Wildflour was recommended to us by our venue and they did not disappoint. We worked directly with Jen Moyer for the whole event and were extremely happy with their service. After a few conversations back and forth about what we were looking to do, we were able to do a tasting before we committed to hire them. (a big plus in this industry). The food was AMAZING...we did a toned down Thanksgiving type meal for dinner and everyone was giving compliments all night. My hubs is a world traveling foodie, so we went a little more exotic for the apps and those were a big hit too. In lieu of a cake, I did apple crisp, cider donuts and a s'mores bar...again fabulous. Just wish I could've taken some home afterwards.
Not only was the food amazing, but Wildflour is full service and took care of all the set up and clean up, bartending and coordination with every other vendor that showed up that day. Jen and her staff were fabulous and I would definitely recommend them.

Jen was amazing throughout the entire wedding process! The food was delicious, the service was perfect, and Jen made everything go like clockwork. My husband and I decided to get married at an unconventional venue that hadn't really done full weddings before, so we really had to do much of the planning ourselves. I went into this wedding planning having no idea what to do and Jen guided me through the whole thing seamlessly. Not just easy to work with, but enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend!!

Wildflour was really excellent for our catering. They pretty much did everything, putting out our signs and guest book and I could totally trust their suggestions since I had no idea what I was doing. We didn't want a sit-down dinner, we just wanted a ton of apps all night and they had great suggestions, delicious food and great prices. Jen was so helpful and patient with my tons of emails and frazzled-bride self. She made sure I ate at the wedding (without her, I wouldn't have!) and everyone said the food and drinks were great. I highly recommend them!

We actually found Wildflour through our friends who were getting married and were using Wildflour as their caterer. When we attended their wedding, we were pleased with the service and the food was awesome. It was a no brainer that we were going to use Wildflour for our wedding. When putting together our menu, Bobby listened to our ideas for food and put together a really fun menu of foods that my husband and i both loved. During the planning process, Bobby was always available and so friendly and very respectful of our budget. The day of our wedding came and we had to change the time of our ceremony/wedding 2 times within 24 hours due to the hurricane, and Bobby and his staff were more than accomodating. The food, service, and staff at our wedding were amazing. We received so many compliments on the food and the displays, I have nothing negative to say about Wildflour and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We worked with Bobby at Wildflour and he was great. He answered all of my emails and phone calls quickly. He even provides a cell phone number so you can reach him almost anytime. We thought the food was great, they are really flexible so will put anything together for you if you ask. The prices are really great too, and they seem to be very flexible on prices to so that they can work within your budget. Everything went very smoothly on the wedding day, as least if there were problems I didn't see them! They worked well with some of my last minute changes and requests also. I didn't use their bakery for the cake, so I can't comment on that. Overall, I hightly recommend Wildflour!

The venue we used had 13 or so approved caterers. I researched 4 -5 of them. Wildflour Catering was the first and only tasting we had and the food and service that day was so good we didn’t even bother going anywhere else. At the wedding we had passed appetizers, a buffet dinner and a small cake and cupcakes, all from Wildflour. Our guests were amazed by all the food and I still crave the mushroom ravioli with asparagus pesto. We worked with Amy Hudon, who has since left the company (our wedding was her last!), so other than the food being excellent, I can’t say the next person will be able to duplicate Amy’s professionalism, attention to detail and overall amazing-ness.

Working with Amy was like getting a wedding planner included in the price of our catering. She helped coordinate with the rentals and liquor vendors and she and her staff set up the whole reception. She was so flexible in allowing me to change my mind on appetizers and the buffet set up numerous times and never complained. We even did a second mini-tasting of additional appetizers when we came in for our cake tasting. She did a walk-through of the site a month before the wedding going over every minute of the ceremony and reception. That weekend we left everything in a room for her with a few instructions and by the night of the reception it was perfectly set. I don’t know if that is normal for caterers, but it felt extra special to me.

Hopefully Wildflour will continue with their excellent food prep and find another catering manager with her skills and professionalism. (Also, Amy’s moved on to the Estate at Moraine Farm in Beverly so I expect anyone looking there will have an excellent experience.)

