Kim Sent on 04/29/2018I met Rick when I first started photographing weddings, and it's always been easy to refer him to my couples. He is a complete pro and most importantly, he knows how to get the party going. My husband had met Rick a few times over the years and we were already in agreement that he would be the DJ for us when we got married. After we got engaged I immediately reached out to Rick to make sure he was available for our date. Not only was he available, but as the date got closer he confirmed that Amber would be joining him! We lucked out to get them as a team.
Rick and Amber showed up early to give themselves plenty of time to get set up, and I loved seeing them for the first time as I was walking to our first look. We really wanted a vendor team that was genuinely excited for us and happy to be a part of our day, and I knew Rick and Amber were all in. Our ceremony was flawless, and they had cocktail music ready as guests made their way up to the reception area. The entire reception was perfect, Rick is a master on the mic and knows how to keep things flowing without being pushy or being on the mic too much. Rick has the perfect balance of being fun and professional. Amber was working more behind the scenes keeping things flowing, but I've worked with her as the lead DJ and she is amazing as well. But now to the most important part...our dance party. Rick had the dance floor packed for THREE HOURS. I wasn't sure if our dance party would last since it started kinda early and we had a smaller guest count, but we raged. We seriously broke the dance floor, all the sections were broken apart at the end of the night. Rick played all of our special requests and encouraged everyone to rally around us during our last dance song. Amber was even out on the dance floor with us!
They contributed so much positivity and fun energy to our evening and it would not have been the same without them. I highly recommend both Rick and Amber! -

We never had to worry about anything...he kept everything moving at all times. He was the greatest investment of the entire wedding process! I wouldn't use anyone else.... -
User1379209 Sent on 10/14/2013We needed a DJ and emcee for our 250 attendee wedding reception, and a friend suggested Rick with Vision Entertainment. He was booked for 10/05/13, but said DJ Cali could work our night and it was ABSOLUTELY GREAT! When we first met with Cali, we instantly fell in love with her charisma, comedy, and helpful nature to make sure we got what we wanted. We basically told her our plan is to have a fun night, then basically turn the dance floor into a night club for the last two hours… and it was accomplished! Since Cali has great experience, she also brought a lot of good ideas to the table and immensely helped us plan the day. Not to mention, the website is a very helpful tool in recording song requests, order of events, and any other information to give the DJ for the day.
We gave Cali some general direction on music types: oldies during dinner, the specifics for our entry/first dance/etc, then a request for top 40, 90’s hip-hop, and dance remixes to keep the dance floor rockin’ all night. She definitely made it happen! We even emailed her a ton of songs on a very short 1.5 day notice, and she even played those too! All of our guests said the DJ was awesome, which was obvious because we all danced right up until 11pm – the time we had the venue until. Also, we requested the upgraded sound and dance floor lights, and both were fantastic!
DJ Cali’s emcee skills kept the night moving perfectly – on schedule and with the personal flair that she could provide. We definitely recommend her!! Everyone said they had a blast at our wedding, and we have to thank DJ Cali and Vision Entertainment for setting the upbeat tone and making our wedding reception the unforgettable night it was supposed to be!Vision Entertainment's reply:

User2357694 Sent on 10/08/2015Rick was the DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job. He is very organized which is what stressed out brides need. He is also personable and gets to know you and the vibe you want for your wedding. We got a lot of comments from guests saying how awesome the music was and how smooth everything was at the reception. He knows how to keep things on track while being flexible with things that come up throughout the night. He even went above and beyond creating a remix of songs for our father daughter dance. I highly recommend him.

User935254 Sent on 09/16/2012Rickcame recommended by a personal friend. We were a bit apprehensive about going with someone we hadn't seen in action professionally but our fears were unfounded! Rick did an exceptional job for us and we were very happy. The music kept everone dancing. He went above and beyond his role. We also found out a few days later that he had received some bad news on the day of our wedding but he was a true professional and didn't let that affect his performance. I can imagine how difficult this must have been for him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Jennifer Sent on 11/09/2011Rick really is an amazing DJ and all around amazing person to work with! I would recommend him for any wedding or other event. He's not cheesy, but he's entertaining. The music was great! Family and friends danced the entire night! He even made special dedications that I had requested and played abnormal music I knew my friends would love, and Rick played it all! We had a blast. If you’re looking for a fantastic DJ who is easy to work with and doesn't nickel and dime you for everything, Vision Entertainment is the way to go. His services were also at an outstanding value. We trusted him so much that we only selected a few must play songs and recommended songs he knew exactly what to play the rest of the evening. Also, he made it really easy for me when slecting other music for the ceremony. He would give me a few choices and I would pick the one. I can't say enough great things!
