Jackie's photography is absolutely stunning and she's a joy to work with! Super responsive, thoughtful & thorough. Her photos really captured our love for each other in our engagement shoot, and she offered a variety of poses and backdrops so we had a lot of selection in the final gallery. She was also super quick at turning around the gallery, which is great because I couldn't wait to see the final product!! She went above & beyond to scope out the location ahead of time and was thoughtful with poses and placements that would work well with our substantial height difference. Would highly recommend Jackie!! -

TLDR: Jackie and Matt were absolutely the best wedding photographers that we could’ve asked for! Our photos ended up being absolutely stunning and the experience working with them was 10/10. They were my favorite vendors to work with for our wedding!
Photography was one of the most important pieces of my wedding and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Something I didn’t fully consider beyond the quality of the photos themselves was the personality of the photographer impacting your wedding day experiences and I am so thankful Jackie was by my side the whole, long 18-hour day to keep me calm when plans went askew.
From start to finish, Jackie was so quick and transparent and so professional. She knew exactly what questions to ask and how to best pose me to capture my best angles. A special note about the fact that me and my husband’s families have very different skin tones, but we all looked beautiful in the photos. It’s hard to put into words how thankful I am for them, but I can certainly say if you hire them for any event, you won’t regret it! -

I highly recommend Jackie, she is a talented photographer and her work speaks for itself! Wedding photography was a high priority for me and I value the artistry of it (especially film photography), so picking a photographer was the hardest part of wedding planning for me since there are so many out there and I tend to notice every little detail. I found Jackie through Instagram and her style of photography instantly stood out to me in what I wanted. She was very responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Also was very helpful when it came to helping with my wedding timeline. I remembered being afraid that it’ll rain on my wedding but she reassured me that it’ll be okay and stayed positive/calm. Overall, Jackie has an incredible eye for detail and she shoots both film and digital (both came out stunning)! There were so many special moments/candids she captured perfectly. The photos we received are beautiful/timeless and we love all of them! -

You will not have a better photographer!
Jacquline is the best photographer you will ever find! She was passionate, caring, and professional. Her photos were extraordinary and stunning. She captured the amazing moments at my wedding and I truly love ALL my pictures!! I hope to work with her again for any future events I may hold. -

Jackie is the best there is
The photos were absolutely stunning. My husband and I cried as we looked through them. I can not thank Jackie enough!! She was so amazing the day of- so calm, so helpful, and encouraging and on top of that she provided INCREDIBLE photos for us to reflect on and help us remember the day. She love what she does and you can tell. She is so very talented as well. HIRE HER and you won't regret it. Plus, our wedding was in March in Montana and she braved the cold storm with joy and professionalism!

Jackie is AMAZING!!!
Wow!! I can not sing enough praises about Jackie from Whiskers & Willows. We had the privilege of working with Jackie for our wedding at the Montage in Laguna Beach and from the very beginning she was incredibly professional, personable, and we truly felt that she wanted to understand & capture our wedding as we had envisioned it. Her photographs online stood out to me from the beginning, but after meeting her - that sealed the deal for us. Although we had quite a few change of plans throughout 2020, Jackie was so encouraging, understanding, and worked with us as we rolled with the punches together. On our wedding day, Jackie was so on top of everything and made sure we had scheduled all the time we would need to capture those special moments with each other and with our families & friends. She is SO positive and makes you feel comfortable as yourself despite being behind a camera lens. Jackie quickly got us our photographs back and wow!! they totally exceeded all my expectations. She captured our day so above and beyond what we had hoped. I truly could not be happier with how they all came out!! It has been such a treasure to be able to look back at those photographs and immediately put myself back in those moments. All around she is THE BEST!!! We loved her so much she is now shooting my sisters wedding this year! -

I highly recommend booking Jackie and Matt for your special day! From start to finish, the communication and experience was so professional. They are the friendliest photographers and really made me, my husband, and everyone in our wedding so comfortable. Their style of photography is absolutely gorgeous. It's whimsical, timeless, and just straight up beautiful. They shot in both film and digital and thoroughly did their research to learn exactly what type of photos we were looking to leave our day with. -
Riane Sent on 06/18/2018This is a long overdue and very warranted review. Jackie and Matt allowed our wedding to be captured in a way that no one else could. Let me back up really quickly to give you context into who they are as people.
My husband (well fiancé at the time) and I had found a different photographer based in San Diego and had already gotten our engagement pictures done and were preparing for our wedding. 6 months before our wedding our then photographer found out she was pregnant (yay!!) but due on our wedding day (cue total bittersweet freakout). Once the reality set in a little, we were pointed in the direction of a couple of different options, one being Jackie and Matt from Whiskers and Willow. Immediately we were drawn to the airy, white, romantic style of their pictures, but coffee with the husband/wife team really sealed the deal. They were beyond empathetic and worked to make us feel like family. All of the obvious worries of not getting a test trial (engagement shoot) or not knowing how we would vibe on our actual wedding day were wiped away immediately (I’m super type A so that’s a big deal for me to say).
Jackie and Matt are an all-star team - couple goals right there!! They are so calm, cool and collected and they make you feel the same. They are beyond organized yet extremely flexible so you don’t have to stress at all on your wedding day but if anything changes or you need a new picture, they immediately jump to the occasion. Since we had gotten so close during the planning period, I almost felt sad that they couldn’t join in on the festivities. That was until I saw the pictures…. see attached. My mouth hit the floor. They captured our day perfectly. The emotion, the beauty, the FUN! If I got to marry my husband every day for the rest of my life, the first call I would make would be to Jackie and Matt. They will be the best decision you ever make. Worth every single cent. And if I haven’t convinced you enough, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. -
