Erin and her whole team were absolutely perfect. Erin was so easy and great to work with. She made the experience so easy -- from picking out a menu, to the day of -- she was great. She made sure even the smallest of details weren't forgotten and were perfect. She helped make our vision for our wedding come to fruition. We had decided to use Country Club at Otterkill after meeting with Erin (You're the Boss Events) who manages the weddings/events at Otterkill. Immediately my family and I felt so comfortable and that we were in the best hands at this venue and with You're the Boss. Of course we chose this before 2020 changed everyone's plans. From the second COVID became a reality in the US, YTB's Erin/Anne were providing us with continual information. When we officially decided to postpone our big reception for next year the team at Otterkill made all the changes so simple with ease. Erin even offered to host our immediate family after we decided to get married at the church on our original date. I cannot thank Erin, Anne, and everyone at YTB for all their help. They made our original date feel as important even with the smaller guest count, and also keep us excited for our reception with all our guest next year. The service we received is sadly hard to come by, these people run their business with their hearts and integrity. They treat every event as the most important event they have. If I have any advice for other brides... stop looking-- book them!! How business treated customers throughout COVID speaks volumes and I am so proud to not only have ONE but TWO wedding celebrations with the help of YTB. To everyone there on their team- Thank you thank you thank you!! You made my dreams come true, and I cannot wait for next year. -

Our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was if it wasn’t for You’re the Boss! Everything was perfect! We met with Erin to go over our vision and she made it come to life! The food was fantastic! We did a buffet and by the end of the night, there were no leftovers! YTB also did our decor, flowers, day of coordination, and wedding cake. Nothing was short of amazing! Erin, you truly made our day!! -

Simply the Best ✨
I have to take a moment to share with you all the the incredible services of You're The Boss Weddings & Events. Our wedding venue was a beautiful mountainside space, and it was also VERY challenging for Erin and her team to have access pre-wedding, transport staff, equipment, food and beverages up a mountainous dirt road, set up the outside spaces for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the indoor space for the reception.
In addition to an outstanding and delicious menu, she created a mind-blowing foraging table and mini Viennese table that were unequal in choice and deliciousness to any event I’ve attended (and I’ve attended a lot). Beside all this, she and her team coordinated the arrival and payment for all the other vendors (and there were many), created the most beautiful bouquets and table centerpieces, and made sure to stock our favorite wines and Scotches. Throughout the entire event, our maitre d, Anne, made sure no detail was overlooked and everything ran smoothly.
I’m still blown away by how well it all went and this is all because of Erin and her outstanding team at You’re The Boss Weddings & Events. Thank you, Erin, for making our day so special and beautiful for us, and for each and every guest. You are simply the best ✨ -

Made our day perfect!
This review is long overdue, but we can’t recommend Erin and her team enough. Erin sat down with us and got our vision on every element of how we wanted our wedding to look and feel - then executed it to perfection. Florals and decor were perfect and I didn’t really have to overthink anything which was priceless to us trying to balance work and wedding planning. Erin also catered our rehearsal dinner at YTB headquarters and it was perfect - intimate, relaxed, delicious food - it was exactly how we wanted it to be. The week of our wedding, we experienced a family emergency and Erin was able to handle everything for us so we could focus on taking care of our family and show up and get married. Victoria assisted us during our rehearsal and wedding day and she really kept things calm and on track. It was the greatest day and we couldn’t have done it without them. -

We worked with Erin and her team for our 9/21 wedding at Emmerich Tree farm for catering, florals, decor and coordination. It was truly a breeze and a delight to work with them. I gave Erin minimal instruction as far as florals and decor and she knocked it out of the park. She totally got our vision from the get-go, understood what was and wasn’t important to us, and really delivered. Our guests raved about everything — particularly that all of the food was amazing, from the cocktail hour spread to dinner & desserts — and they were a very large tough crowd to please! We really couldn’t have done it without Erin (and Victoria as our day-of coordinator who handled the day seamlessly and made sure we ate!). We can’t thank YTB enough! -

Absolutely wonderful!!
You’re the Boss helped make my bridal shower dreams come true! They worked very closely with my parents to plan the perfect day and I will never forget walking into the room to see the most beautiful rustic decor that fit my style perfectly! My parents had never planned a bridal shower before and had tons of questions and YTB was right there to help with every detail and make them feel at ease! From the most beautiful flowers to the adorable signs placed around the room, not a single detail was missed. I couldn’t thank you enough for such a wonderful day!! -

