User1812563 Sent on 09/15/2014My husband did not understand why I wanted to spend money on a videographer for our wedding but when we saw our video highlight clip (within a few days after our wedding) he then knew. Look him up on Facebook/Yelp and you will find samples of he's work. Family/friends raved how it looked like a movie trailer, (I posted it on my FB timeline), very professional, and not cheesy at all. I was skeptical at first too at all the raved reviews but I am a happy customer and let me save you time and money ladies, Xerxes is the one! I like how creative and passionate he is on what he does. He worked really well with my photographer, people thought they were one company. He made sure he wasn't in the photographers shot, flexible in working with our itinerary, willing to travel as well. -
User1774132 Sent on 08/20/2014In all honesty, my fiance (now husband) and I weren't sure as to what we were looking for in a wedding videographer. Instead we relied on our friend's experiences with their wedding videographers. Amongst the selection we were given and after we perused through reviews of each videographer and intently watched past videos, we decided to give Xerxes at Xposure-Films.com a call. Aside from having the most awesome name ever, Xerxes is a consummate professional. He made us feel extraordinarily comfortable in front of the camera (despite us being camera-phobes). In fact, he made the day so seamless, we didn't even notice that him and his crew were filming. Xerxes was also very accommodating to our needs, willing to take suggestions, and was flexible with last minute changes. During the entire process, he always made himself available to us.
Yesterday we received a link to our wedding video (an astounding turn around time, Xerxes must have been up all night). Xerxes was able to encapsulate all of the emotion of the day into the 4.5 minute video which will allow us to relive those memories year after year. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We are so excited to get the full length DVDs. -
User2584777 Sent on 04/22/2016I liked Xerex! I loved his work so much, I started introducing his work to my bridesmaid who eventually hired him for her wedding later this year. But since then, he has been a huge disappointment to say the least.
Let me clarify. We didn't just send inquires or interview him. We were at the stage where we already sent him our contract with our names on it. I didn't think it was a huge problem and was expecting him to answer some questions but this guy stopped responding all together. It's highly likely that Xerxes was just too busy or overbooked. But it only takes 1 minute to tell us that! Planning a wedding is not easy, and as a business owner, its highly unprofessional to just "disappear" on your clients during such stressful time. We called, left messages, wrote emails and was still expecting him to film our wedding. Out of respect, the least you can do is to say something. A couple of months before our wedding, we finally gave up and decided to look for another company to help us.
When god closes a door, he opens a window. In this case, we found a better and more reliable vendor!! We are so happy that Xerxes' unprofessionalism led us to April Story Film. These guys' work ethic is unbeatable and I can say they are one of the few vendors value customer satisfaction over money! April Story Film found a way to outperform our expectation! The lighting, transition, and overall story-telling are top notch. We feel truly blessed in a way that Xerxes's bad work ethics led us to someone better.
(note: my photographer was supposed to work with Xerxes on another wedding, and I was told that Xerxes also disappeared...)
