100% Recommend! Amazing Team!

Deepesh and his team are exceptional! They are very friendly, responsive, professional, approachable and flexible. We continue to be very happy with our decision of picking them for our wedding. All the photos and videos were outstanding. Deepesh and his team were able to capture all our special moments during all three of our wedding events and most importantly got many pictures of family and friends which was nice to see after the wedding! We have received many compliments on our photos and all our videos. One of our favorite videos from Deepesh and his team is our highlight video! The editing was flawless and captured all our important moments and blended in our vows, and our loved ones speeches. Weddings By Shooting Stars is also very flexible. I live in California and was very stressed on how I could make the pre-wedding shoot happen. But Deepesh without any hesitation said we can do it a few days after the wedding to better accommodate my schedule. This was such a nice gesture from a wedding vendor especially during a very stressful time of wedding planning.

Deepesh and his team are outstanding! They really go above and beyond to make you happy. My husband and I loved working with Weddings By Shooting Stars, and we are looking forward to hire them again soon for our future events! 100 % recommend!

Best team ever!

Dream Wedding Photography!

Deepesh and team came highly recommended to us by our close family friend and wedding planner. Right away, Deepesh made us feel comfortable, had utmost professionalism, and truly took the time to understand us as a couple to do our pre-wedding shoot and wedding event photography justice - which his team most certainly did. They are IT!

Deepesh and his team were professional, personable, and really personalized their work to us. We told Deepesh during the pre-wedding photoshoot we wanted more natural pictures, and our priority was spending as much time with our guests as possible. He and his team made sure of this and what they captured from our wedding weekend was phenomenal. Deepesh made us extremely comfortable in front of the camera, made the shoots fun for us, and truly captured our essence as a couple and highlighted that in his work. The BEST Photo/Video Team!

Deepesh and the full photo/video team (Swapnil, Robin, Ali, Ashish) truly did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail and swift ability to capture the unique moments allowed us to relive our special day once we received the final products. His team was professional, attentive and most importantly fun loving and creative individuals. They assessed our energies and knew all the right things to do to make us comfortable behind the camera while keeping the positive energy moving throughout the weekend. Additionally, Deepesh and his team have been very flexible with any edits that were needed for the final products. Fairytale Wedding!

Shooting Stars are THE BEST.

I can't tell you enough how thrilled I am with the work that Deepesh and his team have done for our wedding. From capturing the most intimate of moments with sensitivity to beautifying and editing the best photos for us all the way to capturing all of our family and friends with such care, they are genuinely the best photo/video artists we have found in the United States. They were flexible with timings, were reasonable in fees, and brought so much personality. Super friendly team and build a relationship with them! The wedding highlight reel they made for us felt so personal to us and represented the vibes and mood of our story and events so accurately. So many of the photos we found in our albums were surprising because they were so discrete about capturing them that you almost didn't notice them- but they sure didn't miss a beat or a moment anywhere. Your photographer for your wedding might be the most important vendor choice to make during the wedding planning process. Deepesh and the entire Shooting Stars team was the best choice we made, and our absolute favorite vendor.

|| We came across Deepesh’s profile on Instagram, and there wasn’t much left to discuss for our photo video team choice. His portfolio is filled with sweet, spontaneous, candid, authentic photos. He has a magical way of showing the true emotion and love behind every moment, which was exactly what we were looking for. When we spoke with him for our initial pre-wedding photoshoot, we instantly became friends. Over the next year of wedding planning, he connected with us, took the effort to learn about us as people and what we care about, and helped us feel comfortable around him, which was more important than we even realized. This comfort allowed us to be our true selves in front of the camera during our wedding week, and the genuine smiles, laughter, and love is clear in our photos and videos.

|| For our pre-wedding functions, Sehrish and Ali from his team shared the same approach. They made our families feel comfortable and created memories of our events so beautifully. Our favorite part was when they conducted documentary-style interviews of our parents and siblings during our mehendi function - the raw emotion and feelings of the moment that they captured in those videos will forever be precious to us.

|| During our wedding weekend, the way Deepesh and the amazing team captured critical moments, from angles we didn’t even know were happening, is truly magical. They helped fill in the story of our events when we weren’t present. Our friends sharing laughs, our parents greeting guests, our siblings running around getting things done - we’re now able to relive those moments over and over again.

|| The photographs of my husband and I, at every event, bring us back to that weekend every time we look at them. Considerate, fun, and experienced

On our very first call, Deepesh promised to “tell our story”, which put the concept of having a wedding photographer/videographer in a whole different mindset for me. The WSS team that worked with us (Mandar, Ali, Robin, Jess, Sana) were so pleasant, fun (but also professional) and the end result of videos and photos captured all of the important moments, people, and our vibe.

Firstly, in the hecticness of a typical Indian wedding weekend, the chance to get away and take photos/videos for 30 min before the start of each event was peaceful, intimate, and personally one of my favorite parts of my wedding.

