We were so disappointed in this company. Our daughter and her fiancé both rode horses growing up, so leaving their reception in a horse-drawn carriage was one of their special requests. Whispering Winds was difficult to get in touch with and slow to respond. When we thought we had booked their services for our wedding date, we put our check in the mail to them, feeling excited to make this dream come true for the bride and groom. We understood that our reservation would not be confirmed until the check was received. HOWEVER, WE WERE NEVER TOLD that another wedding party was also interested in the same date and time as us. Consequently, after we mailed our check, they casually called the bride who lives out of state to inform her that they had given her date to another client who got their check in earlier. While this practice is certainly legal, it was handled rudely and unapologetically. If anyone had bothered to inform us of any urgency, I would have driven the check from my home in Greenville to their place of business the same day. Even though this company is well-known, they were NOT PROFESSIONAL or polite as you would expect of a business in a southern town like Greenville. We were able to find another carriage company who provided the service for us beautifully! I recommend you shop around for a smaller vendor who has a beautiful white horse named Paul, and white carriage and a gracious driver in a lovely gray hat and vest to provide the perfect ending of your wedding day.

User1247483 Sent on 07/18/2013We used Whispering Carriages for our exit and were thrilled with the outcome. The carriage was exactly where it was supposed to be at the perfect time. The driver was extremely friendly and willing to take us where ever we wanted to go. Working with them was extremely easy as well. I would highly recommend them for any function.
