We just had our wedding here at their banquet hall and it could not have been a better experience! From Cindy answering all of my questions and making sure my vision came true, to Michelle, the staff, and her husband ensuring everything went amazing the whole day, to the delicious food from PJs Catering and the incredible drinks from the bar (thank you again to Michelle's husband), we could not be more grateful to your venue and staff. Their flexibility and affordability is hard to beat! All of my guests and my now husband had an amazing time!!

Cindy was so helpful throughout the whole booking and planning process. Very flexible and responsive. The caterer was amazing...best wedding food! And at a very reasonable price for auch good quality. We highly recommend the roast beef. The hall is just beautiful too. Our guests loved the access to all rooms and especially the balcony. All in all we couldn't be more happy with the service on our big day.

They were as helpful as they possibly could be during all of the changed for COVID. I worked with John during my wedding. He was incredibly easy to work with, and took a lot of stress away during the whole weekend. I got SO many compliments on our wedding. Plus the food is amazing. Guests loved the venue! I had my ceremony and reception there.

Not only was this venue beautiful, but Courtney single handedly made my whole experience ten times better. She’s personable, responsive, and professional. She was on top of everything and even helped me out with other parts of my wedding planning. 10/10 would get married there again!

Courtney was awesome. She answered my many questions wth quick responses. She was extremely helpful before, during and after the ceremony and reception. The food was fantasic and the building was very clean. I would highly recommend Whispering Pines. My quests raved about the venue.

We could not have been happier choosing Whispering Pines as our wedding and reception venue. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have imagined the day going smoother than it did! Courtney (the wedding/event coordinator) was the most amazing support throughout the process of planning to implementation. She went above and beyond with everything and was there to support us every minute we were at the venue. The venue is beautiful, the food was splendid, and the staff was accommodating and helpful at all times. Whispering Pines was the perfect venue and we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

Whispering Pines was my dream location, and it turned out to hold my dream wedding! I could not imagine it going any better. Rachel was beyond perfect, for the past two years she has dealt with my changes and demands, and she took it and made it better than EVER! My guests have yet to stop telling us how beautiful the location was and how amazing the food and staff were throughout the evening. They were all very attentive, and Rachel continued to check in with me throughout the night to make sure we had what we needed. I would recommend this location to EVERYONE!!!!

Whispering Pines did an absolutely incredible job for my wedding. Emily and Rachel did everything possible to make my Reception perfect. They had a storehouse of decor items that we were able to borrow, and this was super helpful. They did everything they could to make our reception as cost friendly as possible. They went above and beyond in every way! Also, the venue was perfect. It provided for a rustic and elegant feel and the guests were very comfortable. The food was outstanding and of great value compared to other area venues, especially in Ann Arbor. We had about 175 guests and it was a perfect amount for having round tables in the Banquet room, with cocktails and then dancing in the sunset room. Overall, we could not be more happy with our decision to have our reception at Whispering Pines!! I highly recommend it.

We did not end up choosing Whispering Pines for our venue, but the ONLY reason was because of the location. It was unfortunately inconvenient for our guests to get to Pinckney on our wedding date, so we had to pick a more convenient location. This venue is GORGEOUS and Rachel was so nice and easy to work with! I hope we will eventually get to host or attend an event at Whispering Pines.

I cannot say enough great things about this venue. From the very first meeting with Rachel I knew this was it.. this was where we were going to get married. The entrance way is beautiful with the huge fireplace and the balcony overhead and the large windows in the room with the large balcony outside, it’s perfect. I emailed Rachel with a lot of questions, we also had multiple in person meetings just to calm my nerves. Each time we met or spoke she always had an answer and always reassured me that everything would be beautiful and WOW it sure was.

We held our rehearsal in the room as well and it was so nice to see things starting to come together since we were allowed to set-up the day before due to our wedding being on a Friday. The day was gorgeous and there were no issues, I have heard wonderful things from our friends and family that the entire staff was so helpful, professional and willing to lend a hand with anything! I had originally had a day of coordinator that fell through but in the end I really didn’t need one because Rachel and her assistant made sure that everything was according to plan. We also had the bridal suite the morning of for breakfast and hair/ make-up and this is where I tell you that the food… ALL of the food, from the rehearsal dinner, the breakfast to the wedding dinner is some of the best food I don’t think you would even have at a 5-star restaurant. Our friends and family keep saying we should get married again so they can get dinner at our venue again!! We had the Perfectly Plated package with a couple upgrades and as we were walking table to table every person told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had.

