Jerilyn Sent on 08/22/2018I am a wedding planner with many years of experience in the event business and I would highly recommend Washington Plaza Hotel for your wedding needs. The hotel offers excellent wedding packages. The entree selections are wonderful and the Chef is amazing. The hotel and event space is beautiful and offers a variety of options in order to fit your wedding's specific needs. The Catering Sales Manager, Beverly Houston, and the staff at the hotel were wonderful to work with and I truly look forward to working with them again in the future. 5 Stars indeed!

The catering was reasonably priced and we have received numerous compliments on the food. The staff was polite and took great care of everything. Overall our wedding was amazing and we highly recommend the Washington Plaza as a wedding venue. -
User2563754 Sent on 03/29/2016We got married at the National City Christian Church, so the Washington Plaza Hotel was a perfect choice for the reception... It's right across the circle! My assigned wedding planner, Beverly Houston, was so efficient and organized, and everything went off without a hitch! We received so many compliments on the food and the staff was wonderful- attentive and friendly. Much of my family was from out of town, and they enjoyed staying at the hotel, and it's close proximity to all the tourist attractions. I highly recommend this venue.

User2562804 Sent on 03/28/2016My wife and I worked with Beverly Houston at the Washington Plaza. She was very helpful with working with us. She answered all of our questions and more, We needed a lot of hand holding and she was very patient with us and was a professional the whole time. The Grand Ballroom was great and the hotel was perfect. Everything was top notch and all of our guests commented on the spectacular food, hotel, and location. My wife utilized the Lapidus Suite to get ready with her brides maids and I stayed over the the wedding night. The Lapidus Suite was HUGE!!! It had a large family room with a table that seats eight people. There was a separate sitting room, wet bar, refrigerator, and a enormous balcony that over looked the pool. The Lapidus Suite was amazing and highly recommend it! The Washington Plaza and Beverly Houston went above and beyond our expectations and really nailed our wedding. I am so happy we chose them to host our wedding! -

Beverly Houston helped us plan our event and she was always responsive and made us feel like we were in capable hands. She coordinated with Chef Luca and created a custom menu for us – pricing was reasonable, and our guests loved the food. The staff was friendly and accommodating and took care of a couple of last minute changes we had quickly. We were able to stay in the Lapidus Suite for our wedding night and it was nothing short of amazing!! We will go back for our anniversary if it’s available. -

Michelle Sent on 03/19/2013We held our ceremony, reception and cocktail hour this past weekend at the Washington Plaza hotel. In addition we hosted our rehearsal dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend the staff was extremely attentive. Our wedding was spectacular and went off without a hitch. The food was spectacular as was the decor. Beverly Houston, Annizette and all of the staff at the Washington Plaza were absolutely wonderful.
