The ladies with Walsh and Hoover Park helped to make our day perfect ! They went above and beyond.

My husband and I are so happy we chose to be married at Hoover Hall! The outdoor patio is the perfect ceremony site complete with waterfall, string lights and beautiful landscaping. The hall is gorgeous also - rustic but convenient with indoor bathrooms and prep kitchen, unlike some barns we looked at. You have the run of the grounds which gives you access to many great photo sites, including a covered bridge and the Hoover House. Lori and Jackie are great and easy to work with and the food is delicious.

We cannot say enough great things about this venue at Hoover Park! The venue was beautiful and beyond perfect for our special day! The staff was amazing and they were extremely helpful and so easy to work with! I highly recommend this park for your venue!

The staff here was amazing. They were so helpful with every question we had and never made us feel like we were bothering them. Even when I visited with my parents and his parents Patty and Jackie always asked what I wanted and hiw we wanted our day to be. They always made sure it was what WE wanted (which is hard with a lot of people involved :) Everyone that came said the food was amazing (and it really was). If Patty didn't know the answer she got me to the person that knew it. I cannot say enough good things about Hoover Park and their staff. They truly exceeded our every expectation.

They did a great job with the setup the day before our wedding and fixed any issues that came up. All the guests loved the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Loved loved loved this venue! The weather was great and the streamed white lights inside the dark wood building was so pretty even in the summertime daylight. The courtyard seating area and surrounding landscape was beautiful. The tables seem like they'd be cramped by looking at pictures but they weren't. The event coordinators were helpful and flexible, but left a little to be desired on responsiveness, which didn't affect the actual reception. You get to buy all your own alcohol which saves so much more money than any package deal at any venue. If you choose this location, you'll be doing more work. I've had friends get married where the venue takes care of decorations, cake, card boxes, setup, etc. At Hoover Hall you'll have to plan and coordinate the details for everything and you'll have to plan around whether or not they have an event the day before. Luckily I had amazing family, friends, and a husband willing to help, especially to decorate the morning of the wedding. Finally for catering we chose the picnic menu. We went to a friend's wedding who had barbecue catered and was surprisingly a huge hit so we were open to the picnic menu. We chose mashed potatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken, and green beans, along with salad and rolls and brought in a huge dessert assortment. Everything was great, but stay away from the grilled chicken. I imagine it'd be hard to keep that much chicken juicy. We picked it to give a neutral option to guests, but it was very dry. I couldn't eat my piece. My husband ate it anyway. Go with the fun palatable foods instead of just being sensible! Great place if you don't mind taking care of all the details. I would do it all over again! I would stress less on decorations though. Keep it simple. No one cares!

This venue is very rustic looking. It is completely made out of dark logs/wood, high/vaulted ceiling, rustic chandelier lighting througout. This venue gives you an outdoor feel, but still "inside" and covered. The sides all the way around are screened that can be opened for the open feeling and breeze. There is no A/C, but they have large utility fans mounted up near the ceilings is needed. We LOVED it here! Our wedding was the middle of September, and had perfect weather that day, not too hot - not too cold! There is a gorgeous patio right outside the actual hall, which allowed us to have the ceremony on site as well, which worked out great! :) They provide the catering through Walsh University, and have a few different menu options to choose from with varying prices (cheap for what's out there at other venues). When searching for Hoover Park, you have to go through Walsh University's website to get all the contact information, i was unable to find them on popular websites such as theknot, etc.

No doubt about it, this is an incredibly beautiful venue. Picturesque & perfect for our wedding day, it was exactly the look we wanted & reasonably priced. I would get remarried here again. However, you have very little guidance/help from the coordination staff. Aka sending multiple emails and phone calls to get a response to one question. Everyone was very friendly, just not the best at getting back to you. I highly suggest hiring a wedding day coordinator and/or planner if you're getting married here, which isn't a bad thing!

Also some of the serving staff was a little off. We didn't have our champagne for the toast & toasted with empty glasses for the first half, and when they brought the cake for us to cut, they didn't bring plates or silverware so we had to use our fingers. ahahha. I mean yeah it's kind of cute, but I would have liked little things thought about like that.

Poor communication between staff. While the venue is beautiful, they charge WAY too much for a rental fee and nothing is included.
