Yvette & team absolutely amazing!
Yvette and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! Everything went perfect throughout the day (and if it didn’t, I had no idea!) and we couldn’t have made a better decision choosing them to coordinate our wedding! They went above and beyond to make our big day perfect. Yvette was on point with communication and worked so well with all our vendors. She was kind, professional, and executed our vision perfectly. We are so grateful! I can’t explain how amazing it was to have absolutely everything taken care and to not have to worry about a thing! Do yourself a favor and book them!

Yvette gave us the wedding of our dreams! Interacting with her was a breeze since day one. She’s quick and diligent when responding to any queries, is highly knowledgeable of the AK area and vendors, and was a rockstar that put me at ease. I’m really happy to have had her in the months leading up to my wedding to keep me organized, recommend fun activities (we’re from OOT) and connect me with the most amazing personal chef. I was ESPECIALLY happy to have her around day of the wedding when the rain threw us all for a spin/delayed our heli tour. Looking back it all went so smoothly with her there! I was carefree and super relaxed knowing Yvette was on my side to help with any last min rescheduling, which she did with much success. She’s also just the biggest sweetheart and a very lovely person to have around. Look no further, this is your wedding planner. You won’t be disappointed! Hope to see you again soon Yvette!! ☺️ -

Wedding Planning Bliss
I began my wedding planning process on my own. As the days crept closer and the to-do list grew longer, I knew I was in over my head planning my backyard wedding. I reached out to Yvette and Wedding Creative and Design, which allowed me to enjoy my wedding day to its fullest.
If you are on the fence about having a planner, use this as your sign to make that investment. Yvette and her team worked with me and my crazy schedule leading up to the big day. They responded timely to my emails, texts, and phone calls regarding details and reservations.
I can't thank Wedding Creative and Design enough for making all my wedding dreams come to fruition. I honestly could not have done it without them. -

Yvette was a pleasure to work with!
My husband and I worked with Yvette for our destination wedding in July 2021. Yvette was our day of coordinator but she definitely went above and beyond to help us. I was in contact with Yvette constantly leading up to our wedding with questions / exchanging information. Yvette helped us set up our welcome cocktail event and even brought flowers for us. She helped me with all my prints, picked up and returned rentals. Yvette is very sweet and professional. I would highly recommend working with her if you have the chance. Yvette did such an amazing job during our wedding planning process and on the day of (even despite COVID and the pouring rain). Yvette was incredible to work with. She helped me plan a wedding in Alaska while living in Texas! And during the Covid virus! She had no problem traveling hours to our chosen location. She helped coordinate every detail and made sure our day was absolutely PERFECT!! Our intimate ceremony was exactly what we envisioned and we could not have been happier! -

Yvette is awesome! She came on as our day of coordinator one week before our wedding and took charge and made sure everything was perfect! You can tell she’s very experienced, and making her brides and grooms day go smoothly is her top priority. I highly recommend her! -

My husband and I originally planned to get married in July 2020, and since neither of us are from Alaska (we just wanted a destination wedding!), we decided to hire a wedding planner. After a few searches, referrals, and interviews, he and I chose Yvette to help us. Best. Choice. Ever. From day one, she helped us with contacting venues, searching for vendors, and finding things to do in Alaska - and all for an incredibly reasonable price! The kicker though was when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. All this preparation was put on hold for a few months, but when we contacted Yvette again to reschedule for January 2021, she jumped right on to start up where we left off! The pandemic kept switching our plans on a weekly basis: from which weekend to get married, to expected guest turnout, to changing our wedding from a full ceremony to an elopement. Even during the week before the wedding, our timeline on the day of had to be altered. And every step of the way, Yvette was there. I don’t understand how she managed to be in so many places at once, but she was! Besides floating between my “get ready” room and my husband’s on the wedding day, she also picked up our cakes from the shop, ordered and brought our florals and greenery, and kept in constant contact with our photographer and videographer to ensure that the day went smoothly. I never heard any negativity from her, even when she had to drive many miles and hours for us! I wish I could remember every little thing Yvette did for us, but it was so much. All I know is that our wedding could not have gone as smoothly as it did without her. She was flexible, understanding, organized, professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. I started this whole process with a wedding planner, and I came out of it with a dear friend. I recommend Wedding Creative and Design to anyone looking for help with their Alaskan wedding - I promise you won’t regret it!! -

We hired Yvette for our wedding in May and she was amazing to work with. We had a vision in mind for our wedding before we met with her, and she made it all come to life. Several of our vendors also mentioned how much they enjoyed working with Yvette as well. She saved the day so many times when things got misplaced- she was always ready to help but also didn’t make herself too obvious during the wedding and reception. Our special day was so much fun, and we didn’t have to worry about anything because Yvette had it covered. Thank you again for being so wonderful!
