We hired Whisper & Wire for our Vow Renewal ceremony. They were awesome! We were so impressed with the multiple cameras & drone & their overall professionalism! We are so excited to see our video! They are even including a special song in our video that means a lot to my husband & I! One other important thing to add- sometimes not everything goes smoothly on your wedding day. We had a huge crisis 15 mins before ceremony start & had to delay our ceremony by an hour. We were so worried Whisper & Wire wouldn’t be able to capture our event (understandably, with a last min time change). They were so understanding and patient & stayed with us for every minute of our big day. That is the kind of videographer you want- one that will go above and beyond like that. We definitely recommend Whisper & Wire!! -

Whisper and Wire were the videographers I didn't realize I needed! Ted captured the passion and love of our special day and created a beautiful video that we will continue to watch. Ted, and his wife Maggie, were lovely to work with. They were present and intentional about their use of the camera. Their presence was never overbearing, and Chris and I felt at ease in front of them. If you're considering a videographer, definitely use them! Ted created a brilliant memory of the day, and even included aspects that were unexpected. While our Star Wars theme wasn't overwhelming, Ted kept true to our theme, and love. I am forever grateful to Ted and Maggie, Whisper and Wire, for being a part of my wedding; taking us on last minute, and producing such an emotion filled video that we can cherish for a lifetime! The production he created was as if he had known Chris and me throughout our relationship, and even our families from way back. I cannot say Thank You enough!
Read on for a little background.
I had considered a videographer, but my now husband was against having a video of our wedding. While I was slightly disappointed that he was against it, I went along because our wedding was as much for him as it was for me. My husband is quite camera shy, so even the photographer was a big deal.
When Whisper and Wire posted a contest on their Instagram for videoing a wedding, I entered. My Wedding Planner, Elegant Savannah Weddings had shared it. After looking at Whisper and Wire's previous work, I knew I wanted a videographer and I started putting the bug in my fiancé's ear. My wedding was too close to the end of the contest, so I didn't think I won it, but Ted contacted me because of our Star Wars theme. Because of timing, Ted of Whisper and Wire worked with us on our budget.
Ted made me feel at ease as soon as we spoke on the phone to discuss details of the wedding. We were both excited to be involved with the Star Wars theme being recorded on video and not just photography. I was able to convince my husband that a videographer was essential for our day. Ted helped with some talking points to help Chris feel more at ease with the camera being around. The questionnaire that we filled out was clear and specific. I knew Ted would get a good sense of our details from his questionnaire. We spoke again for confirmation of some minor details. The day of the wedding, Ted and Maggie arrived and immediately got to work with details. Chris and I hardly realized they were around, except for some direction and them helping us to slow down at times and savor the moments. When the video was complete, I cried! I wasn't sure what to expect, but Ted was able to capture our wedding and make it personal. -

From the initial request for information all the way through post wedding, the communication was great and clear. Packages were so fairly priced and Ted even allowed me to change my package the day before based on timeline changes. But for the most important part, the video is beautiful and captured the true essence of that day. The creative shots mixed with what he thought should be the highlight of the video mixed together to create something that is priceless. Whole heartedly recommend! -

Ted made our experience so easy. He was so professional and willing to listen to everything we want and request for our beautiful wedding video. Things could not have gone smoother on wedding day! We just received our video back last night and it is PERFECT!! He did such a great job at capturing all of the most important moments and people ❤️ We will cherish this for a lifetime! -

As someone who is anxious, and pretty much planned out the entire wedding in 6 months- I have to say going with whisper and wire was a huuuge weight lifted off my shoulders! Ted was awesome. Just super easy to talk to, he was chill about everything and honest. I felt very comfortable and even my husband who is camera shy felt comfortable. The video was beautifully done…to the point where I just wanted more, and to relive that day, so I will definitely purchasing the raw footage! What I loved too was that Ted got tight shots of hubby and I dancing so that he didn’t feel awkward at all and you literally did not feel like Ted was crowding you with the camera or anything. You really didn’t know he was there which we both loved because as much as you want the video, it makes you feel like you can just be yourself without “knowing” the camera is on you. Ted also really ran around and was so patient that day. It was HOT and he was just so good about everything. His prices were unbeatable and for the quality-just exactly what we wanted. I am so glad I found him! -

