We spoke to more than one wedding planner. However, we both knew immediately by Mrs. Lydia's demeanor that she was the one to go with. She was professional, friendly, efficient and flexible. Mrs. Lydia pulled together a beautiful beach wedding experience with VERY little time and accommodated us on everything possible. Her connection to restaurant vendors in the community helped to make it happen, despite, cancellations with our original venue, hotel and issues due to the aftermath of hurricanes in the area. She even arranged for the officiant when ours cancelled last minute and a photographer. We wound up liking the venue she arranged better than where we were originally going to have it. Her help was well worth the money to take away the stress of coordinating everything ourselves, but still allowed us to add our own personal touches to the wedding. Our friends and family had nothing but positive things to say about how it turned out, even the ones that are very hard to impress. To top it off, this was during the middle of CoVid restrictions. So, I give her a 5 star rating.Weddings by Lydia's reply:

As a videographer, it's ideal to work with planners who nail all of the details perfectly and I will say that Lydia did a great job when we worked together. Lydia was such a joy to work with. I am not from the area and she knew exactly what and where I needed to go. Her knowledge of the area was great, from the beach house, hotels, restaurants, cakes, photographers, renting chairs, the list just goes on. She handled so many things and I was able to enjoy being the mother of the bride. I would highly recommend Weddings by Lydia. She was a very professional planner but I left Pensacola feeling like I had a new friend. I would not change anything that Lydia did or recommended. As day-of wedding coordinators, Lydia and her team made sure things ran smoothly from start to finish. If there were any mishaps, I wasn't aware, which is exactly how it should be. I felt taken care of. There was a lot of repeating information, for clarification leading up to the wedding, but it ensured things were absolutely perfect. One coordinator, Lindsay, was so sweet and organized, they really have a great team and I'd recommended them to anyone looking for a day-of coordinator!Weddings by Lydia's reply:

Lydia was great!
My wife and I chose Lydia to be our day of coordinator for our wedding. We had worked so hard to plan everything and about a month and a half out we knew we couldn’t do it all by ourselves the day of. When I first called Lydia she was extremely friendly and caring and so genuine. Throughout the month and a half of planning with her she was very attentive and checked in with us. She met us whenever we wanted or needed and everything was perfect the day of. I would highly recommend lydia! Lydia was beyond extraordinary, she made my husband and I’s vow renewal something close to a magical fairytale. Lydia was only ever one phone call, email, or text away for all my questions and concerns, especially since we were from the heart of Texas, and me never having met her reassured my ever worry. Lydia went above and beyond for every absurd request I had, she always made sure every little detail was perfection down to the hard to find pink roses for my flower girls and the immaculate sunset and location where my husband and I said our “I do’s”. Thank you, Lydia, for the unforgettable memories and the joy you and your team brought to my family and I. -

Working with Lydia was a pleasure. Throughout the engagement period Lydia traveled several hours to the venue on multiple occasions to ensure everything was going smoothly. She was so kind to offer her expertise when asked. She has wonderful ideas and does everything in power to make sure your wedding day is one of the best days in your life!!! I highly recommend “Weddings by Lydia” to assist with making your wedding day a dream come true. -
Arlene Sent on 05/18/2018Lydia was a fantastic and detailed wedding coordinator. We are from North Alabama and only visited Pensacola one time to plan my daughter's wedding. Lydia was always available to my daughter and me via phone, text or cell. She even helped make sure that the exterior of the house our reception was being held at was painted a mere three days before the wedding!!!! Lydia and her team were completed devoted to my daughter and her husband for the entire day of their wedding and did an amazing job with the vendors, decorations, and the timeline. Using Lydia was the single best decision we made for my daughter's wedding.

I had the pleasure of working with Lydia as my wedding planner/coordinator. She was so kind and genuine from the beginning. We talked for hours on the phone like long time friends planninga wedding. Lydia were hands down the best decision we made in this whole of this wedding process, we really did have the best day of our lives and we will treasure it forever. For two people who were very much out of their element you were patient, understanding and clear in your communications. Thank you for the late nights, the never ending emails, the laughter and the memories. From help picking out a beach house, photographer, florist, Baker and everyone involved we were blown away by the cohesion and beauty in every aspect of our day.
Lydia is so much more than a wedding planner, she is an angel who goes above and beyond on all occasions. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication are just amazing. She is a rarity and a diligent professional, from the little details to the overall picture she made our day absolutely perfect. People don’t believe us when we said we never felt stress, only joy, but it’s true.

Carlos N. Sent on 01/20/2018Lydia went above and beyond for us! We really can’t explain how grateful we were to find Lydia. We live over in Orlando and the communication from Lydia was great. We met with her once in person and that was all we needed to get on the same page. As the big day approached she took her game to the next level for us. Then once the big day finally came her husband Greg and her other girls really helped with the whole set up and everything turned out even more beautiful than planned. Excellent excellent work!
