  Amazing violinist!

  Vicki and her team did an amazing job at our wedding! Their music selection was substantial, and they were even able to play a song or two outside of their portfolio for some songs that meant a great deal to us. They were professional and worked with our singer to make sure the experience was everything we were looking for. They put on a wonderful performance and they really helped make our wedding day feel special to both us and our guests.
  

  Vicki and her team did an amazing job at our wedding!   September 2020 Wedding - Violin Solo

  Vicki did a wonderful job playing at our wedding on September 4, 2020. She played for both the ceremony and for cocktail hour. She made it easy to choose the music for the ceremony. She had a large list of song choices and was able to play others that were not listed. It was very easy to work with and always responded to emails quickly. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a violinist at a wedding or another event. Thank you Vicki!

  Exceeded our Expectations!

  We found Vicki about a month before our wedding and we are SO glad she was able to accommodate our last minute request for her service. Vicki has a way with the violin. Her music was tear jerking at the ceremony, and so pleasant during our dinner. She was very flexible and patient with us as we dealt with challenges surrounding COVID and our wedding. She made our tiny wedding so, so special. She also played requests for our guests and kept them entertained! We are so thrilled with Vicki's service and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to music to convey emotion during their wedding day.

  Beautiful music!!

  Vicki’s violin and guitar made our wedding! Such beautiful music and she required so little direction. She even learned a new song for us at no additional charge. Really great experience!

  Could not be Happier!

  We wanted a great solo violinist to play at our wedding and Vicki did not disappoint! We were so pleased with how easy she was to work with and how beautifully talented is she. She enhanced our small outdoor wedding ceremony beyond measure.
  Vicki was so responsive to all of our questions and requests and could not have made the preparation experience better.
  She has a large list of songs to choose from - both classical and more modern selections - and is a true professional.

  Beautiful music

  Vicki was amazing I picked out songs that I wanted played at my wedding on violin and she learned how to play them. It was beautiful and it everything I hope it would be for my wedding! If your looking for a violinist I recommend Vicki! Thank you so much for playing at my wedding!

  We had such an amazing experience with Violin by Vicki! We hired both a violinist and a cello to play during our ceremony and cocktail, and Vicki herself played violin. They both did such an amazing job! We received so many compliments on their performance from our guests!
  
  But even before the wedding day, Vicki was great. I felt a bit like a diva asking Vicki to play "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters while our bridal party walked down the aisle, and she said no problem and learned it for us. Later on, a musician guest of ours told us that was a really hard song to play, so I'm just so grateful they learned it for us without hesitation. That was just so kind and really helped us personalize our ceremony.

  Talented and professional - highly recommended!

  Vicki did a fantastic job playing at our wedding! She is a great musician and collaborated well with our DJ, which was one less thing for us to worry about before the ceremony. She was even willing to transcribe a song that wasn't part of her existing repertoire for us, just to help make our day extra special. We would definitely recommend Vicki to anyone in need of a solo violinist!

  People told me it was the best music they've ever heard at a wedding ceremony!!

  Wow, I cannot say enough about Vicki. She is absolutely fantastic - SO talented - and truly a professional.
  
  She play the violin at our wedding ceremony, and another member of her team played the piano. I got married three weeks ago and continue to receive emails from people about how much they loved the music at the ceremony. We had asked Vicki to play some old hymns (such as Amazing Grace, Come Thou Fount, How Great Thou Art, etc) as well as some newer worship songs (Cornerstone, etc) and they were all absolutely beautiful.
  
  Vicky found lovely arrangements for each song, and had me chose the arrangements I liked best prior to our day. We did this via phone and email, which made it super easy. She was very responsive and did exactly what I asked. She also gave me advice and input on how everything should flow, which I really appreciated since this was my first wedding and I had no idea how everything should work.
  
  She and the pianist played prelude music for longer than I had anticipated (as we had to delay the start of the ceremony for latecomers) and she came prepared with a repertoire of beautiful songs that matched our other song choices.
  
  What I really appreciated about her was how professional and the pianist were. They were dressed so nicely, they came early, and they made everything super easy for me as the bride.
  
  I honestly cannot say enough about Vicki!! She could get away charging a lot more than she does because she and her team are fantastic!!! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know who gets married!!

  "Vicki was very flexible from the get-go which was really important to us as a non-profit. We had some last minute illness really impact our event (yikes!) & my attention had to be elsewhere virtually start to finish. Vicki just carried on, didn't have to be supervised and continued to play on. I can't tell you how much that helped me out!"

  Vicki and her group were all I could've hoped for to be at our wedding; Professional, quick to respond, provided suggestions for pieces when we needed help, and most importantly, played Canon in D beautifully for the bridal procession.

  Vicki arrived early, despite a long walk from the parking lot to the location of the wedding. She made great suggestions for songs when we couldn't make a decision. She was very nice and received many compliments from guests. Her price was also the best I could find, making her a great deal.

  I really can't say enough glowing remarks about Vicki. She played beautifully at my wedding and during the cocktail hour. Lovely tone and vibrato in her violin playing. We communicated a few times before the wedding, and she played all the music that I selected, even a piece that was not on her play list but she knew it anyway. Very professional and accommodating. Everyone loved all the pieces she played. I would highly recommend Vicki if you looking for a classy violinist.

  Vicki's playing blew everyone away at our ceremony. She learned my requests and played them perfectly. One of which was a synth-pop song which was a surprise for my husband and he recognized the song immediately and was impressed. It made everything feel very special and romantic, and I am so glad we chose her to work with. Right price, right attitude, the right violinist for your special event.

  Vicki Berckmann was an excellent woman to work with. The one thing I remember about the ceremony (because it all does happen so fast!) is the violin music she was playing as I was walking down the isle.

  Did not play the correct Bridal Processional

  I am highly disappointed in this vendor. My dream has always been to walk down to Ava Maria - turns out Vicki and her team played the WRONG song! Instead they proceeded to play "Here Comes The Bride" which was no where even on my list of music to play. On top of that, Vicky comes running up to me immediately after the ceremony where my newly husband and I are being congratulated by friends and family apologizing like crazy that she made the mistake and will play it during cocktail hour instead. Too late now, that was not the point. If you want correct music played at your wedding ceremony especially something as sentimental as your bridal processional perhaps look elsewhere.

  I am so deeply sorry, and understand how you feel. The Ave Maria was on the adjoining page to Here Comes the Bride, and all I can say is that with the strong possibility of rain, which fortunately did not happen, we were so concerned for our instruments, and distracted by the fact that the coordinator started sending the bridal party down before we had time to change the music from Seating of the Parents ...she was supposed to wait until the parents were completely seated. And of course I came up to apologize to you, as when I realized what had happened, I didn't want to pretend to ignore it. We had several of your guests come up to us at cocktail hour and tell us how lovely our playing was, and one guest even gave us a tip, so hopefully that counts for our quality. In my 23 years of playing weddings and parties, I've rarely had any issues that have created disappointment. Again, I hope you can accept my apologies.
