  Incredible Photographers and the NICEST people

  Laura Walking Eagle is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, AND a seriously talented, amazing, incredible photographer. From the first moment I met Laura, I knew I wanted her to be our photographer. We did an engagement session with just Laura and then both she and her husband Clay shot our wedding. Our engagement photos were beyond dreamy and the preview I got of our wedding photos (we just got married in August) literally brought me to tears.
  
  My husband and I had quite the journey getting to our wedding day, canceling our original wedding plans twice (COVID brides, you get it!). When we finally nailed down a new date, 8/8/20, the FIRST person I reached out to was Laura to be sure she and Clay were available. I didn’t finalize the date until I confirmed we could book them (seriously they are THAT GOOD, I would have changed the date again to be able to use them!).
  
  Laura and Clay both have this way about them that instantly makes you comfortable. They are amazing at giving just the right amount of direction to ensure your photos are everything you want them to be and more, but you never feel overly directed or posed. We had a very small wedding ceremony and reception on a rooftop terrace in Laguna Beach that was just barely big enough for our 30-person group size. Despite the very tight space, you never felt like Laura or Clay were intrusive (yet they still managed to get all the right shots and angles!).
  
  I could not be happier with our photos and recommend Laura and Clay to everyone I know. I can’t wait to have the chance to hire them again in the future for maternity photos :)

  Best decision ever!

  Oh my gosh, Laura and Clay were an absolute dream to work with!! Now let me give you some background - Something that caught me by surprise during the wedding planning process was the fact that my husband had an opinion on photographers. It turns out he was far more particular and opinionated about them than I anticipated. We had our wedding ceremony in Maui and paid for 2 hours of coverage for the day of, and then we threw a reception at home in San Diego a few months later. We hired Walking Eagle Photography to photograph our SD reception, after hearing such great things about them from close friends. But let me tell you, it was not easy to convince my husband we needed a professional photographer for our reception as well. The fact that he was so happy with them speaks volumes! My husband now fully admits he sees true value in having a professional photographer, and this was after only seeing two preview pictures. He is so happy with the fact that we hired Clay and Laura to be a part of our special day. They were the most kind, patient, and caring photographers. We are over the moon happy with our photos!!

  Beyond Incredible, Organized and Great with Everyone

  We worked with Laura for our engagement photos and our wedding day. Our engagement photos were perfect! She and her team were amazing on the day of! You could feel how well they worked together and we were having a formal attire wedding and they fit right in which we really appreciated! She took time to make sure that we got every photo with family that we wanted and the photos are magical. Laura had a timeline for us and from the moment they arrived, they were ready to go! I will keep Laura, Clay and the rest of the Walking Eagle family in mind for future events!

  Best photographers ever

  The Walking Eagles are amazing photographers! We couldn’t be happier with the photographs from our wedding day, and I can’t recommend them enough as wedding photographers.
  The Walking Eagles were recommended to me by our wedding planner. Since we don’t live in San Diego, we weren’t able to meet Clay and Laura beforehand or have an engagement shoot. Having seen gorgeous examples of their photographs online, I spoke to Laura on the phone, she was so sweet and kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I knew right away that I wanted her to be our wedding photographer.
  We met the Walking Eagles on the wedding day, and I think it is a tribute to their affability and professionalism that they made us feel immediately at ease. They knew exactly what to say to make us feel relaxed, and knew exactly how to instruct us to make us look natural in the photos. We had a really nice time taking our couples photos with them during the wedding—they are really nice people. Not to mention there is something quite lovely about having your wedding photos taken by a happily married couple!
  The pictures they created are, quite simply, stunning. I love the wistful, almost dreamy feel of the photographs. The colors are beautiful—we got married by the sea and the colors of the sand, cliffs, and ocean are so soft.
  And I still can’t believe my husband and I are the people in the pictures—we look way better than we do in real life! The Walking Eagles really captured us at our best, and captured our love and humor in candid moments. We don’t think of ourselves as particularly photogenic, but the Walking Eagles made us feel, and importantly look, photogenic. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Clay and Laura!

