  The best in the business

  When we decided to get married in Greece, we knew we would need a wedding planner to be able to make our vision a reality. Having worked for years in luxury fashion event planning, we were quite knowledgeable and particular in what we wanted and we had a clear vision and aesthetic.
  
  We interviewed a few wedding planners but Vana stood out from our very first call. She was extremely friendly, highly organised and a fantastic communicator. We worked with Vana for almost two years, and she made the whole process fun and one of the best experiences of our lives. No request is too difficult for Vana and her team, no detail is missed and there is nothing they cannot pull off. They introduced us to some fantastic vendors, they always had a few options at different price points for us to choose from, and were never pushy in any direction. When we would share lists of photographers, make up artists etc. that they normally don't work with, they would research all them and give us their feedback. They would then pick up the conversation to sort out details.
  
  Vana, and her sister Sofia who works with her, are extremely organised - they love a spreadsheet, which we aboslutely adored as it helped keeping us on track. They gave us honest feedback on all the elements of the wedding - advising on what was and was not possible with our budget. If we were unsure or unhappy with any elements, they worked hard to find solutions, and always succeeded.
  
  On the day of the wedding, they were super organised across all the different elements. We didn't have to worry for a single thing and everything we were asking for on the day, was done within 5 minutes.
  
  Most importantly, Vana and Sofia are fantastic people - kind hearted, funny and knowledgeable professionals. We absolutely feel that we made two friends for life out of this process, and for this, we could not be happier.

  Wow - We couldn't recommend anyone better

  When we were booking our Greek wedding I was apprehensive. My husband is Greek and I'm English and I've dabbled in some wedding planning years ago so am fairly particular, but we knew we needed someone to help us pull off the Athens Riviera wedding dream. Vana and her team were just incredible. We viewed White Ribbon instagram and fell in love but more so when we had our first call. Throughout the whole process no detail was too small or request too big. (Even throwing in a pre party 3 weeks before!) What I loved most was there was always options, and not just 2! I'd have 8 photographers, or 6 makeup artists and if I'd found someone else, Vana would look into them too. She kept us on track for timelines and always felt like she was on our team.   Seamless Coordination of our wedding in Paros

  We chose White Ribbon because it was the only company, from a large number of planers we spoke to, that understood what little time we had available to plan our wedding, given our very busy work schedules.
  
  Although Vana was very thorough and detailed, she made the process seamless and fun. The serenity we felt while planning the wedding was priceless. It was the perfect combination of professionalism and personal support that we felt while working with her.

  The best choice for our wedding!

  White Ribbon Boutique Events was the best choice we made when starting to plan our wedding abroad!
  Vana and her team was there for us every step of the process.
  Throughout the planning of our wedding, she guided thoroughly, was very responsive to all our questions and demands and planned everything in detailed, something that we very much appreciated.
  Apart from wedding planning she was very helpful with our guests accommodation and travel tips, and since we were having a destination wedding this was a huge bonus for us.
  Vana knows multiple wedding vendors, across all levels, so we had a very wide variety to choose from. Even in cases where our budget was limited she found a way to get us what we wanted while staying within our budget.
  
  We are so grateful for all the help and advice she offered us in the months leading up to our wedding. She created a dream day that our guests are still taking about.

  Wedding in Tinos

  We worked with Vana to pull together our wedding in Tinos - September 2022. The day was so beautiful and full of memories we'll never forget. The team were very professional on the day, they all looked wonderful in similar style clothing which blended so nicely with the rest of the aesthetics and the event flowed with no issues. Thank you to everyone for an incredible day to remember (many of our guests still talk about it)!

  Wedding Perfect in the age of COVID

  Where do I event start? Vana is such an incredible wedding planner. From our initial meeting we knew she was the wedding planner to choose.
  
  We originally started working with her in 2019 to plan our wedding in Greece but due to Covid we were finally able to celebrate in September 2022.
  
  Although the pandemic occurred, and the situation was unknow to everyone, she made us feel safe, she was patient with us through our 2 year postponements and negotiated on our behalf to keep our bookings without any extra charges!
  
  
  
  We planned 3 events with her and hosted close to 80 people from all around the world including family and friends. It made a real impression to us that she handled each event with the same focus as she did with our wedding day.
  
  Her taste in design and style was excellent, something which we fell in love when seeing her portfolio. What really stood out to us was that, unlike many planners, she makes sure that her décor proposal ties in harmoniously with the venue.
  
  
  
  Lastly I have to praise her on even remembering details that we discussed in our initial meeting - 3 years before the actual event.