I’m sure I’m missing some details of things I wanted to gush about but honestly if you’ve gotten this far, call Rachel, email her, meet her and go see it for yourself. I am fully convinced that our wedding day would not have gone so smooth and been so perfect if we had gone anywhere else.

I LOVE WHISPERING PINES!! Thank you so much to Rachel and Emily for helping us first plan and then execute our perfect wedding day. The staff was so helpful every step of the way, and so flexible. I planned the wedding myself, but really because we chose WP, it was like I had my own personal wedding planner in Emily. They helped us with every step, and were just unbelievable. Our guests also did not stop raving about the FOOD! It was wonderful! The setting there was perfect for our rustic, woodsy style wedding and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. We were truly delighted by the professionalism and service at Whispering Pines, and I would choose them over and over again for my big day! Best decision ever! Whispering Pines is an excellent venue for any or all of your wedding events from the bridal shower to the reception. The grounds are beautiful for the ceremony and pictures, the food is delicious and pleasantly presented, the service is outstanding, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We were treated so well. Our entire experience with Whispering Pines was beyond our expectations.

Our wedding was amazing! The staff at Whispering Pines Golf Club were so supportive and made everything perfect for our big day! Even when we needed to come by and make sure things were going smoothly they always welcomed us! We loved the venue from the second we walked in to tour to the end of the evening of our wedding! We felt like everything was taken care of and our dream wedding was made a reality!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely picture perfect!! Our guests still talk about how amazing our venue was!!

I had my bridal shower here, and it was beautiful! I loved the shape of the room and how much space there was. The food was FANTASTIC! Our room was full of windows that over looked the golf course. The ladies stayed at the shower while the men golfed, it was a perfect scenario. The coordinator was extremely nice and accommodating. Great experience!

The staff at Whispering Pines was very accommodating and worked very hard to make our wedding perfect. They did a wonderful job!

The staff did a outstanding job with the set up prior to all of the guests arriving. The decision to have appetizers on the lower level worked out well. The arrival of the bride and groom above everyone on the second level worked fantastic for the toasts to the new couple. They also looked so impressive as they were able to look down to see all of their guests.

The food stations were all great with appropriate numbers of staff to assist everyone with their food selections. The entire event was as special as anyone could have ever hoped for.

We love Whispering Pines! It was the perfect venue for our strolling dinner reception. The staff is all very personable and professional. Rachel, the event coordinator, is great at what she does. Our event was flawless, and we could not have picked a better venue!

Rachel put us in contact with Glee Cakes, whose array of desserts was fabulous. Her recommendations exceeded not only my expectations but the entire guest list. The staff was professional, courteous, very flexible, and efficient. The food was outstandingly prepared by their executive chef and was the talk of the whole wedding. They have a five star ratings who assisted in the wedding and all were very very reasonable!"

We were so happy with our wedding menu, the chef allowed me to switch things up to my liking, and it was done to perfection!! Two years later and our guests still talk about the food!! Loved it!!

The Whispering Pines Golf Course was beautiful! And the staff was very accommodating. They recently got new wood floors in the ballroom which helped improve my decision. Of course it wasn't just the floors that won me over. The price was pronominal! They worked with my budget and helped me with what they could. Layout was nice, it has three large rooms you get to use all night. You get the Ballroom, the Fourier (large enough we used it for our dance floor) and a room off the balcony that fits about 8-9 tables for people to sit at, a bar and the actual dance floor (where we put a photo booth) People were raving about the food after words. Only a few things I would like to say I was not a fan of at this location. The communication was sub-par. I have never planned a wedding before and most of you probably have not either. I had to ask a lot of questions and I wouldn't get timely answers in my opinion. Before I picked the location it was quick, after got answers a few days later and only partial of my questions would be answered. Going over the wedding details they coordinators went over a few things and it sounded nice and easy. Day of the wedding a few things happened (what wedding doesn't have snags?) But I felt like the stuff we went over wasn't very well planned, looking back on it I cant remember going over the wedding day plans with the coordinators. In reference to sitting down and wait for food, we sat down for about 30 min before we started food it was just us talking and saying we were hungry and I had to ask if we could start eating...? not right to me. Also after I had ask when we would cut the cake and do our dance. None of that was planned out it seemed (again I have not planned a wedding before I feel like there should have been more guidance in this department) other then those things the price was amazing and they did work with us. I hope this review works in a good way for the both the venue and the next wedding. I do recommend this location.
