My husband and I were married on 8/24/2019. We had a shorter engagement, a little over 9 months, and had planned to have a family friend who was an ordained minister marry us as I am catholic & my husband is not, so we were not able to do the traditional church wedding. 6 days before the wedding, YES SIX DAYS, my minister cancelled on us and we were stuck. We live in Maine & were getting married in Pittsburgh so HOW were we going to figure this out in 6 days. My aunt knew of Michelle from a friend, and within 1 hour, I was talking on the phone with Michelle as if we had been friends for YEARS. She is the kindest, most down to earth person I have ever met. I went from a frantic bride who had no idea what to do 6 days before my wedding, to feeling so DARN blessed that this happened and Michelle popped into my life. She was so professional & made me feel so calm the day of my wedding. She even offered to do breathing exercises with me right before walking down the aisle! She is so full of energy and is so talented as what she does. My husband & I had written our entire ceremony ourselves, and she didn't hesitate once when we asked her to use our original work. She was a ROCKSTAR. We are so thankful for her, for LITERALLY saving our day. But for also just being such a wonderful, kind, funny person. We loved her so much she stayed and partied for our entire reception! BOOK MICHELLE FOR YOUR WEDDING - I promise you won't regret it. -

Michelle was great to work with. She provided us with ceremony choices and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. She took charge of our rehearsal and kept everyone organized and informed about what they were to do. She is personable and funny and on the day of, she ran the ceremony beautifully! Many people commented on what a great officiant we had. -

Very Personable
Michelle was the perfect choice for our wedding ceremony. My husband and I are not religious, but we still wanted something meaningful. Michelle does all types of ceremonies and can make it as religious as you want it to be. All of our guests raved about how amazing our ceremony was and that it was the most beautiful ceremony they ever attended. We also wanted to include unity sand and she was able to add or subtract anything we wanted. She sent us copies of ceremonies to chose from and you can also have her design something else if you wish. She made us feel so comfortable at the ceremony and added in some humor to make us less nervous. -

We LOVE Michelle!
Michelle was so amazing to work with. Profesional, very responsive during the planning, and helped make our day special. I loved that she provided so many options for us to choose from. We wanted a quick, non religious ceremony and she delivered! She’s so sweet and amazing at what she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. -

Michelle always responded with a sense of urgency and assisted us in the figuring out the best vows and service for us! She was upbeat and had an amazing energy to her. I highly recommend Michelle for anyone looking to get married! we were married outdoors and she used her skills to help guide us on where to stand that would be best for lighting and more! She will definitely assist you in making your day perfect! We are so thankful that she was the officiant for the most awesome day of our lives. -

Michelle was absolutely fantastic! From the start, she was very low key and continued to remind us to just focus on what we want as a couple and not what would satisfy other people. Michelle was also very helpful by answering any questions I came to her with even if they didn't pertain to her. Michelle provided me with all of the ceremony details that she has done in the past and gave me the choice of whatever I wanted. We are not a religious couple and therefore, did not do typical religious rituals and Michelle did not push any counseling. Day of Michelle was so helpful with everything. She helped everyone feel at ease and helped us along the way through every step of the ceremony. My family even commented that they loved her and felt comfortable around her. Michelle ran our ceremony exactly the way we wanted it and kept it running smoothly. I definitely recommend her for any future couples looking for an officiant! -

I wish that I could recommend Michelle in good faith because she was so nice and exceptionally accommodating with the covid postponement (even offered at one point to do a Zoom ceremony early on in the pandemic). However, on the actual wedding day, she brought an "apprentice" that was a complete surprise to me and she tried to seat him by my bridesmaids. Luckily my sister noticed and made him sit in the audience so he wouldn't be in the background of all pictures, but since I could only have 30 people at my wedding, I didn't appreciate a complete stranger being among the small crowd anyway. She also SKIPPED OUR VOWS!!!! We never said the classic “to have and to hold…” vows that were clearly written into our script. I was so focused on not throwing up that I didn't notice when she skipped the section, but my husband mentioned it to me when we were walking back down the aisle afterwards..."we never said I DO?!". She also forgot to tell the guests to be seated, so everyone (including elderly grandparents) stood the whole time. EDIT: Following my original review, she somehow got the ceremony recording from my videographer and then messaged me saying “thanks for the bad review but you actually did do your vows.” Her rude response and trying to gaslight me on something WITH VIDEO EVIDENCE is beyond unacceptable. Even in her reply here, she refuses to apologize for her clear omission and insists that she followed the script. I was trying to be kind in my original review and also didn’t mention how she refused to listen to my wishes regarding a unity candle ceremony: we were disallowed a regular candle due to COVID restrictions at our wedding, and although I tried working with the venue to find creative alternate solutions, they kept saying no so I just wanted to drop it. I told Michelle FOUR times that I didn’t want to pursue it further, and she kept pushing and insisting (so much so that I was worrying about it the morning of the wedding and messaged her again to make it clear that I did not want any unity candle ceremony included!). This has been a horrible experience and I strongly recommend you find ANY other officiant.Your Wedding Day Michelle Trumble's reply:
Hannah, I am sorry that you were disappointed. You are correct about the apprentice. I should have said something to you. As far as not asking people to sit; I was so concerned with all the rules of Heinz that day, I was scared to do anything. All I can do is apologize.