  No Regrets!!

  Finding a photographer was one of the most difficult things throughout the whole wedding planning process. I knew that this decision would be the one we would regret if we made the wrong choice. With that being said, I have absolutely no regrets in hiring Laura and Clay! We hired Walking Eagle Photography for both our engagement session as well as our wedding and the pictures are just amazing!! They were on time, extremely organized and were great with communicating with my husband and I. They made it super comfortable for us which is what was my original worry since I have never been very photogenic. Laura and Clay did such an amazing job in capturing all of the details of our wedding. I feel so grateful and blessed to know that my husband and I are going to have such gorgeous pictures to remember our amazing day for years and years to come. I hope to hire them again in the future for pregnancy/baby photos!! I cannot say enough great things about these two!!

  Walking Eagle was the BEST DECISION we made in building our wedding vendor team. Laura shot our engagement photos and we could not believe what my eyes were seeing when we reviewed the pictures. They were unbelievably gorgeous. She captured the light, the love and the happiness in such a natural way. They didn’t seem posed. Working with Laura and Clay are easy and natural. I cannot wait to see the beauty they capture at our wedding (I keep checking Instagram every day). I know we will be using Walking Eagle for our future pictures and I will continue to follow them on Instagram because their pictures are just so captivating.

I can't tell you how pleased I am with the photos and the work that they did. They were so sweet and easy to work with and made the day feel so fun and easy. They gave me great direction (which I needed, as someone who doesn't know how to model and didn't want to look awkward/cheesy in my wedding photos!). They went above and beyond. I showed Laura a few pictures I thought I wanted to get in the area we were getting married - she printed them all off as a check list and brought them to the venue. They found this BEAUTIFUL tree and Laura let me wear her boots so I could safely climb up the roots to get the most INCREDIBLE pictures.
  
  They are lovely, and perfect, and you'll be obsessed with your photos. Can't go wrong.

  We hired Clay of Walking Eagle Photography to be our wedding Videographer and he was fantastic. We just received our video and it was beyond amazing. Such great quality of video. Everyone tells me it looks like a movie! To be honest I barely even noticed him during our wedding. He was able to blend into the environment perfectly allowing us to be natural and ourselves and not feeling like we had to perform for the camera. It was perfect! I was a little particular with the type of song I wanted to go with our video and the song he chose was also perfect! He chose one that fit our personality and flowed with the video flawlessly. PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Clay and his videography skills! He will not disappoint you!

From the very first email response from Laura I knew that they would provide me with the professionalism and quality of photos we were looking for. Laura was extremely sweet, helpful, responsive and open to what we were looking for. When we did our engagement session we met Clay and got to experience why they are so successful as a team. This husband and wife team work so well together, they're so sweet to each other and they each have their own style. Allowing each other the opportunity to take photos when they see something special. Clay has a natural artistic eye for using natural light.   Walking Eagle Photography brings out the beauty in everyday life. My cousin had Walking Eagle do her wedding and engagement photos years ago, and they were so beautiful they stuck in my mom's and my mind until it was my turn. From the first sit down with Laura discussing our engagement and wedding photos, I knew I needed to look no further. Laura is so personable and sweet, and the portfolios she brought really highlighted her and her husband Clay's talent. Clay is just as wonderful and they are a true power couple, but humble at the same time.
  
  They are very flexible, my husband and I have very different schedules and they worked around that in order for us to get our save the dates out on time. I couldn't decide on what to wear, so they let me have a total of 3 outfits.   We have gotten endless complements on how beautiful our pictures have turned out, and it is all thanks to their talent. We ordered the photo/video package and the video is just as amazing as our photos. When my husband and I imagined our wedding one of the top priorities of ours was to make it fun, and the highlight video we got from them definitely captures that essence. One of my friends stated, "this is a full on music video," and another said "I got the chills so many times, I love how up beat and fun the video is instead of cheesy, it came out amazing."

