For a smaller (under 60) guest count, this venue is perfect! It has all the historic, vintage charm you could want.

This venue is AMAZING. So unique and charming. It was absolutely perfect for our wedding of 150. Because there is an upstairs balcony level and a main floor it made our large wedding feel small and intimate. We had our ceremony in Centennial Park and stayed at the Higgin's House B&B both one block away. After our wedding a bunch of people walked to the bars on 1st Street and kept the party going. It was perfect and we could walk everywhere. They don't do a lot of weddings so they are really flexible and cheap!!! With that said I don't think this is the ideal place for everyone. It definitely takes a bit of elbow grease to get the place looking dazzling but the potential is unreal! The building is older but I love that. I wanted to do everything myself and was able to reserve the building the entire day before extremely affordably. This place was perfect for what I wanted to do but again not for everyone.

The venue it's self is split-level and intimate. We had approximately 115 guests, plus servers. It never really felt squished, but td isn't leave too much space for dancing. It did make for a beautiful reception hall once decorated. However, there are lots of hidden fees and they look for every way to keep your cleaning deposit. We were told to leave the tables out, we left the tables out, they charged us. We were told to leave the linens on the floor, we left the linens in the floor, they charged us.
If you're ok with unfairly losing your cleaning deposit ($200), then this is the place for you. If you're counting on getting that back, you might want to look elsewhere.

The venue was a good price for my last minute wedding. I just wish the place was a little more updated and well kept. The door leading to the women changing/restroom area had to be literally pushed in by more than one person, which made it was difficult for the bridal party to be entering and existing. A few light bulbs were out. The restroom sinks were coming off the wall and had rust. The ladies at the office were extremely friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to pick up the keys the night before so I could set up early in the morning.
