Gorgeous & delicious cakes!
Olivia's cakes were absolutely delicious!! And just stunningly beautiful. The attention to detail and ability to match the cake style to the vibe of our wedding was spot on. We gave her our wedding Pinterest board, agreed to colors and general style, and she did the rest. Tasting was an easy to-go box pick up situation, which was easy. We chose the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry jam for one cake, and honey thyme cake with browned butter buttercream frosting. While the chocolate was great, the thyme one was the smash hit, and quite unique. Olivia was easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. We would recommend her to anyone! -

Perfectly Unique
We loved working with Olivia! She did a beautiful job on our cake! She had such unique flavor combinations I would have never even dreamt of! Some of them sound like there’s no way they could work together but we ended up choosing those for our big day! Thank you so much Middle Name Baking! -

After COVID changed our entire plans for our wedding in IL, we decided to elope in Washington state. Everything was planned in 3 months and entirely online. We had gotten referred by our photographer to checkout Wildflower Cakes--and without any knowledge of them, we did. We reviewed their website and immediately fell in love with their designs and natural beauty of their cakes.
We opted for an almond cake with brown sugar filling, without even sampling, it just sounded good. My now husband worked with Olivia entirely online and the communication was amazing. Not only did the cake tasted absolutely stunning!
The flavors exploded in your mouth but without being overwhelming. Honestly, not to be biased, it was the best wedding cake (or cake in that matter) that we have ever had. All of our guests kept asking "what flavor is is?" "where did you get this?". SUCH A HIT and so amazing.
Thank you Olivia and team for being part of our magical day and although we did not get to meet you--you made such a sweet impact on our day!

Olivia was very communicative, professional, and friendly through the process of designing and delivering our cake. Since it's COVID times, we met in a park to do cake testing. Her cake testing set up was adorable and very tasty!! We loved all the cake options we tasted, and chose two of her very original flavors for our wedding cake. We opted for her to deliver our two tier cake (highly recommend doing so, as she has a whole method) to our venue.
Day of she arrived and set up the cake, being very respectful of our preparations in the next room. When I came over to look, a masterpiece in progress was unfolding before me! We had opted for rose gold detail to match our rings, with fruit and flower decor. The final cake was absolutely gorgeous & delicious. Perfect density, texture, flavor, and sweetness. We are so thankful we found a cake vendor with such style, flavor, and kindness! The best in the area, by far!!! -

Just Delighted
I was very blessed in my experience with Olivia @ Wildflower cakes. I was having a challenge finding where I could get a cake at the time. My brother and sister-in-law actually purchased the cake for us and my sister-in-law put me in touch with Olivia. She was local and always friendly. It was easy sharing my cake ideas with her.
I’m my mind, a wedding cake should be white. I wanted to incorporate the wedding colors, which she did with flowers, my husband and I agreed on berry cake with berries on top and berry filling, and we wanted an element of gold.
The night before the wedding, I was watching videos to unwind. One was a cake fail where the cakes were ugly, lopsided, and the wrong color. When my husband and I walked into our backyard reception and saw the cake… it was nothing like that! It looked perfect! Some of the berries were even gold!
I desperately wanted a cake but wasn’t as particular on flavor. My husband is from Pakistan, and he is used to a fresh pineapple cake with whipping cream. We were able to special order a grooms cake that was nearly like he remembered and everybody loved it!
For the rest of the cake, Olivia has yummy flavor choices. We went with almond (eastern flavor) with blackberry filling, and vanilla caramel. Hmm, but I am partial to the special order!

Olivia made us a beautiful and absolutely delicious cake for our elopement that we celebrated with our parents and siblings. We got the delicate almond cake with buttercream frosting, and it was amazing! Two weeks later we're all still talking about how good the cake was. Thank you! -

When we reached out to Olivia with a left-field request, she accepted the challenge with such enthusiasm that we knew we were in good hands. Though she had never done pies for a wedding or other event of that scale before, she said she was excited to try. After we had our tasting with her, we were SOLD. Her desserts are INCREDIBLE, and beautiful as well. A few of our guests are STILL talking about the pies and the cake, over a month later, and my husband's and my only regret is not getting a piece of all 8 pie flavors that she made for our wedding. Olivia was responsive, willing to customize the pies to our preferences, and even dropped off a jar of her DELICIOUS homemade Northberry Jam for us to enjoy at home. I would absolutely recommend Wildflower Cakes to anyone getting married on the Peninsula!

I asked Olivia for a 2 tier wedding cake. The bottom was to be a black fondant hexagon shape and the top a round cake with accordion looking folds. We agreed on the color and texture matching the attached picture. When the cake arrived all of my other vendors were shocked she would send a cake that looked like that.
It was not the color or style we agreed on and the black fondant looked horrible and looked like someone pinched it together where the hexagon edges were supposed to have met.
I finally saw a picture of it an hour before the ceremony and was horrified. We called every bakery and grocery store on Whidbey island and the grocery store was able to make a cake in time and our coordinators decorated it. It looked so much better than what we received from Olivia, but we had to delay the wedding an hour to pull it together.
I reached out to Olivia the next morning asking how it had gone so wrong and different than we had agreed on. After 2 emails she responded on Thursday and only said I’m sorry it didn’t meet your expectations and she would not issue a refund.
I was shocked that she could not even explain herself. Everyone who saw it agreed it was an unacceptable representation of a cake. If what I wanted was above her skillset, she should have politely declined.
Please beware and ask for pictures ahead of time. I didn’t think I could be anymore clear with specific pictures but I was SO wrong and it nearly ruined my day. I had chosen such a unique cake and been telling everyone how excited I was and it was such a huge let down.