During these COVID times, weddings have become even more complicated. However, Ted was a dream to work with! Communication was fantastic and he always kept an open ear. He made sure to get a sense of our personalities and what we wanted to achieve through videography. And man, did he deliver! The highlight video was fabulous, bringing happy tears to my eyes as I watched it over and over. It was absolutely beautiful and everything I could have asked for! Thank you so, so much! -

Ted & Maggie, the inspiring couple of Whisper and Wire were beyond amazing. Number one - they agreed to photograph our wedding with very short notice. They got to know us with a series of questions about ourselves and our relationship to get a better idea of how to capture the essence of our love.
My husband & I are not exactly “photo people” - we are not particularly photogenic and we’re typically bashful about being the center of attention. Ted & Maggie were encouraging without going overboard. They engaged us in taking some breathtaking shots. They were able to gather our families & friends for some memorable photos without a lot of fuss. Best of all - they were so much fun. They were truly guests of our wedding that happened to be capturing it all on film. Everything felt natural.
Lastly - the photos turned out better than we ever imagined. I am so so pleased with the collection. These are photos that will be part of our lives forever.
They sent us an easy to use link to view & download all of the pics. The whole process was super easeful, fun and with a bundle of outstanding pics to remember the beginning of our life together.

We live in Nashville and as you may guess, planning a wedding from a distance can be super challenging and stressful. We weren't familiar with any photographers in Savannah but we DID know that we didn't want our wedding photos to look like every other wedding album out there. We wanted fun and creative and REAL! Ted and Maggie made sure that they fully understood what we were looking for and MADE IT HAPPEN! They "got" that we wanted people to see our pictures and feel like they were there, even if they couldn't be. They "got" that we wanted them to capture our goofy, playful personalities and really showcase the awesome love, beauty, laughter and fun of the day. Mission Accomplished! One of my favorites is a sweet picture of me and my mom with my hubby playfully photo-bombing us. It's ABSOLUTELY who we are! They're super easy to work with, fun, creative, and flexible and our pictures turned out brilliantly! Don't end up wishing the photographer had caught a certain shot or that the pictures, while pretty, didn't capture the feel of the day - rest assured that Ted and Maggie at Whisper and Wire will think of everything and will deliver photos that will take you right back to the heart of the day. Photo-bombs and all. -

Edward was fantastic with open communication about what we wanted in our engagement and wedding photos. He and Maggie were phenomenal! They were willing to work with my out of the box vision for my wedding video which I loved. Brides, talk to your vendors more about your vision! Ask them if there's anything different they've been dying to do! Talk about what you don't like! I wanted more upbeat, faster clips, less of the cookie cutter with the letter reading and forced slow-mo laughs, less getting ready footage, and they delivered! (nothing wrong with any of that, just not for me). Ted even sent me a video he really liked from another video company out of state that he thought matched what I was saying as inspo and I loved that. Ted and his wife Maggie are so sweet. Love the drone footage, that they came to my rehearsal to scope out the property and get some early drone shots, etc. The video guestbook was SO cool and I haven't done that at any other wedding yet. We now have a heartwarming and HILARIOUS video montage of our friends giving us messages- some decently intoxicated which makes it amazing. It's pure comedy. I went from crying to laughing so hard. Also love the ceremony only edit. I was on the fence about even hiring a videographer but after consulting with Whisper and Wire I flipped to completely excited and looking forward to it. I have no regrets in choosing them and am entirely satisfied. So happy I chose to have a videographer and that I chose W&W.