Secondly, Deepesh really takes care and consideration to go above and beyond. Since he knows most of the popular vendors well (like our DJ and planner), they are able to coordinate and achieve things without putting stress on the couple. One example was the DJ was providing a video wall at our reception, and literally the week of, me, the DJ and Deepesh got on a text group to figure out how we could wirelessly transmit the speeches, performances, etc so we could maximize use of the wall (Deepesh needed to buy an extra part to do this, and he ordered it right away). It just warmed my heart to see them really think of this as if it was their own event or that of a family member.

Exceptional, just beautiful!

We are incredibly happy we chose Deepesh and his team at Weddings by Shooting Stars to bring our vision and ideas to life, which was not a simple task considering we had some pretty out-of-the-box ideas. Deepesh exceeded our expectations and the photos speak for themselves. He is truly talented and creative.
Prior to the shoot, Deepesh followed up with us several times to make sure we were all on the same page with the plan. Deepesh was always professional, kind, and very easy to communicate with. He immediately understood our vision and made great suggestions.
During the day of the shoot, he made sure we were comfortable. We had a lot of fun taking photos and the whole experience actually felt like we went away on vacation. A beautiful day that will always be remembered. The photos came out exceptional, just beautiful, you can tell he took his time and put in a lot of work.

Amazingg job!!

Shooting Stars did an absolutely amazing job!! We cannot thank them enough. From the beginning Deepesh was very pleasant to work with and made an attempt to get to know us on a personal level. His team was also very fun and energetic. They were all very accommodating and flexible. The effort they put into delivering high quality content was fantastic. Even though we had to push our wedding back due to COVID, they were still able to make our wedding day perfect. Deepesh was not able to make it to our special day due to illness, but that did not compromise the quality at all. His entire team stepped up and showed up big time. They captured our family and friends perfectly. We recently received all of our wedding photos/videos and are absolutely obsessed. The highlight video was so fireeee!!! We cannot stop watching it. 5 Stars for Shooting Stars

The team at Shooting stars went above and beyond for our desi wedding vision. We booked them for our Mehndi and Wedding. Deepesh provided an amazing pre-wedding photoshoot which was an absolute blast. He does a great job at making you feel comfortable while posing in public. Deepesh himself was not available for our wedding dates, so he generously arranged a second photoshoot for us to meet our "day of" film team. Our lead photographers and videographers - Jess & Swap, were a rockstar duo.

At Desi weddings, it can be a challenge to manage the family photo portion of the event. My wife and I expressed that we wanted to keep this short, so we could enjoy our night rather than be stuck taking photos for hours. Jess was an MVP here. She directed all our family members, positioned them for the best poses, and kept the night moving. Our wedding photos came out stunning, and we've had many friends inquire about who shot our wedding. We loved her leadership and energy!

Our videographer Swap was extremely fun to work with. He had so many creative angles and shots that shined in our videos. We had choreographed dancing at our events and Swap did an amazing job keeping up with the action. Ask Deepesh to show you the gimbal shot during my little brothers Ghungaroo performance.

Shooting stars also went above and beyond with the editing. Our first draft had some audio issues and we requested a number of visual changes to be made. The team went through every change we asked for and made it happen. Seriously, the customer service effort was exceptional. It's extremely rare to find anyone as passionate as the folks at Shooting Stars. They delivered us our dream wedding film/photos.

My best advice for anyone looking to book Shooting stars:

1) Don't wait to book, because they will get booked months in advance & you'll regret it.

2) Ask for Deepesh Jess & Swap if they're available!

3) Never cheap out on Photo/Video. Just don't do it. Cheap out on the Limo, the DJ, the Dessert. Anywhere else but Photo/Video. No one will remember the mango ice cream - trust me.

4) Be clear about what your photo/video vision is during the initial talks. May be hard to do if you haven't been to a lot of weddings (like me), but ask Deepesh for some of his past work and see if that aligns.

5) Patience, Patience, & Patience. We got our final wedding photos/videos about 7 months after our wedding. As someone who edits/films himself, good things take a long time to create & good vendors have a lot of clients.

We cannot recommend Shooting Stars enough & we will definitely return to them in the future for other events.

Excellent Photographers to Work With!

Me and my wife hired Weddings by Shooting Stars after meeting them through a Dulhan Expo. We were instantly impressed with their passion for what they do. Our biggest concern was that they’d be too expensive but we got a very reasonable quote given their quality of work. During the entire process they were extremely friendly, patient, and professional which was huge for both me and my wife because we naturally have RBFs. Due to the pandemic we did have to wait a bit to get our pictures/videos but it was well worth the wait given the quality of work done by Deepesh and his team. We both highly recommend Wedding by Shooting Stars for all those currently in the wedding planning process.

Baby Shower

Very talented and an awesome Team!
