  2020 wedding

  Yessie is amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable. I first went to Yessie for my engagement photos and loved my hair and makeup! Both my hair and makeup photographed so perfectly. I hired her for my wedding in July of 2020, however we had to move our date due to covid. We had to move it twice and she was so flexible and willing to roll with the changes. During my makeup trial before the wedding she helped me put my final look together which was a dream. She made me so comfortable considering I was not able to bring anyone to my trial due to covid regulations. The day of the wedding she was so thoughtful, she not only my makeup artist but I felt as though she was a friend helping with all of the final touches to even helping buttoning my dress up! She made my mom and bridesmaid feel so comfortable and beautiful. My mom was a little worried about getting her makeup done, and now she can’t wait till covid is over in hopes of going back to Yessie for makeup lessons, as do I!! Yessie made my look complete and made me feel so beautiful. I could not recommend her enough, I am so thankful for her!

  Wedding party hair and makeup

  I can not recommend Yessie Libby highly enough to any bride. She is perfection. She and her team are professional, organized, punctual, highly skilled and have a current and beautiful aesthetic, while also being warm, caring, and fun human beings. She gave every member of our very large wedding party the most gorgeous glowing look. They were flawless in person as well as photographing beautifully. Hair was perfectly styled to each member of the bridal party’s personal request, and still looked incredible by the end of the night. On top of everything, Yessie stepped in to solve a huge wardrobe emergency that had nothing to do with hair or makeup! She is the kind of person who is there for you in every way, to make your entire day wonderful. I hope to work with her again in the future!!

  Beautiful bridesmaid

  Yessie did my hair and makeup for a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in. I have never felt as beautiful then with Yessie’s expert skills. I don’t wear make up but what Yessie did made me still feel natural! Can I have her all the time !!

  Yessie did an amazing job with my mother-of-the bride makeup! It looked natural, it felt light and 11h later still looked great. The bride's make up and hair looked amazing too, but I'll let her speak for herself :-).

  Yessie is hands down amazing at what she does! She has a great reputation in the area and I knew she had to be my makeup and hair artist for my fall elopement.   Yessie is amazing! I couldn't have picked a more perfect person to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She is incredibly talented, easygoing, friendly, and professional. I had the misfortune of getting a very bad tan line a few days before my wedding and she was able to fix it (and save me from a lot of stress!) I cannot recommend her enough to other brides!

  Yessie is a magician! I loved loved loved my wedding day hair and could not have been happier. Originally, during the trial, I had wanted and updo because I was afraid that the weather was going to be super hot... but then once I got my dress after the final fitting and the weather was cooling off for the week, I really wanted my hair half up and half down with my dress and asked if it was possible to change it and she was all for it!   There are not enough kind words in the dictionary to describe Yessie. She was so detail oriented and went out of her way to make sure that everybody was satisfied. She even provided airbrush foundation for the groom, and helped my grandma do her hair when she was freaking out over it. She did a marvelous job covering up little eczema that I had from stress (I had wedding planning, finals week, and a full-time job! Ah!) She drove all the way down from Mukilteo to Tacoma where my hotel was, lugging all of her equipment and the travel fee was super reasonable. She was wonderful, I was so incredibly happy with her work! It lasted all day long too!

  I consider myself someone know knows a lot about makeup. It's always been a hobby and a passion of mine, so when it came time to select a makeup artist for my wedding, I was extremely picky. I researched several makeup artists, poured over reviews and wedding photos and decided I would give Yessie a try. When I first met Yessie for our trial, she immediately put me at ease. She told me that she wanted me to feel comfortable with what she was doing and that we can fix or add anything as we go- very flexible and easy to work with... My skin is sensitive and very oily and I was concerned that my makeup would not hold up all day during my wedding. Yessie went out of her way to find me a special primer to help combat the oiliness & it worked like a charm! I even went out and bought one for myself! My skin looked flawless and stayed perfect the entire day/night. She is seriously so talented and highly skilled- her photos speak for themselves...She is a true artist & a real sweetheart. :) Thank you, Yessie!

The day of my wedding she took great care of me and did my hair exactly how I wanted it. It was so perfect, and I am super picky when it comes to my hair ! She listens so well and is a pro. She also has a great attitude and is fun to hang with so you wont feel awkward on your big day :) I felt beautiful and exactly how I envisioned myself looking on my wedding day.   Yessie is a makeup and hair goddess! I hired her for my wedding day and went for the full on “glamorous” package. Best decision ever! This is the one day that I want to look perfect – I want my makeup to last, my hair to stay curled, and I don’t want to stress about whether it will go well or not.

  When it comes to my hair I know it't not easy to work with…During my wedding hair trial Yessie listened carefully to exactly what I wanted and on the day of my wedding she delivered exactly just that! Oh btw my wedding coordinator recommended Yessie and boy I'm so glad she did because Yessie made my hair look fantastic!

  What a gift Yessie was to my wedding. Not only is she an incredible talent, truly caring about your important day, but she is a joy to be around. Her professionalism is astounding - I was able to meet with her months before I actually paid for her services, where she gathered information on my likes, dislikes, wedding as a whole, and even my bridesmaids. I even left that meeting with a few tips and tricks to use in my daily life.
  Yessie also made a point to book a trial run with me on the day of my shower. She came to my home to help me get ready, arriving early and setting up neatly and concisely. I ended up having my bachelorette party that evening as well, and her makeup stood the test of time: Not even a blotting paper was used from when she put it on me at 10a.m. until I took it off at 2:30 the next morning. Amazing! I ended up booking her skills as a wedding day gift for my 4 bridesmaids, and they were absolutely thrilled. She even gave me a discount for booking so many faces. Airbrush, lashes, the whole nine yards, and my wedding pictures couldn't look better. She fit right in in our dressing room, making everyone comfortable and beautiful.

  Yessie did the most amazing job on my hair and makeup for both my wedding and engagement shoot! I wanted completely different looks for both the engagement shoot and wedding, and Yessie nailed both of them. She's not only the sweetest thing on the planet, but she really listens to what you want, and uses her expertise to make that look work for you. My makeup stayed put on both days, through extreme heat and wind (and tears from bright sun!) in the desert at my engagement shoot, to 12 hours of hugs, food, happy tears and dancing the night away at my wedding. I can't recommend Yessie enough, she will make you look and FEEL amazing for whatever event you book her for!!

I got the package which included lashes, airbrush makeup and a trial, which was a great value at $270, especially considering that she came to do the makeup and hair at locations of my choosing for both the trial and wedding day. At the trial, Yessie went over my Pinterest boards with me to decide on exactly what I wanted. This made the day of go very smoothly. Yessie was also very flexible, making changes to my hair and makeup when I wasn't 100% that it was what I wanted. Also, my hair and makeup lasted through the entire crazy dance party! I would definitely recommend Yessie!

Yessie brought in a friend to help do make up & the both of them were the PERFECT combo for my morning - catered to my chill happy vibes, got along with my bridal party and really made the experience feel real, authentic & exciting. My bridal party and myself expressed our vision for hair and make up and they both really took it to heart and followed directions while helping bring it to life in a better way than we imagined. They accentuated our natural beauty and made us all look and feel like queens! Yessie was on time to take care of myself, 4 bridesmaids, 2 flowers girls, 2 moms and my grandma - leaving enough time for us to have some champagne before getting the day started. Highly recommend Yessie!
