The staff is outstanding catering to our every need. We had our wedding outside at the gazeboo with all the trees lit up - it is a beautiful setting.The staff is outstanding catering to our every need. We had a wonderful time. No one in my family complained about anything. The cost was great for our budget. I told any and everybody that would listen, to have their next event at the country club. Our wedding was June 30, 2018, everything was setup nicely, but the AC was not working properly. I sweated my makeup off, my guest were hot, me & my husband burned up.. We left earlier than we were scheduled to leave. If it wasnt for the AC, we would of had a great night there.. It was ok... I would like to thank Cathy for everything, she did. Our coordinator had a personal emergency/family emergency back to back the month before our wedding. We were provided another coordinator who was great but didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Our biggest disappointment was when we found out that only half of our cake was actually served while the staff ate the other half in the back. One guest asked if they could have a cupcake that was being transported to the kitchen off a big tray and Was told that this tray was for the back of house, but they would bring them a slice of cake later, and were never brought that slice. Several guests sent me pictures of how much cake was served because they knew that we had provided much more. I called the venue to ask for reimbursement for this and was completely ignored (I had to leave a message and no one called back to even apologize). Several of our guests could not make it the day of, and when one guest asked for an extra plate of food, they were refused. They asked why they couldn’t have one of the plates we paid for already that was supposed to go to one of the several people that didn’t show up, and they were told because it is only one plate per person. We were also told that the chef would provide chicken in a port wine sauce, but were given a cream sauce instead even when we asked for a different one at the tasting. We were told we could have another tasting on a Saturday which was cancelled and we were not told until we got there. Drinks were constantly being taken away long before they were finished so that guests would have to get more from the bar. The AC wasn’t working either and everyone was sweating profusely. Horrible Venue with a Con Artist Owner
DO NOT BOOK HERE! The owner has had several turnovers of coordinators and chefs. We were waiting to book and he tried to keep our money when we NEVER got a contract. He recently had a great coordinator who we could tell knew her job and she quit as well. We spoke with a previous coordinator who also quit prior to the last one and she told us about all the stuff Louis tries to pull. Spoke with someone else that had the same food and he tried to charge us more for the exact same meal. Very dishonest and only want to make money off people. Also heard through an employee of mines who stated that he is selling this place and trying to get as much money out of people as possible. They have no chef as they have all quit as well due to how horrible the kitchen is. I wouldn't have a FREE event here. Mildew up over where the chandelier is and when we toured downstairs it was very hot as they have no air. His wife Sue also lies as well as she told us something different and then tried to say she didn't. Don't do it and if I could post anywhere else, I will.DO NOT BOOK HERE!