  Walking Eagle Photography brings out the beauty in everyday life. My cousin had Walking Eagle do her wedding and engagement photos years ago, and they were so beautiful they stuck in my mom's and my mind until it was my turn. From the first sit down with Laura discussing our engagement and wedding photos, I knew I needed to look no further. Laura is so personable and sweet, and the portfolios she brought really highlighted her and her husband Clay's talent. Clay is just as wonderful and they are a true power couple, but humble at the same time.
  
  They are very flexible, my husband and I have very different schedules and they worked around that in order for us to get our save the dates out on time. I couldn't decide on what to wear, so they let me have a total of 3 outfits.   Where to begin! Laura and Clay are just such an amazing couple and I feel so grateful to have gotten to work with them for our wedding. I can't stop going through all of our photos!   I don't even know where to start with this truly talented team of photographers! Like many excited brides, I also felt very overwhelmed and kind of lost when looking for a photographer. I happen to come across Walking Eagle Photography through a search and after looking at some other photographer's portfolios I just fell in love with Walking Eagle Photography's style! Laura is so easy to get in touch with, and an absolute joy to work with, and she always answered all of my questions quickly and was always so sweet and professional. At first I was hesitant to include an engagement session in our package, but if I have one piece of advice, it's to do it! I was so nervous having never had professional photography done before, but Laura and Clay were so inviting, professional, and personal! They drove to the location I wanted and were so excited and supportive of my idea of including my horse in the session. It was so much fun, and better yet they are the most beautiful pictures I have! They captured such beautiful and intimate pictures that I am so happy to have forever! It's nice to have pictures of you and your soon to be husband not just in your wedding dress and tux. As far as the wedding pictures go, our wedding was a few months back and I still get teary looking through our wedding pictures almost daily. Laura and Clay gave me the best possible gift, which are all of the memories from that day, and they give you ALL the rights to your pictures from the start!! (which is hard to believe, but not many photographers do.) The pictures are so stunning, and Laura and Clay made us feel so at ease during that exciting yet stressful day. They went out of their way to get them selves able to come onto the Naval base where our wedding was, and they made that day so easy.   Picking Laura and Clay to photograph our wedding was a no brainer. My husband and I met in person with four different photography teams and something just felt right about choosing Laura and Clay. Our wedding coordinator also highly recommended them. We took our engagement photos with them, which really sealed the deal that they were the right people to shoot our wedding. They are extremely professional, and very easy to work with. They were always very responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the whole process. Leading up to the wedding day I have full confidence in them that they would get the shots I wanted and they would be gorgeous. You really can't put a price on having peace of mind about the way you will remember your wedding day. Laura and Clay also looked at my pinterest page and printed photography ideas I had pinned, brought them to the wedding, and recreated the shots. This was awesome!
  
  They take beautiful photos with the rich colors and artistic details we were looking for. They are both easy to be around, which is very important on your wedding day when emotions are running high. Remember you are spending a lot of time with your photographers that day and so it is important that it is a fun process. They fit right in, but aren't afraid to ask someone to move to get the perfect shot. They also give a lot of direction for posing, which we needed. Even though they were giving directions the photos do not look posed, but very natural. After the wedding we were so happy with all the beautiful shots they took. Every time I go through them I find more photos that are my favorites. After looking at our photos I have had multiple family members comment that they wish they knew Laura and Clay when they got married because of how beautiful all the photos came out. We will definitely treasure our engagement and wedding photos for our lifetime, and we cannot wait to have Laura and Clay shoot future milestones in our life.

  Walking Eagle Photograpy did an AMAZING job! They got the most amazing pictures of us on the best of our lives. We still have family & friends complementing our pics almost 2 years later. The best part was that I don't even remember seeing them as I walked down the aisle or during the reception. They managed to get the best shots without being overly present. I highly recommend them.

  A friend recommended Walking Eagle Photography for our wedding. They were amazing from the first meet to the big day. They also shot our engagement photos.
