I am so glad that that we hired Yellow Hook to document our wedding day! Andrea and Doug were phenomenal to work with throughout our planning process and on our wedding day. They are friendly, easy-going, and down to earth. They were incredibly responsive to all of our questions and connected with us several times before the wedding to review details. On the wedding day itself, Andrea and Doug were incredibly unobtrusive and I barely saw either of them. Most of our guests remarked that they didn't even remember us having videographers - and yet somehow they still managed to capture our entire day so accurately and include all of the most important moments. It was truly amazing.

Somehow they managed to go through 9 hours of footage and pull together a highlights edit that so perfectly and so accurately represents us and our wedding day. We just received our highlights video and we are blown away by how beautiful it is, how natural it looks, and how perfectly they captured the emotion of the whole day. Everyone who we've shown it to has felt the same way, and being able to show the video to relatives who were not able to attend our wedding is incredible. We could not recommend Yellow Hook Productions more highly!

My husband and I and our entire family are absolutely thrilled (to tears) with our wedding highlight and cinematic edit videos. Andrea and Doug are true artists and captured the tenderness and fun of the day perfectly. The videos are unique in that they are of extremely high quality without looking like a cheesy production. Our videos are the most precious treasures from our wedding day in that they help us remember all the little moments and big events of the day. We are so grateful for Andrea and Doug. They are true professionals and we cannot recommend their work highly enough, but we don't have to, it speaks for itself.

We almost didn't get a videographer for our wedding, but ended up so happy that we did! Andrea and Doug were not only a pleasure to coordinate with leading up to the day, but my husband and I are convinced they are video ninja's! They were everywhere, capturing each moment, and yet never in anyone's way. We were beyond thrilled with the end result - a beautiful highlights and main events video that captured the day perfectly. We could not be happier that we found Yellow Hook Productions and have relived that amazing day repeatedly through our video. All our friends agreed that it's one of the best highlights videos they've seen!

Andrea and Doug are amazing!

They were incredible with their prep leading up to our big event --- they were super organized and full of great ideas and suggestions. We had Andrea and Doug film each of us individually the morning of our wedding and continue through our ceremony, party and speeches! They blended in extremely well during the event --- we don't even really remember seeing them at the event!

That being said --- the video we received is unbelievable! The speeches sound great, the shots are well composed, and the editing is extremely thoughtful. These guys have great talent! They did an incredible job capturing the mood of our big day! We highly recommend Yellow Hook Productions!

Yellow Hook did an amazing job filming our wedding. We had a very quick elopement ceremony in NYC. Since it was a small event, we focused most of our budget on ensuring we had an incredible keepsake to remember our special day. Yellow Hook did not disappoint. They worked with us from the beginning to end to ensure we selected the appropriate time to film, kept the costs within our budget, and even helped us snap some pictures after our ceremony because we did not hire a photographer. We communicated via email, phone, and FaceTime before the ceremony, and they were always very helpful in answering our questions. They always responded timely to any email or phone call, and arrived exactly when we needed them during the ceremony day. The quality of the video was incredible, and they even had our video ready within two months to show at a small reception we had when we returned home. Definitely select Yellow Hook for your ceremony, other competitors video quality (when we looked at their posted videos on their websites) were no where near as good as Yellow Hook's. They were also grossly overpriced when we compared videographers and photographers. A small elopement package at some photographers run you about $1500 for our 20 minutes ceremony, that was ridiculous. People have mistaken screenshots from our wedding video for professional wedding photos. And we were so thankful that they took extra time after the ceremony to help us snap some photos with our camera. We have our entire wedding on film to watch for the rest of our lives, and they were so great to us throughout the day. Ensuring they captured each of our reactions during the first look, vow exchange, and candid moments before and after the ceremony.

To be quite honest, we had no intention of hiring a videographer. I thought it was an extravagance we could live without and my husband thought they’d just get in the way and be a distraction. But my mom insisted…

In hindsight, hiring Andrea and Doug was one of, if not the most, important decision we made while planning our wedding. They were easily the best vendor to work with – very quick to respond both before and after the wedding, very attentive to your needs/ desires, worked seamlessly with the other vendors, and were VERY discrete on our wedding day. They are also incredibly talented. Both the Highlights video and Cinematic edits brought tears to my eyes instantly. It was likely reliving the best day of your life all over again. PLUS you get to see many moments that you missed along the way. Moreover, you will be able to share your day with family and friends that were unable to make it on your special day.