  It is impossible to explain how she brought our dream day to reality, given that our home was thousands of miles away.
  From the start, Vana helped us locate a great venue in Paros that would accommodate all of our guests. She then helped us bring our vision to life without compromising our budget, by working with local florists, caterers, dj, bars, etc.
  When it came time for the ‘big day’ Vana and her team were all there from start to finish in a seamless way. She made sure everything ran smoothly from the morning, getting ready photos all the way through the party. It truly would not have been the perfect day without all of her help!

  She quickly understood our vision and the kind of wedding and decor we wanted. She also was able to take our vision and help us imagine components we would have never thought of on our own.
  
  The biggest reward was the praise we received from our guests. Many of them telling us our wedding was literally the best wedding they had ever attended in their entire lives. This proved to be the best choice we could have ever made.

  Pivotal in creating our dream wedding

  We set up Skype calls with several wedding planners to help plan our wedding in Greece and we knew Vana was our perfect match right away. She had already impressed us with her exquisite taste levels on her social media of previous weddings she had planned, but her instant warmth and friendliness helped create an instant bond. Having a career in events, I came in with very high expectations around every detail and Vana made the experience incredibly seamless and pleasurable. She and her team were a total joy to work with. Most events always seem to have a few last minute hiccups, and if there were at our wedding, we didn't know. Vana kept everything stress free and easy. Which says a lot when we chose to get married on the beach in a small island with very little infrastructure! She made the impossible possible and we can't recommend her enough to any other couples thinking of getting married in Greece. It is worth noting we had three events when considering the price we spent (a welcome event, wedding day and pool party).

  We planned our Antiparos wedding with Vana at White Ribbon events and were very impressed with her professionalism, flexibility, and eye for detail.
  
  Our wedding was cancelled/rescheduled multiple times throughout 2020 and 2021 but throughout the process Vana provided a reliable, optimisitc and professional support to keep our dream alive. We really cannot thank her enough for making it all happen.

  Planning a destination wedding for 100+ attendees in Greece can be a daunting task, especially if you live abroad. But with the help of White Ribbon, we were able to find the perfect vendors, rentals and everything in between. From start to finish, Vana and her team made the planning process totally stress-free and executed our vision flawlessly. She was our eyes and ears in Greece and felt like we had a person we could trust locally to make sure every little detail and demand we had was going to be handled.

  When my husband and I first got engaged, we knew we wanted to have a wedding in Greece but felt scared about planning a wedding from 5,000 miles away and not being able to speak the local language.   My husband and I would love to highly recommend the entire White Ribbon Events team for their patience, professionalism and dedication to love.
  White Ribbon Events was first recommended to us by the day-of events coordinator at the Costa Navarino Resort. White Ribbon was one of their preferred events planners.
  From the onset, we communicated primarily by email given our location and time zone differences. We were attempting to plan a destination wedding from Boston, Massachusetts. We corresponded primarily with Vana Efkleidou who speaks fluent English, has a law degree (wedding planning involves many contracts!) and is absolutely lovely. Vana is organized and reassuring at all times making her a pleasure to work with.
  White Ribbon Events has a beautifully unique and contemporary style. Several style boards were assembled during the planning phase that were detail oriented without being restrictive. Vana was perpetually open-minded to our feedback while suggesting excellent alternatives. Each and every proposed design was the seed of a stunningly original wedding on par with the wedding blogs (on which WRE is featured often).
  Vana and WRE were invaluable when it came to vendor recommendations, timing logistics and cultural /religious assistance. Vana assisted with all of the religious and legal paperwork in both Greece and the US that involved quite a bit of homework, document translation, foresight and communication with priests, embassies etc.
  On the BIG day White Ribbon Events were a tremendous team. They were everywhere when I needed them and efficiently negotiating behind the scenes at the same time. In fact, I’m confident that I don’t even know the full extent of their efforts but the night was flawless.

  From the onset, we communicated primarily by email given our location and time zone differences. We were attempting to plan a destination wedding from Boston, Massachusetts. We corresponded primarily with Vana Efkleidou who speaks fluent English, has a law degree (wedding planning involves many contracts!) and is absolutely lovely. Vana is organized and reassuring at all times making her a pleasure to work with.
  White Ribbon Events has a beautifully unique and contemporary style. Several style boards were assembled during the planning phase that were detail oriented without being restrictive. Vana was perpetually open-minded to our feedback while suggesting excellent alternatives. Each and every proposed design was the seed of a stunningly original wedding on par with the wedding blogs (on which WRE is featured often).
  Vana and WRE were invaluable when it came to vendor recommendations, timing logistics and cultural /religious assistance.
