We loved every aspect of our winter wedding at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. Brittany went above and beyond in making the day perfect. The staff was so welcoming and all our guests were very complimentary of the hotel accommodations and food and beverage experiences. It's clear the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel staff are experts at hosting weddings - the day was seamless and felt very stress-free. We highly recommend this location for weddings! (Tip: If available, rent one of the Harbor House villas for the bride's/groom's family! It's a beautiful property just across the parking lot with lots of space to get ready and host family).

We had an excellent experience with the Harbor Hotel. Brittany made planning a breeze, even with changing our date twice. She was always responsive and professional, and the rest of the staff was, too.

The accomodations were spectacular, and guests really enjoyed their time at the hotel, and in the surrounding area.

The food was excellent, and all staff were a pleasure to work with; I received so many compliments from our guests about the food and staff.

Thanks for making our day so special, we really could not have asked for a better reception experience.

Brittany, the wedding planner, was absolutely amazing. Her attention to detail and responsiveness made me feel so comfortable and confident with choosing this venue. She was amazing from start to finish and was always available to answer questions.

The food was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. My guests were extremely happy with their food and beverages!

The only complaint I have is about the late night staff, the hotel bar closed an hour earlier than planned/discussed and the staff kicked us out of the keuka room an hour hour earlier than planned/discussed. I’m sure if the wedding planner were present, she would have taken care of these mishaps, however it was late post-wedding so she had understandably gone home for the night. We made due and moved the party up to our suite which worked out fine.

Brittany is the best and I wouldn’t change my decision for the world. Every venue needs a Brittany!

Fantastic from start to finish. Beautiful venue and helpful staff created the perfect day for us. Brittany made the planning process so easy and even though we had to change our date we never had any issues. The weekend of the wedding Dustin made sure everything was perfect for us. Everything was set up and cleaned up for us so we were able to just enjoy our weekend with friends and family. I highly recommend the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel for weddings!

The staff was great, everybody had a smile on their face! The best man asked for a coffee, which hadn't been brewed yet, and 5 minutes later they brought him one! Our guests appreciated that they could get up and dance and the servers didn't take their dinner plate before they were done, like most places do. They brought our cards and gifts to our room and packed up all our decorations and had them ready to go by the end of the night. They made the day/night go smoothly and we appreciate each and every person that was involved!

Our daughter had her wedding at the Harbor Hotel and we couldn't be happier with the entire affair. The wedding was postponed from the prior year and the hotel was very flexible through all of those difficulties. The venue is beautiful inside and out. We planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather didn't work out and moving inside was seamless. We were however able to have cocktails and pictures outside and the outdoor lakefront area is beautiful. The ceremony venue was tastefully appointed and acoustically perfect for the live prelude and postlude music. In other words the best of both worlds. The wait staff was efficient. The food was outstanding. More than one guest commented, "my steak ranked up there amongst the best that I have ever had." Most importantly the staff including Brittany and Dustin were totally cooperative and responsive both in the lead up and on the day of the event itself, following through with every detail. We would give the hotel our highest recommendation without reservation.

Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was the absolute best. The cocktail hour and reception were absolutely wonderful. The chef was fantastic, the service was unbelievable and Brittany Blair (the head planner) made sure our day was above and beyond our expectations. Brittany's attention to detail, her customer service and her overall demeanor made our day the absolute best, and the planning process so easy!!! I wish we could relive the day over and over. If you are considering this venue, I highly recommend it, there is not one thing I could say that was negative. The chef was amazing, the food was amazing. I am still hearing from our guests on how it was the best wedding meal they ever had! Everything was on time, everything was organized, the room looked unbelievable. Thank you to the whole staff at Harbor Hotel for making our day so so so special!!!

We got married at Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel last month. Our coordinator, Brittany, was fantastic. She was very responsive and sweet to work with! The venue itself is in a perfect location right on the lake. The sunsets there are incredible. The food was delicious; Chef Sean is very talented and accommodating! The hotel staff took care of all of the set up and tear down for the wedding which was a huge lift for us. The guest rooms are also very comfortable. We heard a lot of compliments from our guests about how nice everything was at the hotel and wedding. We also heard from multiple vendors that they've enjoyed working with Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel!

