  Truly extraordinary! Jamie is fun, thoughtful, creative, and amazing. She was exactly what we were looking for and her photos are beyond words. Truly wonderful experience and priceless product. We could not have been happier!

  Words are inadequate to describe the excellence, artistry, easy communication and reliability that made our experience working with Jamie AMAZING. Right from the moment we contacted her, she was accessible, open to what we wanted at our wedding (e.g., not many “posed” shots….more candid ones), and added her own artistic eye and enormous talent to every photo. Our friends and relatives LOVED how she was “there but not there” during the event, and how friendly and engaging she was when connecting with guests. The disk of photos she sent us totally blew us away! Color images and black & whites, tasteful groupings and candid close-ups….AND she’s willing to help us create our book of those images so her artistry can weave through the book design as well. Oh, and Jamie is REASONABLY priced, to add icing to the cake. Thanks again, Jamie….You’re a gem! Janet and Karen

  Jamie was a joy to work with and we love our photographs! Her work captures the spontaneity, love and playfulness that should be present at every wedding. We were a destination wedding and the first time we met Jamie face to face was the day of our wedding; prior to that, she was wonderful with communication - facetime, texts, phone calls, emails or whatever else we needed. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt and with us all day. The best part of working with Jamie was that it was like having another friend in the room - we laughed and carried on as if we'd known each other for years! She really wanted to make sure that we had images that captured us, our location and that we'd love for years and she made sure to go above and beyond - the girl nearly fell into a river on more than one occasion just to make sure that she got the angle that she wanted! When all was said and done, the photos arrived much faster than we were expected and we had a TON of great stuff to choose from. I would recommend her to anyone!

  I chose engagement party as my event because engagement photos wasn't an option! My fiance and I had so much fun! We kept going even when it began to ran! It was easy to keep natural smiles because we were actually having fun :D Will definitely use VisualLife photography again for other important life events!

  Jamie is without a doubt one hard working lady. She was punctual, professional and patient with all the turn of events that happened on our wedding day. She was communicative and friendly to everyone involved in our wedding party. With her creative eye she captured so many wonderful memories that day. Our photos came back more beautiful than I could have imagined. Her prices are very reasonable for the amount of detailed services she provides in a day. And if you love black and white photography then she's your gal!! We have had Jamie do our maternity, Mother's Day, family and wedding photos and she has never disappointed us!

  Jamie is wonderful. We just got our photos back and they are so perfect for us. I also love that she comes to the rehearsal to be sure she knows the main people and family... She also was very likable making it easy for the guests to want to work with her to get the best photos. I loved her, and her work. She is also very affordable and helpful!

  We hired Jamie with VisualLife Photography because we had heard that she was not the normal stuffy photographer. We were told that she was fun, energetic and full of enthusiasm. Boy were we glad to have hired her. The reccomendation was exactly right. Jamie was not only energetic and ethusiastic, but creative and focused. She did a great job of listening to our ideas and seeing our vision, but making it even better. She mixed her professional experiance and her willingness to go outside the norm with our needs and desires flawlessly.
  
  I know there are a lot of choices in the wedding photgraphy business, however you'd be making a big mistake not using Jamie at VisualLife.
  
  P.S. We were so happy with the finished product that we have hired Jamie two additional times since our wedding for family photos and holiday photos!

  Jamie Vanbuhler photographed our wedding back in July 2008. My husband and I look back at those photos all the time and are very thankful we chose Jamie to be our photographer. She took the time to get to know my husband and I so she could capture the "moment" and the "feeling" perfectly! We are so happy with the final outcome that we have hired Jamie on a continuous basis to photograph our family as it as grown throughout the years. We now have two beautiful girls and we are so thrilled that we found someone with an "excellent eye" to capture our little ones as they grow up!

  We had a great experience with Jamie for both our engagement photos and at our wedding. You spend a lot of initimate moments in front of the photographer's lens, so it's important that you are comfortable around them because they are with you A LOT on your special day. Jamie is very easy going and FUN. She does some non-traditional things, which makes the photos special - I don't feel like my photo album matching all the other weddings she has shot. BUT she also did well capturing the "traditional" images that my mom wanted. Final bonus, Jamie loves to do the editing, and we appreciated her spending that extra time after the wedding to give us a great collection of shots. Overall, very happy with Jamie.
