User1414745 Sent on 10/31/2013My wife and I had our wedding aboard Destiny @ World Yacht on 8/18/13. Deciding on a venue for our wedding was an extremely difficult choice. That was, of course, until we got to World Yacht. We absolutely fell in love with the Princess yacht, but knew we wouldn't have enough guests. But Destiny was our second choice, which we loved as well. Every venue we toured afterwards was just not good enough, and no one impressed us like Fiona. So, Destiny it was, and we're both so happy that we chose it. Our wedding day was perfect! We had our ceremony on the opened top deck, cocktail hour in the lounge area on the bottom deck and reception in the middle deck. We're especially grateful for Fiona, she's such a sweetheart! She literally babied us from beginning to end answering all of our questions and addressing each concern. She even helped me with breathing exercises right before walking down the aisle to say "I do"! The staff was also very courteous and our guests had an excellent time. The food was also very delicious (Actually, I'm still getting texts about how good the salmon was). Another huge highlight was at how supportive and respectful everyone was with us as a LGBT couple. Everyone was great! We're already planning towards our 10 year anniversary :D! -
User1404523 Sent on 10/27/2013We had our wedding on board The Princess at World Yacht, and it could not have been a more perfect wedding! We never doubted this for a second after our first meeting with Fiona from World Yacht. Fiona made her desire to make our wedding a reality from the very beginning. Every other yacht company only cared about showing off their boats and the ideas that past couples had implemented. However, Fiona took the time to get to know us on a personal and professional level and collaborated with us to figure out what we wanted and how to add our own personal touch to World Yacht’s gorgeous boats. The breath and depth of Fiona’s knowledge of wedding planning is beyond comparison. Fiona asked so many questions about details that we had not even considered, although essential to planning a wedding. During our early meetings, we just starred at each other so many times, feeling dumbfounded that we did not think about the level of detail that Fiona was willing to personalize for our day. Yet, in all our communication with her, she made us feel at ease and comfortable and helped us flesh out the details of each part of the wedding to make it exactly what we wanted. Every step of the way, Fiona was always there to lend a helping hand in a very noninvasive way. She recommended an amazing florist and gave us many other recommendations for vendors as well. Throughout the planning process, we kept in constant communications with Fiona, and she always replied promptly and managed to make everything work and run smoothly despite our demanding work schedules. Fiona understands how delicate and important this day is and was not afraid to ask clarifying questions to guarantee that everything goes smoothly and in the manner we planned. Our wedding day was magical. Everything went according to plan. Fiona’s dedication and commitment to her clients is just one of a kind. Our wedding was not special simply because we were married but because Fiona Yan made our dreams come true.

Kelly Sent on 09/21/2011We had our reception on the Cornucopia Destiny and it was amazing. The food was delicious, we received many compliments. The views were also breathtaking. Most importantly, the service was great too which truly made the party. Our wedding planner Steve Tanzman was the absolute best, he made our party. You can't beat the Statue of Liberty & Brookly Bridge for photo ops. This venue beats a wedding hall hands down. Plus having a cocktail hour outdoors was something special. People RAVED about our wedding. Prices were good too, we did better than a wedding hall, which was a bonus.
