  Where do I begin?? Ryan is AMAZING! We used him last year (2015) for our Engagement photos and our Wedding photos. He listened to what we really wanted and helped us come up with ideas on where and how to shoot the photos. He is a friendly, funny guy that is easy to talk to - we got comfortable in front of the camera with him right away. The way Ryan uses natural light in his pictures is beautiful. A year later we are still in LOVE with all of our photos. We chose the wedding package that includes the 4 wood panels, which I highly recommend! We kept 2 for ourselves and gave one to each of our parent's for Christmas. The quality of his photos and prints is ridiculous. We plan to use him for newborn and family photos next!!   We can’t begin to say enough about You Look Nice Today Photography and its owner, photographer Ryan Wilcox. From our initial meeting he was the only photographer we met with that really wanted to get to know us, our style and our vision for our wedding before he would talk about pricing and his style. We felt immediately comfortable with him and knew he was our guy. When we shot engagement pictures it just got better. Not only is he extremely personable, but so professional and knows exactly how to get some amazing shots. The shots aren’t controlled and he’s not one of those photographers that tells you to tilt your head a hundred times because they only know one way of getting an amazing picture. At first I thought that maybe we looked so bad he couldn’t possibly begin to tell us what to do to make it look better, but he has such a natural style and ability to capture a moment that every single one of our pictures turned out amazing. At our wedding he and his assistant wowed us again along with all of our friends and family. My bridesmaids raved that from other weddings they had been in, that Ryan had been the easiest photographer they had ever worked with. And even if being such a nice guy wasn’t enough, he takes some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen. He shoots in all film, which made us nervous at first, but I can’t say enough about how more beautiful it makes his shots. Without a doubt the best investment we made for our wedding. If you want to have beautiful pictures for the rest of your lives, and work with someone that makes the whole day effortless, then Ryan is easily your guy.

  OK if you're still unsure for some reason, just know that Ryan maintains a high-level of professionalism, while still keeping a relaxed enough vibe to help your wedding be stress-free.
  For example, my wife and I were married outdoors on the Oregon coast in August. The forecast was iffy, and throughout the day it's raining a decent amount. Ryan and his wife are using equipment worth as much as my car, and they showed no hesitation or stress, they just kept a smile and worked to get the right shots.
  
  Again, just look at the quality of work. There is something special about film (they do digital too if that's your thing). We're glad we went with them.

  After seeing Ryan's photography in a Wedding Blog, I was hooked and keeping my fingers crossed that he'd be available to photograph my wedding. I love his artistic eye and photo-journalist style. He was available, quick to respond and super nice! The wedding photos turned out great, we get amazing feedback on them all the time! I highly recommend him - make sure to book early.

  Ryan and Amy of You Look Nice Today Photography did an absolutely fantastic job of shooting our wedding. Their photos of everything from the prep to the ceremony to the reception turned out beautiful - a nice mix of traditional staged photos and in-the-moment shots. Ryan shoots primarily in film with some digital, and it is a testament to his skill that we had as many beautiful photos as we did without taking a million shots! They were both professional and very nice people on top of that. I cannot recommend You Look Nice Today Photography highly enough... :)

  Ryan and Amy of You Look Nice Today Photography did an absolutely fantastic job of shooting our wedding.   Ryan was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we started the engagement session, we knew our wedding pictures would not disappoint. We were right. Ryan was not only professional but very creative on taking different shots and listening to our opinions. He was very open and receptive to our style and our preferences.
  
  We had seen his photography style before, and knew he took amazing candid/photojournalistic shots. So for our wedding, we told him what pictures we absolutely had to have, and then gave him free artistic rein.
  
  We were looking for a photographer who could photograph the event, rather than posed shots. Ryan did just that. Each photo has it's own personality. Anyone can take a picture but Ryan has that creative photographers eye that turns a photo into an artistic scene.
  
  Ryan was always fast to respond to my many emails, phone calls, numerous questions and requests. And don't worry about that annoying photographer always in your face, with Ryan you don't even notice he is there. He got through the few posed pictures we requested quickly, and then the rest of the time I didn't even really notice him (but he was constantly taking pictures). And don't worry about missing any of those picture perfect moments, he somehow was able to catch them all.
  
  Ryan (and his lovely assistant) shot photos with both film and digital cameras. The photos shot on film were unique and refreshing. The film photos complement the digital photos nicely. I prefer the organic look of the film photos but all the photos turned out awesome.
  
  We highly recommend You Look Nice Photography to anyone who wants an amazing and affordable photographer.

  We just love the photography that was done at our Wedding! Ryan was amazing to work with. He was fun and made taking pictures one of the highlights of that special day. I am so glad that Ryan and his wife were a part of our Day! Thanks Ryan- we not only have beautiful pictures but we have wonderful memories as well!

The film photos were absolutely goreous! they are full of vibrant colors, beautiful details and they were able to capture timeless moments. I would absolutely recommend You Look NIce Today Photography...hands down!
