We could not have asked for a better wedding-planning or wedding-weekend experience. Selecting your venue can be such a big & stressful decision but after our tour of Walden we only felt excitement, confidence, and peace of mind. Walden has the ability to turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend with their 20+ rooms in which my wife & I and all our closest family & friends took advantage of both Friday and Saturday night. Every single guest said it was the nicest ‘hotel’ room they’d ever stayed in and the rooms truly feel like your own little apartment. I could go on forever about all our favorite parts of the weekend and Walden deserves 5 stars from every perspective as a wedding venue but we have to especially highlight the food. By far the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding - not even close.

So while we’d give Walden a 10/10, we would give Makenna a 100/10. She is the absolute best and we could not speak highly enough about her. To give some perspective on the type of Wedding Planner and person she is: We were planning on having a ‘Welcome Party’ on Friday where our guests were invited to join us in the Walden Lounge for drinks & snacks. In a total mess-up on our end, we never communicated this plan to Makenna. So with only a couple hours notice, Makenna made the whole thing happen and even was our bartender for the night. Everything throughout the whole weekend went super smoothly with no stress on our end and that is definitely thanks to Makenna. With all of the decisions and intricacies that go into planning your wedding, your wedding planner can totally make or break your experience & Makenna made ours (despite lots of high-maintenance requests) better than we could have ever hoped.
