  Best officiant service out there!

  Brandon was our officiant for our wedding day and he was absolutely wonderful! We received so many compliments on our ceremony and how it was conducted with such warmth and joy. All thanks to Brandon!! Brandon and Walter both brought us so much comfort during the planning process. They were both very responsive, professional, and kind. I would highly recommend Wah Joy to anyone!!

  Brandon was our officiant for our wedding day and he was absolutely wonderful! We received so many compliments on our ceremony and how it was conducted with such warmth and joy. All thanks to Brandon!! Brandon and Walter both brought us so much comfort during the planning process. They were both very responsive, professional, and kind.   Walter was absolutely amazing and added exactly what we needed to our elopement ceremony.

  Water was very communicative, allowed us to create our own ceremony script, was very unbiased and judgement free of what we wanted to include and exclude from our ceremony. He also provided templates for you to create your own comments and edits as a starting point. Offered a create marriage building experience. Walter also allowed for us to choose his wedding day attire. 10/10 recommend. Pinned photos by www.kalenaphotography.com.

  11/2/2024 Wedding

  We were in need of a new officiant as our previous one was no longer able to marry us and we were lucky to find Walter available for our wedding day. Not only did he take the time to get to know us in a very short amount of time, he made us feel at ease during the process of needing to find a new officiant 5 days before we were to be married. I couldn’t recommend him enough and our guests loved his personality and humor!

  My now husband and I needed an officiant for our recent wedding, so our venue gave us Walter's name as a suggestion to try. We reached out and set up a call (planning an out-of-town wedding) and from our first conversation with him, we knew we would ask him to be our officiant. He was personable, informative, and easy to talk to. He answered our questions clearly and he made us feel at ease through the conversation, so we set up a time to meet with him in person to discuss what we wanted from an officiant.
  
  When we met him at a coffee shop while we were in town, it felt like we'd known him for years. He has a warmth about him and truly cared about making our wedding memorable.
  
  We emailed and texted a few times between our in-person meeting and the actual wedding day and his response time was fantastic. I never once felt like we were left stranded or trying to figure stuff out ourselves. He made himself available for us!
  
  The day of the wedding went smoothly as well - he has a voice suited for public speaking and I received compliments from my family about what a wonderful job he did for us. He is polished, clear, detail-oriented, and 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an officiant.

  We hired Wah Joy about eight months before our wedding. We had Walter as our officiant in Lawson, MO. We were kind of far away from where he is based from but he gave us an initial call and got to know us and our story. Walter was the most amazing and nicest guy we could have had the pleasure of having as our officiant. He did a wonderful job making our ceremony script something truly unique to us and made our day feel so special. I absolutely loved having him at our wedding and I hope more and more people get to experience the joy of Wah Joy!

  We would definitely recommend WahJoy! We loved working with Walter and Brandon, they were both so kind and friendly. Walter has an excellent selection of ceremony scripts and we enjoyed working with him to make a script that was right for us. Brandon was great on the day, lots of our guests complimented how nicely he conducted the ceremony and how lovely the script was. We felt comfortable with Brandon and the Ceremony felt very personal and friendly. We are glad we chose WahJoy, they really helped make our day special.

The part of the experience that I valued the most with Wah Joy is how much Walter cared. He has such a kind heart, is so fun and enthusiastic! He helped us create a ceremony script by displaying precious scripts that had been used in past weddings. My husband and I would find statements from other scripts that we liked and he’d help summarize a similar piece for our ceremony. He had ideas to make our script even more special to us. He was receptive to our requests.
  He was always flexible to help meet, or even text. Our guests commented on how unique and beautiful our wedding ceremony was, truly would not have been complete without the help of Wah - Joy. 100% recommend, hands down! You will not be disappointed.

  Walter's genuine and positive personality really made a difference during the planning process and on our wedding day. He provided us with a list of different vows to choose from and from there we got to customize our own. As soon as he showed up on the big day he was ready to communicate with my husband and me as well as the other vendors on site. He even stayed a little after dinner and chatted with both us and our family. We are so grateful that we chose Walter! He truly made our day feel so special and important.

He was so warm and friendly, and made sure that our ceremony was exactly as we envisioned. He really took the time to get to know my husband and I beforehand, so on the day of the wedding, it felt like he was someone who really could speak from the heart. Couldn’t have asked for more, but we knew if we had, he would have found a way to make it happen. The picture attached shows exactly how much joy he exuded. My dad absolutely loved him too, a huge seal of approval for me :) Walter also provided us with so many beautiful options to help tailor the ceremony to fit exactly us. With all the example scripts we were given I could tell that he pours dedication into his work.

  New Year's Eve 2022

  We found Walter after meeting with another officiant who wanted to charge us $800 for a very brief ceremony, with no rehearsal and no bridal party.
  
  We were very happy to find a more down to earth and affordable service through Walter, who was very personable and enthusiastic about all things love, couples and weddings.
  
  When talking to Walter, he said he could feel the love between the couples when he stood beside them at the ceremony, and that was what stuck with me.
  
  He was very clear and read the script in a slow pace, that was deliberate and easy for guests to hear. He came and checked in with us after the ceremony and explained the process of the marriage license. He even mailed it the following day.
  
  I would highly recommend him, if you want a heartfelt, connected ceremony without all the pomp and circumstance.

  Walter was amazing!!! My husband I actually moved the time of our wedding up and hour than we originally wanted so we could have Walter be our officiant. He did a great job working with us on ceremony and what exactly we wanted said and what we didn't want said. We made a great choice by choosing Walter to marry us!!!