I assure you that you will be thrilled you decided to hire Yellow Hook Productions and will truly cherish their videos.

We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding videos - both the full length and the highlights reel. The footage is incredible, the editing is amazing, and most importantly they capture and convey the tone and emotions of the day. We feel that Andrea and Doug really "got us" and what we were going for. We received an overwhelming number of compliments on our videos. Most people who saw them said they were the best wedding videos they ever saw. Everyone, including us, was VERY impressed. We are so happy we have such beautiful documentation of the day. The videos well exceeded our expectations.

We had full confidence in Andrea and Doug from the very beginning and they were fabulous to work with (throughout the day and leading up to the event). Throughout the wedding day, they were such a pleasure to have around and not at all intrusive. They captured the most beautiful moments without anyone even noticing they were around. After the wedding, many people told us that they didn't even know we had videographers. They blended in with the crowd so well.

Andrea and Doug were lovely to work with, are true professionals, and are incredibly talented. We cannot recommend Yellow Hook Productions more highly.

Andrea and Doug were great. Our wedding was in late May at a venue in Hingham, Ma. We had not met Doug until the actual wedding day, and it was not an issue as he was warm and inviting. Prior to that we had been in touch with Andrea who was quick in responses and very willing to jump on a call to discuss any questions. My wife and I opted for just one of the basic packages and as the date got closer decided to add more options. Yellow Hook was very accommodating and willing to work with us without any issues. In addition they were able to speak directly with our DJ to work out microphone and sound questions, which helped as that was one more item I did not have to worry about. We were both very happy with the end result, and would definitely recommend Yellow Hook to anyone looking for good value, good product and professionalism on site. Couldnt be more thrilled!

My husband and I eloped last year in NYC and having someone there to capture our day was very important to us. Doug and Andrea were great to work with, we organized our wedding from the other side of the world and they made this process much easier. On the day Doug and Andrea were highly professional and clearly had a lot of experience in what they were doing which for a bride was very comforting! The end product is absolutely beautiful and it always brings a smile to my face when I watch it. The files were processed in a timely manner and receiving the files was also an easy process which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Yellow Hook Productions, they did a fantastic job and I can't thank them enough for capturing our day!

Andrea and Doug are amazing! We planned our ceremony long distance from Memphis, and the communication beforehand was excellent, and everything went like clockwork the day of the wedding. Besides a truly amazing edit of the ceremony with perfect sound (even on a windy day in Central Park!), Yellow Hook accompanied us around the park for a good while after the ceremony and provided us with excellent raw footage of our special day. Rodney and I can't recommend this team highly enough -- we might get married again just so we can use them!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding—and there were SO MANY DECISIONS—was to hire Yellow Hook to do the video. We spent weeks reviewing the online portfolios of zillions of videographers, but we were turned off by two things in most other companies’ approach: the price and the cheesiness. Yellow Hook was the only company whose online samples felt exactly right for us: they were totally artistic and polished, but not in a fake, “my wedding is a fantasy story” sort of way. More in an earthy, gutsy way that captured real interactions between the couple and family and guests. Personally I had zero interest in spending thousands of dollars to have somebody videotape my shoes. We wanted a document of this incredible celebration of a huge transition in our lives, and that’s exactly what we got from Yellow Hook. Equally important as the finished product was the fact that Doug and Andrea were, without exception, a pleasure to work with every step of the way: responsive, good-natured, committed, and reasonable.

I considered not hiring a videographer because it was something I 'wanted'...it wasn't a 'need to have', but I stumbled on them one day and was so happy I did. They were by far our favorite vendor. So easy to work with. So caring. So friendly. So unobtrusive. We only got to meet them in person the day before the wedding (because of schedule conflicts) but they are both so friendly and easy going that we felt so comfortable from the moment we met them. They stayed out of the way but somehow didn't miss a single moment. The turned the video around to us edited so quick and we loved it. We got to see all the smiles we missed and the laughs we didn't get to see. For anyone considering NOT getting a videographer, change your mind. It's so worth it! Every time we watch our video its like going back to that day. Best investment!
I'm a professional videographer so I know what I'm talking about here. Every video I've seen them do has been amazing. These 2 know their stuff.

