  Easy setup and perfect ride

  It was easy to schedule an SUV to pick me and the groom up from our wedding at the Morton Arboretum. The SUV was nice and spacious. They were on time for pickup. I highly recommend them.

  Mixed opinions

  Windy City Limo was great to work with when booking. They were efficient, prompt and offered great pricing for the service that we needed.
  
  Our drive however was the complete opposite. He was very cranky the entire night of our wedding, did not listen to us (bride & groom) and was rude to the bridal party and guests. The hotel was a 3 minute drive from the venue and he made comments about not wanting to take extra trips back and forth before our ceremony- we did not do a first look and so it was important to take separate trips for the bridal parties, our family needed an additional trip to the venue due to size... The hotel was a 3 minute drive from the venue and he made comments about not wanting to take extra trips back and forth before our ceremony- we did not do a first look and so it was important to take separate trips for the bridal parties, our family needed an additional trip to the venue due to size of the groups. He had his GPS, however he was unsure of where to go and yelled at the bridal party to tell him where to go on the first trip- a bridesmaid had to pull up directions and guide him. Then when pulling into the parking lot I (the bride) pointed to the left to show him the Haley Mansion and asked to drop us off in front of the walk. The Haley mansion is beautiful and impossible to miss however the drive slowly turned to the left and parked next to a bush on the opposite side of the parking lot. When corrected he was very grumpy and struggled to turn the bus around. We were late by this time and ended up getting off the bus to run across the parking lot and into the venue so we could get started with pictures before guests arrived. At the end of the evening he again was very cranky when asked to wait for 2 more guests who were on their way out of the venue. He did not talk to anyone the entire evening aside from his complaints to us. Perhaps our drive was having an off day, however he was very unprofessional and I would hope that this is not the norm. The company was very pleasant to work with prior to our big day.

  Prompt and professional limo service with simple and clear booking

  We hired Windy City Limos for our wedding, and were very happy with their work. They provided a clear set of prices up-front and let us customize our booking to exactly what we needed. The driver arrived promptly and was happy to adjust the schedule based on some last minute changes we encountered. The car was clean and spacious. Overall, Windy City provided us an excellent limo service and we recommend them highly!

  Easy to work with!

  Windy City was recommended by my wedding planner and made my wedding day transportation very seamless. It is expensive, but it's worth it not to have to worry about how you and your guests are getting around town. Customer service was knowledgeable and responsive, and I was able to make most changes up until 5 days before. Drivers were great! On time and no issues.

  You're in Great Hands With Windy City!

  We booked two 54-person busses from Windy City Limousine for guest transportation at our 8/13/22 wedding in downtown Chicago, and everything went very smoothly! It was easy to communicate with them about timing and any adjustments that came up approaching the wedding day, and all of our guests made it to our ceremony and reception on time. Shuttles not showing up/being late was one of my biggest fears for the wedding day, but we were in great hands with Windy City!

  Great Vehicles, Poor Front Office

  We used Windy City Limo for our wedding transportation in June of 2022. We booked two 14 passenger vans for five hours. Both our drivers arrived early to the first destination and communicated with us and our wedding coordinator very well. The drivers were very nice and the vehicles were kept in great condition. One of the drivers helped our wedding party with unloading and moving around items which was much appreciated!

Windy City Limo does not provide contracts, so we were never sure if our services were confirmed and if the information was correct. The paperwork they provided in advance had incorrect information and we requested updates numerous times, but each “correction” was still wrong. Due to this, we were incorrectly billed fr the services. Additionally, we were charged the incorrect hourly minimum for services. Our representative did not tell us the hourly minimum had been updated since our initial negotiation. The billing department was quick to correct these issues, but we were frustrated with this error after several requests.
  
  In short, the drivers and vehicles were fantastic, but the front office service was less than ideal.

  Good Experience!

  We are happy choosing Windy City for our wedding day transportation! The party bus was a great choice for our party of 13 adults. We had plenty of space, the bus was clean & our driver was very nice/accommodating! Very happy with our experience!

  Terrible Experience - AVOID

  Whatever you do, do not book Windy City Limo. My wedding was on 8/6/2022, on one of the hottest days of the year in Chicago. My MIL had primarily worked with Linci to coordinate two buses - a 23 passenger bus for the wedding party and a 56 passenger bus for guests. Initially, communication was very good and our buses were on time. To summarize, we were promised the following by Linci:
  1. An air conditioned bus
  2. Water - we actually didn't ask for this, but it was offered to us
  3. Correct navigation based on the itinerary we discussed

  Whatever you do, do not book Windy City Limo. My wedding was on 8/6/2022, on one of the hottest days of the year in Chicago. My MIL had primarily worked with Linci to coordinate two buses - a 23 passenger bus for the wedding party and a 56 passenger bus for guests. Initially, communication was very good and our buses were on time. To summarize, we were promised the following by Linci:
  1. An air conditioned bus
  2. Water - we actually didn't ask for this, but it was offered to us
  3. Correct navigation based on the itinerary we discussed
  
  Unfortunately, as we embarked on our bus to take photos with the wedding party, the following occurred: 1. Our best man needed to sit in the front of the bus with the driver to "troubleshoot" the AC. At one point, it was 85+ degrees on the bus. The company is actively disputing that the AC didn't work despite photo proof that our best man had to sit in the front of the bus to "troubleshoot" the AC (see photo). This was super embarrassing for my wedding party and it meant our best man couldn't socialize with the rest of our group. 2. No water bottles. Because this was promised to us in our contract, I told the wedding party to not bring water with them. Why offer this to us if you had no intention of actually providing waters? The company is not taking any responsibility for this oversight. 3. The driver went to the incorrect location. I had to shout off directions as the bride to our driver, Julie, setting us about 10-15 minutes behind schedule.
  