Best catering/flowers/planning ever!
I contacted Erin to hire her for the NY wedding I was planning from CA. I was thrilled to hear that she could take care of not only the food and the cake, but also the flowers, the planning, decorating and day-of coordination. I didn’t feel one ounce of that wedding-planning-stress I had heard so much about, and I attribute that to Erin and her YTB team. I was prepared to have some challenges planning a cross country wedding but there were none. She was responsive when I had questions and ideas, thorough with her end of the planning, and couldn’t have been kinder. When our wedding day came, we worked with Anne and Jessica who kept everything running smoothly and made sure my husband and I were happy and hydrated all night. Erin cooked the most delicious food that our guests are still talking about, and nobody left hungry. Multiple guests even asked what she used for the entree courses so that they could replicate them at home. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned in my head, and the decor was all perfect. We utilized YTB’s rental program and we didn’t have to provide any centerpieces or signage, which was really nice since we had to travel with everything. I would book YTB again in a heartbeat! -

When I was looking into planning a wedding at a venue that was more on the DIY side, I was so glad to have run across Erin at YTBEvents! Although I wanted the feel of a rustic, DIY event, my husband and I are NOT CREATIVE AT ALL so we were stunned when we read that YTBEvents does pretty much every single thing you need under one roof. I was able to not stress too much about execution of decor detail the day of, because Erin took care of the flowers & all decor; she also provided our wedding cake (of which I sadly did not get to eat any ...but everyone loved it) and day-of-coordination services. She pretty much took care of everything so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything day-of! She was also super flexible and when I had certain things I wanted implemented, it was always a quick "no problem"!. Most of all, for all the services she provides, everything is SUPER affordable (flowers were probably 1/2 the price what I was quoted at other places, for example). I know YTB is worth way more than they currently are priced at, so I would get onto it now when they are just starting off officially as its own company (although Erin has done weddings for years now).
All in all, super affordable, great for a rustic/DIY wedding (YTBEvents has so much in-house decor to use, and since they are still building out, always has new inventory they're adding), and perfect for streamlining the number of vendors you're dealing with for your wedding. There are a few venues that the team is super familiar with, but even if the venue is not on their often-visited list I highly recommend them so that you can take advantage of the skill and support a local business offers! -

Erin managed by wedding at Otterkill in September and she did such a stellar job. She provided me with such great advice prior to my wedding and brought so much decor day-of to go with my "rustic" decor theme. She was super responsive and easy to get in touch with when I needed her. I would absolutely recommend Erin and her team to anyone! -
Kate Sent on 01/03/2018Erin was a great Wedding Coordinator! I planned my Camp wedding from A to Z on my own but knew that with the logistics of a weekend wedding as well as being at a Summer camp, that I was going to need some extra hands the weekend of. Erin and her assistant Kate were an enormous help. The logistics of a camp wedding are all over the place and they helped to make everything run smoothly from check in, to meals, activities, moving bars around the campsite, assisting with my table settings (which I messed up last minute and Erin totally saved me by hand writing herself!!). I did not have a wedding party or any MOH to help with the planning. Erin felt like an old friend and was great at advice leading up to the weekend and bouncing ideas off of when I couldn't sleep at night and was thinking of random wedding things. Since this is my first rodeo and obviously not hers that was greatly appreciated. Erin also has a plethora of awesome décor pieces from birch rounds or crates, to galvanized tubs for welcome cocktails or our bloody mary bar. She brought all of these free of charge which was a huge help to personalize and also saved me a ton on budget. Erin also is an amazing baker. On top of all the above she made us two delicious homemade custom cakes. One funfetti birthday cake which we were bale to sing to my many guests who celebrated a birthday over our wedding weekend, and a 2nd grooms cake customized with the NYMets logo and our initials and wedding date. Both cakes were delicious and a perfect personalized touch for the weekend. Her rates for the cakes were extremely reasonable I will be coming back for more of the Peanut Butter :) I would 100% recommend Erin for any wedding or event you are throwing in the area.

She organized an intimate rehearsal dinner at the Caldwell House Bed & Breakfast for friends and family before the big day. She incorporated little winks at the new families heritage, predominately their Polish side. She worked hard to stay within the budget and added affordable options to the menu that the couple could choose as add-ons. In the end, not a single plate went back to the kitchen with much more than sauce on it. Everyone raved that the perogies were phenomenal! That's what you get when a caterer goes above and beyond to please clients and work with local vendors. -

We had a long run-up to our wedding with about 20 months of time to plan. Erin and everyone at YTB! was absolutely amazing. She helped us find our other vendors, and they all worked seamlessly together at our venue Emmerich Tree Farm. The decor was stunning, the food was delicious, the staff were helpful and made us feel supported all day, and we didn't have to worry at all about set-up and take-down. I would highly recommend Erin to anyone. Our one small issue had to do with the fact that Erin is very busy and does many events. While this comes with experience that is invaluable, sometimes we had to send multiple emails or texts to get a response. But this was a VERY small thing, and all of the amazing work that Erin and her team did made up for it a thousand times over.