Yellow Hook Productions was recommended to me by my amazing wedding planner. He had an A list of vendors that he used frequently and Yellow Hook Productions was one of them. Andrea and her fiancé Doug were an AMAZING duo--professional, friendly, and responsive to all of our emails and concerns. I had a destination wedding in NY while living in CA so communication was very important to me. Andrea was so great with communicating with us in such a timely manner and was able to address all of our questions. We received our wedding video within 2 months of our wedding. Andrea and Doug's work was amazing! My family and I were in tears reliving my wedding day through the heartfelt video. They were able to capture all the intimate moments in such a natural, beautiful way. I would HIGHLY recommend Yellow Hook Productions for any bride to be looking for a professional videographer that is affordable and to say the least--AMAZING in every aspect!

Yellowhook Productions is not new to the scene and it shows in their work and process. I couldn't imagine looking back at wedding photographs and not being able to see my family and friends dancing and partying. But what Andrea and Doug captured was far more than just a party.

What sets Yellowhook Productions apart from other videographers is that they're true storytellers - just look at their work! They capture the mood and atmosphere of an event as well as the party itself; details that would otherwise go forgotten.

They use top-of-the-line equipment and it shows. Aside from higher quality footage, there won't be huge clunky blinding video cameras floating around at your event.

They were unobtrusive and incognito! They really are there to film your event as it develops and never barked a word or command. My guests loved them and felt natural and at ease with them. I felt so comfortable with them that I forgot they were there (Hopefully they keep footage of my meltdowns in a secret vault.)

Doug and Andrea are so confident in the process and took it all into their own hands. They surveyed the venue space, assisted in scheduling and created a timeline for the day that complemented the ceremony and reception. Also, they respectfully shared the space with our photographer and worked so well together at capturing the best moments. As a bride, I didn't need to coordinate anything.

And last but definitely not least: They are so incredibly friendly and kind. It was amazing having Doug and Andrea on our team. I feel like they're now also our friends. They captured something no other vendor could and we'll be able to look back at the footage forever.

I can't say enough about Andrea and Doug, the owners of Yellow Hook Productions. They were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish, and they are consummate professionals and artists in every sense of the word. We barely noticed their cameras at the wedding - very different from some weddings I've been to where the videographers were highly invasive. Their work is AMAZING and our wedding video is now my most prized possession – I can’t stop watching it. They captured so much emotion and all the best moments of the day, so we were able to see so many things that we would have otherwise missed! They captured beautiful moments that just can't be caught on still film - like my husband’s nervous exhale as I was about to come down the aisle, and some bridesmaid/groomsmen flirtation at the bar! At first, I wasn’t sure if I should have a videographer since we kept ourselves to such a strict budget – but it was by far the best decision that I made while planning the wedding. And Yellow Hook Productions was hands down the best vendor of the day. Whatever you have to do to make it fit into your budget, do it. And don’t hire anyone other than Yellow Hook Productions, they are the BEST!

Andrea and Doug of Yellow Hook Productions were phenomenal. They were simply amazing. The time and care they took to find out what we really wanted meant alot to us. The just didn't go off on and do there own thing. They kept us in the loop every step of the way. It was such a joy to have them at our wedding. Their professionalism was superb. Not once did they ever get in the way. I forgot they were even there filming. The video is so awesome. We can't stop looking at it. We are recommending Yellow Hook Productions to everyone we know. My husbands co-worker, who just so happened to be in the video was so impressed by the way the video came out; so professionally done. Every one of our family and friends love it. Andrea and Doug at Yellow Hook Productions are simply the best! Every aspect of working with them was smooth, simple and easy. From little things--like responding quickly to my emails and taking the time to get to know me and my fiance before the wedding, to the major things--like the absolutely gorgeous highlight reel that we watch over and over, they were just the perfect videographers for our wedding. At the wedding, Andrea and Doug seemed to be everywhere at the same time, without ever getting in our way. And you can see that in the video--every important moment and unmissable facial expression, hug, and adorable dance move was captured, sometimes from more than one angle! Our video is better than I could have imagined..and I'm not just saying that because my husband and I are the stars. Thanks, Andrea and Doug!!
