I am beyond pleased with my wedding at Wailea Beach Resort.

I cannot begin to describe how perfect our event was at the Wailea Beach Resort. MeiLi was extremely communicative with me and once we arrived at the resort, she made sure our entire experience was perfect. We were only supposed to have an upgraded room for half of the stay and she was able to upgrade us to an oceanfront suite the entire trip. When we arrived in our room, she had some of our favorite snacks, champagne, and other beverages for us. My husband does not drink alcohol and she made sure they brought up his favorite pop. A different ceremony and brunch reception location on the resort were available that were nicer than what we originally were going to have. MeiLi went out of her way to tell us we could move our event, showed us the locations, and let us use these upgraded locations for free. She definitely did not have to do that and we would not have known the difference - her going out of her way shows how dedicated she is to customer experience. MeiLi was there the entire trip to answer my random questions, including recommendations for food, groceries, resort amenities, and even brought up a full size notepad so I could write my wedding vows. She went above and beyond anything we expected.

The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect and everything ran so smoothly. Our brunch event was perfect. Even though it was pretty warm outside that day, the new location MeiLi suggested was covered and had a great cool breeze going through. The pictures we took at the brunch venue almost looked fake because the background was so perfect of the ocean.

I cannot recommend having your wedding at Wailea Beach Resort enough. The outstanding service, communication and overall experience our entire stay was above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The experience was so great that I did not even mention the gorgeous resort, outstanding amenities, and beautiful views. Wailea Beach Resort is the only place we will stay when we visit Maui going forward - we are lifelong customers!

Amazing and beautiful setting. The grounds were so beautiful for our wedding ceremony and our honeymoon. Our dinner was great at Mala.

Our wedding at the Wailea Beach Marriott was completely amazing! The staff was very accommodating and great to work with. They exceeded all of our expectations.

If you want all the greenery of Hawaii with a "beach at sunset" photo-op, this is the place to go. The grounds are so lush, lots of deep green, bold reds, perfect whites. Waterfalls, Koi ponds, rustic bridges. It has it all. They have a perfect secluded wedding spot that holds about 50 people. When you enter, they have an amazing white marble entryway with grand staircase. Then we were a 5 minute walk from the beach where we got amazing shots on the beach at sunset. It was perfect. They also did the wedding cake and champagne service. The cake was TO DIE FOR. In all the commotion, I forgot to take the left-overs back to the room, but my husband and I still rave about that cake to this day.

The sales representative that helped us while we were shopping for venues was very helpful and was a factor on why we chose Wailea Marriott. It was unfortunate that we were passed around to 2 event coordinators during the 1 year of planning our wedding. Since we had a destination wedding we were hoping to have more help and responsiveness from the event coordinators but it came down to the wire at 1 1/2 wk before the wedding to get more than half of the details done. During the reception, we were told that all the tiki torches would be lit and scattered all over the terrace in addition to the lanterns and ball lights; they were not lit. We asked to have them up but they only lit 2 up front the sweet-heart table. Our photographer had a difficult time taking pictures due to lack of light. However, the venue being outside was beautiful. The Sunset cocktail hour was fantastic. Our DJ was great and was very receptive in the music requests. The food was great. Our favorite people during that night were the banquet staff, most especially GENE!! Despite of all the other things we had an amazing night and all our guests had a wonderful time drinking, dancing and having a fun.

The Marriott was the perfect place to host our large wedding party. We went on a scouting trip a year before our wedding to check out all the locations and we decided on the Marriott because the price was great, the service was great, it was absolutely beautiful, it had a shopping mall area that was a 5 minute walk away and it had all the amenities that our guests could ever want and need. We were absolutely blown away by the service our 60 guests received while there. They had a great time and will never forget how amazing it was.