My wife and I knew before we even were engaged that the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is where we wanted to have our wedding reception. We had visited the hotel many times before our engagement and cannot say enough good things about the level of service, attention to detail, accommodations and the beauty of the hotel and surrounding area. When we began our wedding planning, Brittany, Heather and Stephanie at the hotel blew away even our highest expectations. From the first phone call to the day of our wedding, this event/wedding coordination team had every little detailed planned out with us and under control. They were so helpful at every step of the way, from vendor recommendations, to planning the cocktail hour and reception decorations, to the flow of our special day, this team was on top of every single thing we could think of and more. The staff did a fantastic job in transforming the Harbor Ballroom into the reception venue of our dreams; I also can’t leave out how delicious the hors d’oeuvres and dinner were! From start to finish, Brittany, Heather and Stephanie were there to make our wedding planning as simple as possible, there was absolutely no need to hire a separate wedding planner with this team. We cannot say enough about the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, thank you for making our day perfect!

The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was our first choice for our wedding because of our connection to Watkins Glen. Our wedding was nothing less then a fairy tale! From day one, they set us at ease about how easy it was going to be to plan the wedding. During the year they kept in touch with us about what we needed to do next. My husband and I had a private tasting. This was so much fun and educational. As a result, our buffet was just awesome and we didn't hear one bad review of anyone's meal. The chef even made the full buffet gluten free instead of just a few options. For the rehearsal dinner and the actual wedding day we were assigned two wedding coordinators that were simply amazing. They communicated with each other to make sure that my husband and I didn't see each other on that day, even though we were moving through the hotel during different parts of the day. They even helped my husband plan a special surprise for me for after the ceremony. There was nothing that didn't go as planned or expected. I just can't say enough about the staff. The venue is pricey, but well worth it in the end if you believe you get what you pay for!

Unbelievable experience planning our wedding at the Harbor Hotel. It was one of the best weekends of our lives and the staff at the Harbor Hotel were fantastic. I have absolutely no complaints! If only planning everything in life was this easy! Thanks to all who made this day so special - especially Anne!!

I would like to express my complete and utter delight with our experience at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel last month.
I coordinated a wedding for my sister and her now husband, and at the time I had never heard of the hotel or having a wedding there. Then my sister booked her wedding there - without even asking a second opinion - just over a year ago! My sister had fallen in love at first sight with what they had to offer, and with the Wedding Coordinator, Ann, and it didn’t take long for me to understand why she did.
The only hard part of working with Ann was learning how to spell her last name ??. She was thorough, friendly, easy to work with, and delivered on every promise she made and then some. With every meeting we felt listened to and that all of our needs would be met. There was no idea or suggestion that she refused or even balked at, and we certainly challenged her with unusual requests! She made the planning process a breeze…and dare I say enjoyable?
The wedding weekend was even better. We were all able to enjoy ourselves from the moment of arrival to the minute we dragged ourselves (unwillingly) out. Ann just “got it” – we brought pictures from Pinterest and watched as she and her staff transformed the ballroom into exactly what we had hoped and dreamed about for months. She anticipated our needs and met them before we asked before, during and after the ceremony. My sister and her husband have been hearing from dozens of people that this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.
Our one regret is that we are unable to give you repeat wedding business ??, but if anyone asks, I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend Ann and the WGHH. I would easily award 10 stars! Kudos to the hotel and all the staff, you gave us the weekend of a lifetime.

I had a very specific picture in my head for our wedding. When I pulled into the parking lot of the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel I was already sold. It was immediately grand and welcoming from the outside and only continued to deliver walking through the door. Working with Anne & Mary my planning experience was so much fun. They helped with all aspects and were so great about suggestions and getting my questions answered. They truly are professionals of their field. Being an out of town bride we certainly had some interesting obstacles to over come, they both managed to make suggestions to make the actual day go so easy. Our flowers were transported in our cars from Buffalo and sadly one of the lilies in my bouquet had wilted. Anne asked if I would be comfortable having her try to fix it with the extra flowers we had. She did an amazing job, the bouquet was beautiful. Our day went down without a hitch, and every dream I had become a reality. If you are looking for outstanding service, amazing food, dedicated & personable consultants, a beautiful venue inside and out and something unique and memorable from the beginning of planning to the big day; then this is the venue for your special day! I cannot thank these ladies enough for everything they did for us!

