  Beautiful Venue!

  When we had to switch our venue a couple months before our wedding due to COVID, we ended up at Water Oak Manor. The house and grounds are stunning and Susan and her team are an absolute dream to work with!

  Susan and George are a delight to work with during the planning stages and the weekend of the wedding. The venue is beautiful and well kept, a perfect place for a wedding. Susan took the time to get to know us and learn exactly what we wanted and what our budget entailed. There were some things we wanted done a bit differently for our wedding and she helped us include them and create a beautiful ceremony that flowed into a perfect cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. The home is beautiful during the day and spectacular at night. She and George were always available to answer questions and work with us throughout the planning.
  
  Susan also provided our flowers and they were gorgeous, exactly what we envisioned. She discussed our ideas for food and recommended several caterers and cake folks but pointed out which one of each she thought would best fit with us. We interviewed all of them and she was absolutely right with her first recommendation.
  
  The weekend of the wedding she made the venue available for us to begin bringing things in on Thursday and always opened Water Oak to us whenever we dropped by to drop something off or just to check on the preparations. Her staff is amazing during the event, very attentive yet virtually invisible.
  
  We had the wedding and reception we envisioned and have made two friends for life in George and Susan. Thank you both for everything.

  Susan and her husband do a wonderful job maintaining the charm and character of this old home. Susan is an artist and everything that she puts together is beautiful and stunning. Her ideas are one of a kind.
  Susan's flexibility the week and day of the wedding for set-up and preparation truly makes this venue special. She wants all of her brides to enjoy there day and not worry about time. The ability to hire your own caterer and provide your own beer and wine helps cut down on cost, but also allows you to have more choices and options. With other local reception venues, the caterers were pre selected for you, and didn't allow for much variety.

  Mrs. Susan was wonderful. She definitely puts her brides first and made sure she knew my style and exactly what I wanted. She did not get tired of me changing my mind! (at least she didn't show it :) ). The wedding day was beautiful, the flowers were perfect. She kept everything running smoothly the day of. She had a private candlelight dinner set up for my husband and I to share before going to the reception. Everything was absolutely perfect!

The home is beautiful, full of historic charm and quirky corners. Susan did all of our flowers and decorations, she directed the day like it was effortless. She let us use the house for the bridesmaid brunch at no charge!

  We truly enjoyed working Susan at Water Oak Manor. She is the extremely nice. I did not know her before, but now we feel like we have a friend for life. She made it so easy to have a wedding at the manor. She did all the flowers and we could not be happier.

  Susan & George Konstant are absolutely fantastic!!!! Susan did our flowers, decorated, & directed the day of the wedding. The flowers were to die for & the venue looked amazing. We could not have done it without her & her fabulous team. They took our vision to light & everything ran with a hitch! The only thing I hate is now not having an excuse to go out to WOM now that our wedding is over!! I highly recommend!

  Wonderful staff, beautiful site! Everyone at Eater Oak Manor made the planning so fun and easy! They did my flowers and it was exactly what I envisioned. Couldn't have had a more perfect wedding day!!

  This venue was perfect! It definitely topped off my fairytale wedding. Mrs. Susan is absolutely terrific! There is no way I could have picked a better person to work with while planning my reception. The home is GORGEOUS and they always keep it so clean and nice. I very HIGHLY recommend this venue if you want your wedding day to be perfect in every way.

  Susan and George were phenomenal for the entire wedding process. Their home is beautiful, with all the spotlights and twinkle lights you could want and plenty of space for guests to spread out and enjoy the party. I never had to worry about sharing the space with another wedding because we had the venue for the entire weekend. They were so accommodating with their home, and even when I was dropping in unexpectedly to show a bridesmaid or family member what the venue looked like, Susan was always welcoming and was happy to show us around. Phone calls were the easiest way to get in touch with her, but emails usually get answered within a day or two. They're a wonderful couple who know all about southern hospitality and took so much of the stress out of the entire wedding planning process.