Amy from Wildflour was SO kind, patient, thoughtful, and TOTALLY executed well on bringing in AMAZING food for our wedding! She let us a pick really delicious vegetarian/vegan options to accompany an avocado/mango -topped mahi mahi (fish) main dish -- helped us have an exotic fruit juice bar with our hors d'oeuvres -- and helped our reception turn out splendidly. VERY reasonable prices, along with excellent customer service. HANDS-DOWN RECOMMENDATION!!

We worked with Jen from Wildflour and she was fantastic! She was very responsive, professional and she knew our venue well, so she was an incredible resource in the overall planning process. We first met to do a tasting. We really enjoyed the food and the fact that we were able to make changes to accommodate our dietary needs/wants. She helped organize the rental company, as well as the beer/wine order for our wedding. Everything was seamless. We were very impressed with how well everything was organized by her and Wildflour. We also ordered the cake through them, which worked out really well. We were glad not to have to add on yet another vendor to our growing list.

Our guests were very pleased with the food and made many comments about how much they liked everything.

Don't be fooled by the location of this outstanding company. It is located in the back of an ugly building in Charleston but what comes out of that building is amazing. People are continuously commenting on how good the food was for our wedding and the price was reasonable.

The cake decor was not at all what I asked for (and it wasn't super important to me) but the taste of the cake was outstanding. Amy from Wildflour worked closely with my venue and was able to handle some changes that were thrown at us in regards to liquor licenses etc. making sure I didn't have to get involved. She also provided above and beyond the normal catering role by taking some things to the venue for me and setting them up as requested.

Do not chose this caterer for your special day!

Our experience with Wildflour Caterers of Charlestown MA at the Cambridge Multicultural Art Center was poor for several reasons.

For a wedding of 125 guests, this caterer was grossly understaffed resulting in hundreds of empty glasses, toothpicks, skewers, used cocktail napkins, bottles or glasses littering the reception/cocktail area for the duration of the reception. And, there were no trash receptacles for the guests to dispose of this trash.

The organizer did not orchestrate the flow of guests going to the food stations which resulted in long lines. When the guests FINALLY reached the station they were faced with trying to fit their dinners on salad plates. There were NO dinner plates!! Ar the New England station guests tried to fit steamers, oysters, fritters, shrimp, and chowder on a salad plate. At the other station, guests struggled to fit tenderloin, turkey, potatoes, vegetables, cranberry and rolls on a salad plates which resulted in spills and food scraps everywhere. The stations looked grossly unappetizing and dirty. What a mess! And, the staff just overlooked the mess. Additionally, there were no soup crackers for the chowder, no salt, pepper or butter. The caterer ran out of basic items such as potatoes, rolls and coffee. The food was tasty but not nearly as good as it was at the initial tasting. The coordinator placed the wedding cake in a busy area while the staff was setting up and it was bumped. Hence, there was in a huge split down the side of the cake. The bride and groom where forced to cut the cake early and it was backed up against a side wall to hide the damage so only a very few of the guests witnessed the cutting of the cake.

This caterer was grossly understaffed and guests

We had a terrible experience with "Wildflower Catering," which then transitioned to "The Bread Lab." While our initial coordinator was helpful, after a few months our phone calls and e-mails were not returned. A couple weeks later, we found out from our venue (not through our caterer!) that our original catering coordinator was no longer with the company and that we would now be working with the owner, Deana Martin.

Trying to coordinate discussions or get our questions answered was next to impossible. Deana would frequently say she would follow up in a few days, only to disappoint us again and again. We soon realized that Deana would tell us what we wanted to hear, and then either forget or not care about helping us. It also did not help that Deana was often rude to us when we spoke and did not seem to genuinely care about the effects her delays and poor actions were having on our other wedding vendors.

For example, we asked for updates to our contract (BASIC changes to the food and quantities) at least 3 times, and on the phone she always said something to the effect of, "Yes, that's no problem, I'll have it in a couple of days," but she would never send it. After the repeated e-mails/phone calls (about a month later) when the updates FINALLY came, the contract still had errors in it in areas that we made absolutely clear. And it was no surprise that trying to get the mistakes fixed was just as difficult.

It got so bad that 2 weeks before our wedding we had to switch caterers - losing our deposit! As bad as the loss of money was, it was the STRESS that really got to us and was something we did not want to deal with up until and during the wedding. Our new caterer ended up being SO MUCH easier to work with. Within 2 weeks of our wedding, our new caterer was able to do everything easily, responded to our phone calls, and genuinely seemed happy to make us happy! We did not experience any of these things with Deana.
