Courtney was the absolute BEST for our engagement photoshoot. I sometimes have a hard time opening up to someone new, and my nervousness normally shows in the pictures. However, Courtney broke the ice within seconds of meeting her!! She's not just an amazing photographer, she also kept us laughing during the whole shoot. She's such a genuine person that makes you feel very comfortable, like you're with an old friend.
I seriously recommend using this business for any of your photo needs! Courtney is the bee's knees! -

Working with Courtney was a dream! She was incredible to work with from the start with our engagement session all the way through to the wedding day and beyond. My husband and I are a little more on the shy/awkward side - especially when it comes to taking photos, but Courtney made us feel so comfortable and knew exactly what to have us to do to get some beautiful and fun shots :)
Courtney was so fun and helpful throughout our special day and the questionnaires she sent us to fill out were so helpful for us to give her any heads up and set our day up for success. Our wedding day and timeline went off without a hitch and everyone has had wonderful things to say about our photo/video team and the sneak peek photos! Oh, she was also so patient with our chaotic pups who wanted to join in on some photo fun! We have zero regrets choosing Wild Opal and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!! :) -

Courtney and her team are the absolute best!!! They made our day so incredibly special from start to finish. She was extremely helpful throughout the planning process from sending us recommendations on what colors to wear for engagement pictures, to finding the perfect background, to being the ultimate hype girl. She did the absolute best job of capturing not only amazing pictures but our personality as a couple in the pictures. Coming from someone that doesn’t like to “stop and pose for a picture”, she made the whole experience fun and enjoyable the entire time. Courtney is absolutely the best! She made our engagement and wedding photos so relaxing and fun. We felt like we had a close friend throughout the entire process helping in so many areas. My now husband said he would have been lost with out her direction the day of the wedding. Not only is she a spectacular person she is a phenomenal photographer. We hate photos of ourselves self and I am BEYOND obsessed with the photos she took. I can look back at the photos and relive not only how amazing of a day it was but how comfortable she made us feel. Engagement photos/wedding photos and videography
When we met Courtney in 12/2019 we had an instant connection with her. My husband and I are very awkward when it comes to taking pictures and being lovey dovey in front of everyone, but once we got our initial jitters out and got more comfortable with Courtney after our engagement photos, our wedding day was so natural and relaxed when it came to all of the photos that needed to be done. We also hired the Wild Opal team to do videography for our wedding day and after falling in love with Courtney it was just that much easier to fall in love with Will. We can’t wait to work with them again in the future and 1000000% recommend this power couple dream team to shoot your wedding. -

Excellent Quality of Work and of the People
Courtney and Will are excellent at what they do. We felt instantly comfortable and loved working with them. So much effort was made and we love their editing, artistry and effort. We valued all the time they spent with us. We had engagement photos, wedding photos and hope to get a special bridal shoot with our horse done as well. We could not imagine anyone else! We would recommend to anyone (and already do) -

Absolutely LOVE our photos
It’s taken me awhile to even draft up this review because I genuinely struggled to put my thoughts into words. Courtney is one of the most kind, adventurous, free-spirited souls I have ever met. She makes you feel so comfortable during your session without even trying and so much fun. Seriously, can I just move to Colorado so I can snatch her up for photos every few months and be her bestie?! I definitely contemplated it. I’m one of those people that has a hard time opening up and acting “natural” or trying to live in the moment when there’s someone with a camera two feet away, but it didn’t take long for me to come out of my shell (more than I have in any other photo session) and I’m so grateful for that because the photos we are left with, I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for being such an amazing photographer. You almost don’t appreciate all the small things until you hire someone that does after hiring so many that don’t. If you’re even questioning whether to book with Courtney, just save yourself the headspace and do it, you won’t be disappointed!

Highly Recommend Wild Opal Photography!
I love Courtney! I was her makeup artist for a styled shoot that she put together this summer. That was my first time working with her and she is so great to work with. She listens and communicates well, she's so friendly, and the photos turned out amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Engagement Photos
Wild Opal Photography was amazing to work with, I would highly recommend! Courtney was so personable during a situtaion I thought could be very awkward. I absolutely loved working with Courtney for clients of mine to capture their proposal. She was super responsive and willing to do the things I needed from afar. She was awesome with problem solving and had a great attitude toward flexibility with events like a proposal. She provided an awesome gallery, editing style is trendy but still classic and she’s great at capturing true emotion. Lovely to work with, highly recommend. -