  This situation was unsafe given the heat and this company was dishonest across all aspects of what we were promised. The thousands we spent on hair and makeup didn't matter because we sweated it all off on the bus. I actually cried before the ceremony because how much stress this put on me and the day. It pains me to read the positive reviews from other brides and groups. Because of Windy City Limo, one of my bridesmaids almost passed out, our hair was ruined in photos, and we ran behind behind schedule. To make matters worse, this company doesn't seem to care and are actually blaming us as the wedding party for taking photos outside and insinuating that if water was so important, we should have brought it ourselves. As the bride I haven't received any sort of apology or follow-up. Please stay away from this company - they won't take any accountability when things go wrong and will blame you for their mistakes.

  We originally were not planning on needing same-day wedding transport, so only reached out to various vendors for quotes about 60 days before the wedding. Our options were limited, but Windy City Limousine had the lowest quote for the size of bus that we needed. We were a little disappointed that they required a 6-hour minimum charge, since we only needed service for about 3.5 hours. But it was nice that it was all-inclusive, including tip, and it was still less than the quote for similar size buses for 4 hours, so it was good value.   Wonderful Transport!

  We have 0 complaints about our experience with WCL! Setting up the appointment was easy. We used the 23 passenger bus. It was spacious for our guests, in great condition, and very clean. The driver was very polite and even offered us the use of an umbrella as it was slightly rainy when we reached our first destination. We felt safe the entire drive - essential since we had children aboard. We were able to hook up our own music and we loved that they would make as many stops are you wanted for the time in which you rented the bus. The pricing was extremely reasonable. We would suggest them to anyone!

  Windy City made everything a breeze

  Thomas was our driver for our wedding day. He was on time and professional! He even accommodated a last minute drop off of our decor after the wedding, and got guests where they needed to be on time. Windy City was easy to deal with, and the shuttle was clean and modern. Thanks!

  Great experience with Windy City limo!

  Our driver was very prompt! The 14-passenger lux minibus we had was very nice and comfortable. Our driver did a great job shuttling us to our ceremony, driving us to our picture spot, and driving us to our reception. We are glad we booked Windy City for transporting the wedding party!

  Windy City Limo was the best for getting our wedding party all around Chicago for pictures! We needed to be picked up at the hotel, dropped off in two different locations, and then taken to the venue. We hired the 23 person party bus and the seats were spacious and comfortable. Our driver, Montia was AMAZING! She was on time, super friendly, a terrific driver, and was able to pick us up in really convenient locations without us having to walk all over to get to her. Getting the bus scheduled was also super easy and stress free! I worked with Bailey to get a quote and get all the details nailed down and she was prompt and very helpful. I would definitely recommend WCL for getting your wedding party to your photo locations!

  Maribel was awesome! I did extensive research before booking for our city photos and the factors that sold me were the working air conditioner and the company's performance on punctuality. You'd be amazed how many poor reviews are out there for other companies due to those types of situations. If you're looking for a company with credibility and to help make your busy day to run smoother, go with windy city :)

  Great driver

  Our driver was excellent and super helpful—he even gave us ideas for impromptu places to stop for more photos! The office team quickly handled any administrative issues that came up (there was a miscommunication about the timing and billing but it was easily patched up).

  When we were first looking for a transportation company to work with, it was hard to know where to start. I had spoken with a few other companies, but once I spoke with Windy City, I knew they were the best choice! Their booking process is so flexible and they answered all of our questions promptly. And on our wedding day, they were incredible! We used two large coach buses and a party bus for transportation to and from the hotels, to the ceremony venue and the reception venue; the drivers were on time for every pick up/drop off, and so kind. HIGHLY recommend!!

  Exactly What We Needed

  After my sister got married in June and used Windy City Limo my wife and I knew we had to use them for our wedding as well. I called and the process to book was exceptionally easy and the cost was great! We had Tony as our driver the day of and he was amazing. Helpful with loading stuff on and off the bus and was even willing to make some last minute additional runs to take some guests back to the hotel after the ceremony. He was super kind and was a great driver. We are very happy that we went with Windy City Limo. They put our minds at ease and made sure we had a great time.

  Dependable and affordable

  I used Windy City Limousine for both my bachelorette party and wedding in Chicago. Everything went smoothly for both - the company staff was really responsive to my questions leading up to the events. I changed the bus size numerous times as the group size changed and they would update the contract within a few minutes. The only downside was when I updated from a 12 person bus to a 21 person bus - they made me get a security guard, which cost an additional $200, so the cost went up a lot. I also tried to reserve the bus for an hour later at night to drive guests from the reception to the after party - but they... Read more

Overall, they made everything really simple and anxiety free - I definitely recommend.

  Windy City was a great vendor for my October 2019 wedding- we used a small bus for our wedding party and a few larger ones for the guests. They accommodated a few last minute requests and were always responsive!
