  Unique and Stunning Photos- Destination Wedding Estes Park

  Meghan was AMAZING! Our original wedding plans were cancelled due to COVID and Meghan helped photograph our intimate destination wedding in Estes Park, Colorado, in August of 2020. Our wedding venue recommended her and we could not be happier with how our photos turned out. Prior to our wedding day, Meghan was communicative, patient, and empathetic (we were disappointed that our original plans fell through and not very excited about planning a wedding all over again). Since we did not know the area, she made recommendations on where to take photos after the wedding and made the options very easy for us! Day of, Meghan was so helpful and supportive. She arrived early and got right to work photographing us getting ready. She was a great coach both before and after the wedding, advising us where to stand and what to do. She captured all of our intimate moments before, during, and after the ceremony, and the family photos are unique and stunning. Finally, we did a long photo shoot at Lily Lake afterwards. My husband does not normally enjoy having photos taken of him, but Meghan’s direction and positive energy helped keep him excited and laughing (he actually had fun!). Meghan was able to capture our personalities and joy in the photos, which is what makes them so amazing. She was also just a joy to be around, which made her a wonderful addition to our small wedding! We highly recommend using Meghan!

  Friendly and Fun!

  To be honest, choosing a wedding photographer was a little anxiety producing for me - my husband and I have never been very photogenic haha. That being said, since the first time I talked to Meghan she reassured me that she would capture those candid, emotive moments. She delivered on her promise and more. She was very efficient and easy to be around. At the end of our session, she felt like a friend and we were laughing and feeling full of joy. Looking at her photos I can relive my favorite day and I finally feel like I have a good picture with my partner! On another note, I have a very large and crazy family which she managed with ease in large group shots. I have nothing but the highest praises for Meghan!

  Having Meghan as our wedding photographer was a dream come true! There is no way we could have been happier. Our pictures are stunning and everything we imagined they would be. We also received the photos in a VERY timely manner! Being a out of state bride communication with Meghan was flawless even when she was traveling outside the U.S. With Meghan's skills there was no way I could pass up a second "day after" shoot, in the RMNP! Best decision I ever made...Meghan's personality is so sweet and genuine , getting pictures taking by her is a breeze and so, so fun! I know every time I'm in Meghan's neck of the woods I'll be calling our new friend for more beautiful photos.

  Meghan was a joy to work with! She has such a creative eye and was willing to capture anything desired! I was an out of state bride and didn't not get to meet her until the day of the event and she did not disappoint! She was also incredibly timely with making the pictures available to us. I love the memories she captured and will cherish them forever!

  My husband and Meghan worked together to get a suprise capture of our engagement. Meghan was beyond helpful and even went to the site to shoot areas that he could use as "the spot"! Her talent speaks for itself but her sheer kindness is what truly makes her the best around!

  Meghan was absolutely beyond wonderful!!! She is so kind, sweet, and she has an AMAZING eye for detail.
  
  The package we got from Meghan included an engagement photo shoot. I loved getting to do that with her. It gave us the opportunity to get to know her better, and I think my husband (well... fiancee at the time) was able to get comfortable having someone take pictures of him. The work she did on the engagement shoot was breathtaking! I knew right then that our wedding pictures would be too. :-)
  
  She is also amazingly fast! She had a few pictures already ready for us by the time we woke up after the wedding. My first thought was "does this woman ever sleep?!"
  
  I highly recommend Meghan. You will be thrilled with your results.

  I don't even know where to begin. The pictures we have from our wedding are absolutely priceless to us. Meghan captured such beautiful and precious moments from the wedding and reception. I confess that I was nervous and a little stressed out during the wedding and reception, so I hardly noticed any of those details I spent nearly two years planning. Meghan has such a wonderful eye and notices every detail. She took beautiful photographs not only of the people at the wedding but also the flowers, cake, favors, shoes, food... everything! She knows of all sorts of beautiful areas for photos that are off the beaten path.
  
  Wedding photos take a long time to process, but Meghan knew we would have loved to see some right away. By the next morning, she had a few photos ready for us. We also got to see about 20 or so photos on her blog within just a few days. It was awesome to be on our honeymoon and get to see those! The entire wedding album was available on-line for us to share with our friends and family within just a few weeks.
  
  On top of being an amazing photographer, Meghan is also the SWEETEST person! She is so calm, gentle, and truly kind. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
  
  Meghan's work was so incredible that we asked her to do our anniversary photos as well. Those photos were also amazing! She is such a wonderfully talented photographer! I highly recommend her!

  I cannot say enough great things about Meghan! When I first saw her photos at a Bridal fair I almost cried they were so beautiful. She has a way of seeing things in a unique perspective and knows how to deliver the absolute best result in the final product. She is wonderfully sweet and very helpful with posing, she is completely professional, and she worked with us on our schedule and our budget. I highly recommend her!!!

  I cannot say enough great things about Meghan! When I first saw her photos at a Bridal fair I almost cried they were so beautiful. She has a way of seeing things in a unique perspective and knows how to deliver the absolute best result in the final product.   We booked Meghan via a packaged deal that Black Canyon Inn (our venue), in Estes Park, offered. I had already been actively researching photographers and was familiar with her after coming across her portfolio on her website. So when we found out she was available to shoot our wedding, we couldn't have been more excited! I have one regret, that we only booked her for one hour including the ceremony. This caused me to rush to be on time for the ceremony to ensure we would have time for pictures afterward. I would recommend splurging on booking a photographer for a few hours, if not for the entire night. We had no professional pictures of our reception, which would have come in handy during our silly cake cutting experience. I would suggest if you can't afford a photographer for the whole time, to assign this job to one of your trusted guests! Although I haven't yet seen pictures of my wedding day yet, I have faith that Meghan will do a great job editing. She directed us well and was very open and accommodating about who we wanted pictures of. And even though we ran out of time, she stayed 20 minutes extra to continue capturing precious after wedding moments. She was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I can't wait to see what she has come up with, and I definitely recommend her services!

  Meghan was unbelievable. She was so gracious taking the time to meet with me before the wedding to get a "feel" for us and what we were seeking in our photography. She was patient with the family photos - as we all tried to herd the cats. I would highly recommend Meghan at Visual Poetry! Top Notch!
