    Perfectly done

    Wixey bakery was fantastic from the start! FREE cake tasting! So many different samples of cake, frosting and/or fillings! And you can take it home! Their cakes are delicious! And beautifully made. Very easy staff to talk to and easy to call to add money to our account for the final due date. It was delivered to the venue on time, in perfect condition and set up just the way we wanted it. Wixey bakery is a great choice! And affordable! ♥️

    Wixey is a Toledo favorite!! I highly recommend Wixey for wedding cakes!! We had a red velvet naked cake with 3 different flavored cupcakes (amaretto, German chocolate, and carrot cake). Needless to say, the dessert was a hit! The planning meeting was quick and easy. We showed pictures that we liked of cakes and talked about what we could do day of, then they recommended quantities and we were all set. Wixey Bakery's professionalism, quality of dessert, and service really set them apart!

    oh em gee best cake in town. We had rave reviews and they created the most beautiful cake for my wedding. im so happy i went with wixeys. they never disappoint!!!! The cake was absolutely beautiful and even more delicious!!!!

    I grew up around the corner from Wixey's and always knew they would make my wedding cake. My wedding was in Toledo even though I now live on the East Coast, and Wixey's was very helpful in setting up tastings during my trips home. They also helped us put together a dessert table with cookies and macaroons in addition to the cake.

    Wixey's Bakery was wonderful to work with. Everyone there is professional and helpful. The cake tasted amazing and looked beautiful. We went with a very simple design, and it was very affordable. They offered different sizes and kitchen cakes as well, which made our cake much more affordable and we were able to have several different flavors. They have a wide variety of flavors and fillings which are all delicious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a wedding cake in the Toledo area!

    Very friendly and helpful.. I took a picture in of a wedding cake that I saw and liked, asked them to use different colors, and the cake turned out great!! Highly recommend.

    We picked three cakes for our wedding and they were all delicious. They were also very helpful during our tasting.

    Wixey's is the best! The hardest part of working with Wixey's was choosing the cake flavors! I highly suggest the champagne cake--it went so fast that we actually double checked to see if it was included in my cake. I personally think their white cake is the best in the city. The decoration was perfect--very impressive to me because I only showed them one picture of what I liked. My cake was exactly what I wanted and I'm so glad I went with Wixey's.

    The cake was beautiful. We did something different by putting tea lights under martini glasses that held up the cake, they made it work and it really looked spectacular!

    We ordered both a small cutting cake and a large number of doughnuts for our reception and we could not have been happier with them! The doughnuts were a huge hit with our guests and we cannot wait to buy Wixey cakes on our anniversaries!

    Wixey's is one of Toledo's oldest and finest bakeries. They did both the Groom's cake and the Wedding Cake for my daughter and son-in-law. Both were delicious and we received wonderful comments on the delicious cakes.

    We did a cupcake wedding cake and I was very impressed by the way it looked. We picked out several different flavors of cupcakes and they were all mixed throughout. Wixey is the best bakery by far and I wouldn't have had anyone else make my wedding cake =)

    My wedding cake was absolutely stunning! It looked amazing and tasted even better! I went in to Wixey's with 2 designs and asked if they could intertwine them. i worked with Michael- one of the owners. He was fantastic! He was honest and explained why he didn't like my designs intertwined- said the cake would look unfinished etc etc. He suggested a few ideas incorporating most of what I initially wanted and I let him run with it. He is the expert on cakes, not me. When I walked in to my reception and saw the cake for the first time I was in awe! It was perfect! We had left over cake and it sat around for 1 week and still tasted just as good a week later! I would definitely recommend a relaxed bride to Wixeys- trust them- they know what they are doing! I would use them again in a heart beat!!

    Denise at Wixey Bakery, 419-382-6684, was extremely knowledgeable and accomodating to design a cake for our daughter's wedding. We had only 3 weeks to plan and she came through beautifully. She even delivered personally, the cake, along with a very special cake stand that I had requested. Wixey Bakery was highly recommended and has a great reputation in the Toledo and surrounding areas. I give them a BIG 5 STAR rating.

    Delicious, beautiful cake. They gave us exactly what we wanted--we had so many compliments on how good the cake was. I wouldn't go anywhere else. And the tasting samples were plentiful and free!

    Wixey's Bakery has, without a doubt, the best cake in the Toledo area. Upon entering this small local shop, I didn't know if they would be able to create the cake of my dreams for 300+ guests. However, I quickly discovered that not only are they able to recreate nearly any cake a bride can imagine, they do it with a smile. Each time I went into the bakery I was greeted by a friendly staff member willing to listen to my needs. They also made me calm in a time of chaos as they did not ask for finalized details until the month before the wedding. At our final meeting, they looked at my pictures, assured me I would get what I wanted and made me feel so relaxed. Upon walking into the ballroom and seeing my cake in the middle of the dance floor, it was more beautiful than I could have imagined! Not only did Wixey's follow my pictures, they made the intricate detailing of the icing so gorgeous, our guests couldn't stop complimenting how it looked. The guests were even more amazed when they tasted the cake, saying it was the best they had eaten at a wedding!

    Wixey Bakery was awesome to work with from start to finish. We got lots of samples to try the first time we walked in and all were amazing. We had a reception with 400 people that was also located an hour away from the bakery, they worked with us to make sure the whole order would fit in the van and be able to travel that far without being damaged and they did a great job! We would highly recommend Wixey Bakery.

    We tasted many flavors and they were even more delicious in our cake. Guests couldn't stop saying how yummy the cake was. The icing was a beautiful design. We weren't sure what we wanted when we ordered, but the staff helped us look at designs and choose a style we liked. Beautiful and delicious wedding cake delivered on time and as promised.

    We’re able to do a cake almost last minute

    We were going to have a family friend make our cake but something happened where she was unable to. Wixey was more than willing to make us a cake 3 weeks before the wedding date. We sat down and designed it that day. The next week they gave us a huge selection of cake to taste and fillings for us to choose from. We gave them our cake choices and some ribbon and that was it! Cake looked, and tasted, as we hoped with the exception of I asked for there to be some frosting flowers on the cake and there wasn’t. Not a huge set back and cake still looked good. Price was a little higher than what I would have hoped but very pleased with there ability to accommodate me last minute. I would recommend them!

    The cake was incredible. There was not a single person that didn't tell us it was one of the best wedding cakes they had ever had. The decorations were great as well. We showed them some pictures that we liked and they really made a beautiful cake for us. They also coordinated everything with the reception hall and the florist for final decorating and set up. They don't really do e-mail and you have to talk to one of the bakers to get the most accurate information. But the product was delicious at a great value.