My husband and I CANNOT say enough amazing things about our experience with Anne, Mary and their team at the Harbor Hotel! From the moment we did the first venue tour & meeting we knew the Hotel would be our top choice! Everyone was extremely professional, great follow up and follow through & planning for the big day seemed almost effortless with their help. They were patient and went above and beyond to make sure our reception was set perfect and they catered to our needs the entire night! I can honestly say I did not feel stressed once the morning or day of my wedding. They exceeded our wildest expectations and made sure our big day was all we had dreamed!

Definitely 5 stars!!!! This venue was amazing!!! I couldn't imagine my wedding being any more beautiful and perfect than it was!!! It was worth every penny to have the attentive staff take care of all of the details of my day!! The coordinators are so great at what they do! They were able to take my vision for my wedding and make it even better!! Zero stress during the planning and the day off!!!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to any bride!!!!

Our wedding was complete thanks to this venue! I can't say enough about how prompt they were throughout the entire process. Their flexibility with anything we visioned happened without a second thought even up until the week before. Anne, Heather, and Mary were your dream come true for wedding coordinators as a bride. Our guests raved about the food, the incredible service, the gorgeous rooms, and the attention to detail throughout the entire wedding weekend. Picking this venue for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made.

This was an amazing venue for our small wedding! Mary Diesel stayed in touch with us as we were planning everything and would often times respond to emails within the day! I basically owe the ease of planning and success of this wedding to her and I cannot express how thankful I am! The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing, and the value for what you're getting is fabulous. We chose the grilled steak and stuffed chicken for dinner and everyone just loved it! We also had some appetizers passed which everyone thought were the best! We were able to drop our decorations off with pictures of how they should be set up and gave the hotel a lot of leeway for where the extras should be placed. They did a better job with decorations than I ever could have. It was amazing!!! We even forgot to have decorations for the ceremony space (somehow) and the hotel provided gorgeous decorations to line the aisle on their own. It was beautiful! We decided to go without a DJ and opted to use the hotels Bose system instead. We ran into a small hitch here because none of us thought about the fact that the iPhone 7 has taken away the aux jack to make the phone more waterproof. Because of this, we were able to use the hotel's wireless speaker but it died just before dinner. Luckily we had a wireless speaker and charger in our room so we could switch it out without anyone noticing. This was the only small hitch we encountered and it didn't really matter because we didn't have a dance floor - which is nice because our speaker wasn't very loud. After the wedding we had so many compliments on how nice everything was! My new in-laws are even in the process of planning a trip back to the hotel!

We would say this is the BEST place for a Wedding, big or small they really know how to accommodate everyone. I loved working with Mary and Anne they were so professional and listened to what we wanted and needed. I really love this place and we definitely plan on going back for more fun stays.

We hosted both of my daughters' weddings at the Harbor Hotel. There is so much that goes into planning the "perfect" wedding and Mary and Anne somehow pulled it all together PERFECTLY- They were so unbelievably responsive to all of my requests and concerns. I actually received thank you notes from several of our guests thanking us for a perfect evening!
It is the perfect setting, the ballroom is exquisite, the food was out of this world, the service was superb and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this perfect day. Thank you Mary, Anne and all the staff.

From day one Anne and Mary were amazing and very helpful. They answered all my questions and I had a ton of questions every step of the way. The day of my wedding I knew I was in great hands and tried not to worry. They made my feel so calm and kept me up to date with what was going on. The venue itself is gorgeous and all of our guest commented on how beautiful it was. We were married in October and the scenery was amazing. Throughout the entire ceremony and reception things went flawless and everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a stress free day at an amazing venue.

Not only is this venue amazing because you can have everything all in one place with a beautiful view and walkable to restaurants and downtown Watkins Glen (perfect for your out of town guests.) This venue is even better because of the incredible staff. They were more than helpful with everything leading up to our big day and more importantly they cover EVERYTHING the day off, seriously I did not have a worry in the world all day and everything went perfectly. Even on a rainy day they seamlessly moved the ceremony inside and made it look beautiful. Anne and Mary went above and beyond to make our special day perfect! This goes without saying, we HIGHLY recommend The Harbor Hotel!

The wait staff was also so attentative the day of and made our day go perfect. The food was phenomenal and every guest raved about it. Guests are still talking about the wedding. They loved the view of the harbor, the hotel rooms and the food. I highly recommend a wedding at The Harbor Hotel and we will be going back for a weekend to enjoy that view again!

This venue is set in a gorgeous area and has staff that will go above and beyond to make your day perfect. We had an absolutely amazing experience and I would highly, highly recommend you take a look at this venue. We booked it immediately and you should too!!!
