I am so glad I chose Whit Hazen for my wedding florals. I am a flower and color lover, so I wanted wedding florals that were different, vibrant, sculptural, and added to the space. I found Whit on instagram and her color palette, artistry and the sculptural quality of her work stood out from all the other florists. I really consider her a floral artist and not a florist. She can go as big or refined as you want. She took notes from our run through very well and made all the changes I wanted and everything turned out literally perfect. I understand her prices are higher than perhaps a typical florist, but I really think you are paying for her eye and special touch. If I hadn't hired someone with such a unique perspective I think I would have been more worried about knowing more about what everything was going to look like, but I really just trusted her to execute everything and she really did an amazing job. Worth it, in my opinion, for someone who really cares about flowers. All our guests were raving about the flowers and how they had never seen anything so cool at a wedding before. -

Amazing!!!
Whit's work is absolutely stunning. I have followed her on Instagram for a while and pretty much loved everything she posted so I was very excited to work with her for our wedding. She captured exactly what we were looking for. I (and all of our guests) were blown away by the florals at our wedding. Working with Whit was easy, she helped visualize what I had in my head and she worked with us to adjust some items as our guest count/needs changed as we got closer to the event. I would highly recommend working with Whit! -

Whit was the florist for our wedding and I can’t tell you how incredibly grateful we are to have found her. Her floral arrangements, flower choices, colors, and vases were BEYOND GORGEOUS!! Like, actually the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen in my life…period. I am horrible with design and colors and know almost nothing about flowers. When we first chatting with Whit, I gave her some super vague ideas about what I was looking for (mostly telling her I like “weird-looking” flowers). Somehow from our conversations, she was able to create a gorgeous color palette for the wedding and create a floral design that was beyond what I ever thought was possible!
In our early conversations with Whit I let her know that one of my top priorities was sourcing sustainably produced flowers that were grown locally and incorporating as many living plants (that would live on after the event) as possible. She completely delivered on that front as well - she sourced all of our flowers from California and Oregon growers and used living herbs as our centerpieces. The herbs were such great party favors to give away to guests at the end of the night.
On top of creating a stunningly beautiful and sustainable design, Whit was super responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding, we had several calls with her to discuss the design and scope, during which she provided really helpful suggestions to both create a cohesive design and keep our budget down. On the day of the event, her and her team were super professional and efficient.
I can’t say enough about how much we loved working with her. She took our wedding to another level! -
