do with photography! She is always quick to respond to email or phone and showed up to every meeting we had, a solid 15 minutes early. Our engagement shoot was fun and laid back and there's no doubt in my mind that our wedding would not have gone nearly as smooth as it did without her there. She and her assistant Jessie seemed to be in about 5 billion places at once and she sent us a sneak preview of the photos, the morning after the wedding. Amazing amazing amazing! If you don't have Shannon as your girl, you're truly doing yourself a disservice. -

Her and her assistant were able to capture so many moments of our special day even though my (small) dress mishap put us a little behind schedule. I am so happy we booked her for our special day! -

Alexis Sent on 11/02/2013The single most important thing I learned during the madness that is wedding planning is to go with vendors and partners whom you trust. The ones who give you the positive gut feeling after you've met them or chatted with them. Shannon is that one! I knew that, with her, I wouldn't be worried about my memories being captured on our big day. Her work is absolutely beautiful, and she is wonderful to work with. She is responsive, accommodating and an expert at what she does. Again, we trusted her and knew we were in great hands. She lets you be you in the best light. Book her!
