As someone that is very Type-A, I knew I wanted to be really hands on with all of my wedding decisions, but I had absolutely no idea where to start. Lauren was an absolute miracle. We hired her for partial planning, and she helped us develop a timeline, coached us on what to ask for from our vendors, reviewed our contracts and was around whenever we needed her for check ins and questions. She also did all of our day-of coordination and was an absolute dream to work with.
Absolutely cannot recommend her enough - Our wedding was a smashing success and a large part of that is due to Lauren and all of her hard work. Please hire her! -

Lauren is amazing!
Lauren is phenomenal! She is thoughtful, organized, creative, and so talented. We could not have had the wedding we dreamed of without her. She took a standard brewery and helped us dress it up in a way that was unrecognizable to the brewery owner and staff without busting our budget. She’s a jack of all trades- she can arrange flowers in such a beautiful way. And, she's an amazing baker!
We hired Lauren before COVID and she easily adapted our vision once COVID caused our plans to change. As a very type A person and bride, I felt at ease knowing Lauren was taking care of everything as our day of coordinator.

Lauren is hands-down one of the best wedding planners in the industry. Do yourself the favor of hiring her for your big day and I can promise you, you won't regret it. Her organization, positive attitude, work ethic, and creative mind is something to be admired. As a bride that hired Lauren before Covid hit, she was there for all the ups and downs we had to deal with when we were finally able to successfully celebrate our day in September 2021. During that time, Lauren was nothing but positive and focused on ensuring that we were going to have the best day of our lives. Lauren was our day of coordinator, but truly went above and beyond. She did so much to make our day special, and also alleviated the stress that came along with wedding planning in the months prior to our big day. She helped me create my vision and adapt it to our venue. She accompanied me to the venue on multiple occasions and advised on the wine and food pairings. Lauren did an amazing job with our welcome bags, and she made our day so much easier because I knew that she was there managing all the vendors and setting up the venue. The table décor and layout was a vision that we created together and she successfully brought it to life. That takes a lot of skill! Lauren also has this uncanny ability to think of things you need before you even know you need it! Without Lauren, we would have been without our champagne flutes and cake cutter! She brought her personal ones from her home just in case. I can't thank her enough for all the effort, time, and creativity that she put into our wedding day and our rehearsal dinner. Lauren really does it all, from wedding prep, organization, vendor recommendations, floral arrangements, and baking (she made our cake!). She is such a talented individual and I'm so glad that we had her there for our big day. Lauren was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Just Two Months to Plan!
My husband proposed in July, and we decided that we needed to live life and not wait to get married. With COVID at the forefront of our minds, I immediately reached out to Whisked Away Weddings to help plan a quick, safe, and memorable wedding in September. I completely trusted and relied on Lauren to guide us in planning, adjusting, and helping us prioritize our needs/wants. From the flowers, the cake, the timeline, and COVID etiquette - Lauren made the process easy. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner to make my day special, especially since she had to be agile when it started raining for our outdoor wedding! I’d also comment that she delivered this exceptional service from a distance! I relocated from the east coast to Chicago. Lauren used her network/connections to help source flowers, decors, etc (I seriously did nothing!). She even drove out to The Indiana Dunes to manage our wedding. Our family, guests, and our other vendors all praised Lauren for her creativeness, grace, and professionalism. Thank you Whisked Away Weddings for giving us the most memorable day. -

Hiring Lauren was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding weekend! She came highly recommended from a friend and lived up to everything they told us about her.
From the first moment we spoke to her we knew that she understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding. She made sure to check in on us as we got closer to the wedding and scheduled meetings (in person from Richmond to Old Town Alexandria) and phone calls to make sure everything was going well. She asked the questions that never occurred to us - the details that made the day even more special than we initially thought - and made sure everything was perfect.
On the day of the wedding Lauren personally set up all of our displays and they looked even more beautiful than we had imagined! She was one step ahead of everyone, making sure people knew their dance queues and kept us on schedule. We can't think of a better person to have been with us on our wedding day. -

Hiring Lauren was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning! We were looking for a "day of coordinator," but she brings so much more to the table than just that. She worked with us in the months leading up to the wedding and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors. She also helped us with some great ideas - for example, we weren't sure about doing a sendoff because of the logistics, but she had a great idea for one and handled it flawlessly (see picture attached). Lauren made us both feel so at ease, and all of our friends and family had so many good things to say about her too. I was totally lost when it came to sketching out the order of the day, and Lauren made the whole process so much easier.
She also printed out schedules for our whole wedding party, which was amazing. Her whole mission is to make everything easier for the couple on the day of the wedding, and she totally delivers. Budgeting for weddings is so hard, but Lauren was absolutely worth every penny. -

From the start Lauren blew me away. The very first question she asked me before the big day was, "What are you worried about?" I cannot tell you how important this was and what a difference it made. By going through everything that was important to me, Lauren was able to take the lead and guarantee that I would not have any worries and the day would be stress-free.
I really did not need to lift a finger on my wedding day! Lauren has vision, Lauren has passion, and Lauren works so hard so you don't have to. Lauren had everything handled from the showing us where to order affordable candles, making table arrangements, designing place cards, gorgeous programs, and even the delicious heavenly cake. She even made a surprise grooms cake for my husband for our rehearsal dinner! After our wedding my husband and I just rode off into the sunset and she handled it all! Her attention to detailed is unparalleled and she goes above and beyond.
